Walls of death are a lot more safer than other kind of pits... I was in a push pit on Babymetal on the same Hellfest and it felt a lot more dangerous because of the lost of balance+avalanche effect... in a wall of death there's only one direction of force so you can keep your balance much better (the same as the circle pit, also very very fun to do)
I never hurt myself badly in a the moshpit... Except for during Baby Metal this year at Hellfest!

It was so funny im 49 last year i took my son to our 1st concert ever Robert Ortiz drummer for Escape the Fate put us on the guest list And we were so excited My son is 23 he has Asperger's so mentally hes about 15 , but hes 6'2 235lbs, When they started splitting the crowd for the Wall of Death Luke grabbed me in a bear hug and bulldozed his way towards the side wall and caged me in😂😂😂 He said Momma they'd kill you out there. I laughed so much ❤

Reminds me of seeing Rammstein at Chicago open air 16' haha was like 100,000 people there and you couldn't even sit down was so packed 16 hours of standing and smashed into the barricade but worth every bruise by far the best concert I ever went to!

Dagoba's seems big because the empty space at the beginning was wider.
Slaughter to Prevail's was wayyyy longer and people kept coming from both side for a long time after the front lines met.
I'd say Dagoba's was around 200 to 300 people big. Slaughter to Prevail was a few thousands big easily.
