      @levipb1403 @d24 There is no direct link between photos and files, for example. If you download a picture from a link like Google drive or onedrive, it saves it to the files app, but it doesn't show up in the photos app. From the files app, you have to share the picture to photos. This essentially creates two copies of the same file - one Iives in the photos app and one lives in the files app. You then have to delete the photo from the files app to avoid wasting storage space.

    iOS is the sure reason why I can't use an iPhone as my daily phone. I don't like it at all. And the fact that it is not an OS made to be used with one hand really annoys me. I always have to reach to the top left or top right corners of most pages or apps, which is very annoying. Yes, lately iOS has borrowed a lot from Android, but it is far from being as easy to use. Everything is more complicated on iOS and always requires more steps. So, yes, I love the iPhone, but I hate iOS. For me Android remains the easiest to use and the most intuitive.

    As an iOS and longtime Android user I have one issue with Android. Android has many features but it’s not always working flawlessly. iOS has less features but every feature is well thought through and works consistently good.
    Password manager or backup is just great on iOS. With Android it sometimes works well when Google is Samsung Pass asks to save passwords but it doesn’t work with all apps and it seems an hit and miss feature. Going to a new phone is also a disaster with restoring backup and passwords.

    I think the worst caveat of Apple Intelligence is that it's only getting functional in the US, I mean what is that. And what about languages...

    • @JaredDoyle76
      @JaredDoyle76 3 месяца назад +4

      It will roll out to more countries and languages. Apple is US based, so it's only logical to start there and expand.

      The UK is getting Apple intelligence in December but even from next month as long as you set the language to US English, you will get Apple Intelligence around the world until the rollout of Apple Intelligencer countries.

    I have used ios for the past 7 years and only recently went back to android. My final iphone was the 15 pro max. I can tell you i saw no real changes to the user experience in ios. Exremely boring to use, very hard to navigate and its all over the place. you may think why i was with ios for that long to be honest i have no idea. Im very happy with Android and will never go back to ios. Its not as user friendly as you think and just a very poor operating system.

      is that why the apple chipset crushes most android smartphones?

    • @GabrielRM
      @GabrielRM 3 месяца назад

      @@moneyman64 it doesn't. By "most" android phones I guess you're looking at the low-tier and mid-tier markets as that's the majority. iPhones don't have anything in that market so you need to compare to the flagships like Samsung's ultra series. This is why many apple users seem to think iPhone is better, but you're comparing a Ferrari to a toyota. Qualcomm flagship chips are crazy good, and the ones for Samsung tend to be slightly over locked as standard on top of that. Even mediatek flagship chips are insane, apple chips aren't what they used to be unfortunately.
