Hey Tenn neighbor, been stalkin your channel -- it's great man! I'm a CJ guy but last year bought a 01 WJ from a friend so lookin at you to learn all I can. Thanks for puttin it out for us -- eventually this is going to be a big channel because you have the personality for it.
Geezus buddy I wish you was a JK man. Just came across your channel the other day and you got the purest content I've ever seen. Keep the videos coming!
I cant really remember but a mopar guy told me once something about a 318. Said you can put 360 heads on it. You might have to do something else but I don’t remember. It’s been way too many moons ago. 🤷🏻♂️. Said something about making a 318 stroker
I have a 318 in my yard with no hood and no intake. It fills with water. When i change the oil in anothr rig, i drain the water out and i pour the old oil in the 318 and fire it up. It always cranks with no compression and then fires up fine and does burnys. Sounds the same.
@@brysonshires9742 maybe you should subscribe and one day I'll get the balls to show all the footage I've taken for my channel I won't keep putting off.
Still waiting for you to tell how many engines you have taken out and how many you have installed. Not being exact, you know better than anyone a best estimate. At 63, I have pulled 3 and installed two. 😬😬😬😬
I'm my opinion and that is probably just me but id say that the 5.2 litre 318 magnum V8 is the better of the two engines between it and the 360 5.9 litre magnum V8, honestly I truely also believe the magnum series engines are seriously underrated and unappreciated and remember im usually a gm fan and I love my 305,307 Chevy and 307 Oldsmobile v8 motors, but I think my favorite small block is the magnum 318 5.2 litre it's just impressive for how it comes setup stock... compared to most of the other offerings in the similar year vehicles from the different manufacturers so yeah, and ls i kinda like those 4.8.5.3,there is a 5.7 not very common,i believe it actually falls at the last of the vortec engine series,6.0 and 6.2 id like to find a decent 6.0 cheap that doesn't usually happen.. anyway and although I like the 4.6,5.4 and 6.8 v10 ford motorcraft engines im not a fan of modular engines that is why for the most part of the newer offerings from 89-2003 probably id choose the Mopar 5.2 318 magnum V8 and successor 4.7 magnum V8 and i believe they actually made a h.o. version of the 4.7 i could be wrong on that though i have not owned any 4.7s personally but several friends and family have

Rule thumb is you suppose to start drill and stop drill on outside of bore before honing with the dingle ball honer to keep from scratching the bore

I honestly Dk much. There’s a lot of brands worse than RCX stuff. Teraflex is good but $$$$
Man I was thinking the timing chain was stretched being that the valves hit the pistons
It would be dope if you put a 5.9 cam. Beef up the heads and finish it with a HUGHES FI AIRGAP KIT

Crankshaft position sensor signal engine has to receive a timing reference signal to the PCM or it will not run
