Big time bro! Performance for the age's 💪👌🎯💯👍🥇👑
Who are you, his mother? Stevie Wonder
I'm sorry but Val Kilmer , what a performance should have won a award or Oscar for his performance , incredible ......
I agree! Thanks for stopping by
I have watched this movie like 13 times and don't get tired of watching it..got to be my #1 favorite add Silverado to it LoL
I totally agree and I also thought he should have at least been nominated for his performance as Jim Morrison in The Doors and should have probably won that too... Great Actor...
No doubt 4sure who one best supporting actor that year if anyones knows comment but still think val wins
Don't have to be sorry. 100% great acting!
Both Val Kilmer and Michael Biehn deserved Oscars . The chemistry between the 2 characters they each portrayed was extraordinary. . .
So true! Thanks for stopping bye
@@JohnnieVolatile Bye, as in good bye?
I have seen doc Holliday played by quite a few different actor's!! But in my opinion they all pale in light of Val kilmer's portrayal of doc Holliday!! He was truly magnificent in that part🎉 in my opinion to this day I don't think there's another one that can his portrayal of doc Holliday!! Val kilmer really should have won an Oscar for his portrayal of doc Holliday!!
Hi Eleanor - I agree 100%. Thanks for stopping bye and commenting.
One of the best performances of all time👍😁
My favorite movie, hands down. Val is incredible. Your right, should have got an award!!
You’re. Contraction for you are, not your
Surely this IS one of the best western I have seen and this movie depicts why America is the land of the Wild and the Brave and what make it Great and Val performance was just brilliant. Greetings from Brazil.
Val kilmer was fantastic as Doc holiday. Brilliant. Great western. Thanks Val
Tombstone , is the best Western ever made of whyatt & Doc Holiday .. val kilmer should have won An Oscar for his performance .. He is Absolutely out of this world ,,
Devine & talented , beyond words ..
Perfect Western
Agreed, he gave the best performance in the film and he should have won. If you have not seen this movie go watch it. Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday stole every scene he was in.
agree largely
They should have named this movie DOC.
This is my favorite western movie. Excellent!!
Val Kilmer deserved an Oscar but not just because he was Doc Holliday because his acting made you think that he was Doc Holliday that's when you know the best acting job of any movie
Hello Johnnie. I'm not American. But I love all of your musics. Two weeks ago I invited one if my American friend and his wife. We started to drink some wine before dinner. I played this music. My friend "Adam" said: after 36 months, I feel I'm in my own home in US. Thank you Johnnie. Your fan from middle east- Iran. Sincerely Jax
Hi Jax, thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate that you took the time to listen to my songs. It is heartwarming to know that my song has made your friends think of home. Comments like yours make it all worth while. Thanks again for stopping bye and leaving such an encouraging message. Take care!
This is a great compliation! It shows that when Ringo was doing the fancy gun twirling and everyone else was going, "OoH and Ah! Doc was carefully noting his draw speed! He knew exactly how Ringo drew!
Spot on Joseph - thank you for stopping bye and posting. 🎸
Absolutely Fantastic Performance 👍👍👍👍
Such a great cast and script! Cinematography and sets are top notch! No other movie has so many quotable lines! I watched it 10 times in the theater and countless others on TV! Of all the actors who have played Doc no one comes close to Kilmer!
Hi Buck_Jones1909. I agree 100%. thanks for stopping bye
Val gave an absolute masterclass of a performance. Every speech, movement and pause was sublime.
No Oscar, but without doubt one of the best screen portrayals of all time.
These two actors made this movie beyond immortal.
sooooo True! the entire cast was excellent
ONLY comment I can Think of that is truly worth posting is that no matter what they intended when they made this movie in my opinion, Val Kilmer STOLE THIS MOVIE in his roll as Doc Holliday...👍wwg1wga 👍
When someone mentions this movie, my first thought is of Val Kilmer and his portrayal of Doc Holiday.
Val nailed this performance. Awesome movie
so true! Thanks for sopping bye
I'll be your huckleberry
Y’all have to admit, this is a classic. 👍👍
Showing off in that saloon was what got Ringo killed. He meant to mock Doc. Doc watched him and his speed and got his measure, and knew he could take him.
And as such when the time came, Doc didn't hesitate for one second. He drew, Johnny died.
Never give your enemy intelligence about your capabilities. If you have to, make sure it's misinformation. Ego has no place in combat.
Classic Western Kilmer deserved to win the Oscar award for his performance 🎭
“You’re a daisy if you do” and “you ain’t no daisy at all!” Iconic!
" I know Ike, let's have a spelling contest" - I love all his memorable quotes. Thanks for stopping bye.
Love how Doc is at a disadvantage, then Johnny, then both are on an even keel. Sober thoughts and sober deeds to everyone this weekend. Nice montage.
One of the best scenes from my favorite movie! 👍
If ever there was an injustice then it was Val Kilmer not winning an Oscar for portrait of Doc Holliday
so true! Thanks for stopping bye. 🙂
Your timing with the music and commentary is remarkable. I can’t stop listening.
THANK YOU!
Johnny Ringo made a grave mistake by showing off his gun slinging skills and telling doc and his possies that he wants their blood but doc was not the kind of man that you can run ur mouth over and assume that he'll forget about it in no time, johnny Ringo was scared of him a bit cos he knows doc reputation but his ego won't let him back down so he pay the price, the duel between them two was fascinating and the way doc drew his six shooter and put a lead on Ringo's forehead was impressive and realistic, I love this movie so much and in my opinion this has to be the best western cowboys movie ever made
I have to agree with you! Thanks for stopping by.
@@JohnnieVolatile ur welcome bro

Hello Zombie Parrot - This is one of my favorite westerns also. Thanks for stopping bye and for the kind words. :)
Come on Ringo, come on You can do it...a legendary performance
The best performance !
Doc e Johny Ringo.
Rj Brasil..
"I am your huckleberry" - if it wasn't Val Kilmer this movie wouldn't be even known to the world. Love and Respect Doc Holidae.
Val should have received an Oscar! Thanks for stopping by.
Respectfully, it’s not Huckleberry. It is Huckle Bearer. A Huckle is the handle on the side of the coffin. What he is actually saying is that “I’ll carry your coffin!” It gives new meaning to that line, doesn’t it?
He was outstanding i watch this over and over because of he playing Doc
Doc's been around and he realizes that Ringo's twirling gun tricks are nothing more than a parlor trick! I think at this moment Doc see's that he can take him anytime he wants when he's sober. I think that Ringo realizes it as well and in the final showdown he is completely unhinged. The subtlety in the acting is amazing on both, two great actors who never got the credit they deserved, they made the movie. great script but the line delivery between these two is amazing in the final showdown. Great camera work to show their faces in that scene as well
.
Val Killer as Doc Holliday? No person prior to or since could do a finer take. But, and not as an aside, Johnny Ringo death scene is in my unqualified opinion, the best death scene ever acted out, in any movie, EVER! A well deserved salute to Michael Biehn.
So True! Thanks for stopping by.
Arguably one of the best western movies of all time.
Too many to say which is best!!!!!
Johnnie, very good job! I've probably watch this one a couple hundred times and shared with a lot of likes. Well done! I just wanted to tell you one musician to another. Great job... Perfect editing with the movie... Bravo!
Wow! Jrjimi7216 - I am speechless and extremely thankful for your likes and positive comments. Thank you for your support , it is greatly appreciated.
The way Doc and Ringo stole the show is just crazy good, Val and Michael were so in tune with each other to make this a better movie, they succeeded big time! Such a great movie from start to finish!
You are spot on! Thanks for stopping by
Classic Movie, some liscence taken for effect, but never going to forget this version.
I agree with Neal Ivers, Unforgiven is very very good , pretty close to properly telling stories of men with nerves made of steel and with no thought of consequence to themselves.
The gunfight inside the building in the end saw many terrified cowboys up against a stone cold killer who just took his time and aimed, and killed a few.
The rest were panicking except for his pschycopathic enemy, Little Bill, Gene Hackman what a classic actor.
I've read about gunfights and weapons of the time and fights in close quarters, like Ringo and Holliday in their reckoning in the Tombstone movie.
I believe gunfights were few and far between and gunfighters usually won one, when every thing was in their favour, not sure if they ever walked towards each other down the street and probably missed half the time , mainly shoot first ask later. Those old colts weighted 9 pounds. Probably have to rest the barrel on one arm shoot with the other. No speedy draws with that?
Thats why I liked the end guinfight in Unforgiven , if ever there was a practised cold killer, Will Munny was one, he sent the blind pretend gunman away keep on going don't stop!
He avenged his friend, and took off to California with his kids. After wards, never heard of again, actually finished the contract for the Saloon Girls. Buried Little Bill who needed burying ha ha! Great Movies both!

Absolutely! Michael Biehn did an incredible job playing Johnny Ringo. In fact the entire cast was excellent. Thanks for stopping by.
So well put together. I've seen this clip countless times but nothing as good as this and with an extremely good song well done sir 👏 😎
Hi Gerry D , thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to view my video and leave a message. I am glad you like my song also. Take care!

Micheal Biehn gave the performance of a lifetime in this movie, perfect for this roll.

I LOVE the music to this video. I've watched over n over.
Hello mobettaloretta44, Thank you for the kind comment and for your support. It is appreciated. 🙂
Great acting by both men ,these two stole the show in this movie
I agree 100 % Thanks for stopping by
I just realized something. It’s so incredibly subtle and a credit to the brilliance of Kilmer and Biehn. When they are at the bar and JR is showing off, Doc watches his movements with calculated intensity. In a way that nobody else does. When Doc mimics JR’s movements with the cup, JR watches him with the same intensity. After Doc is done and Ringo is about to walk away, he gives this look as though he just realized that Doc is better. And this is something that only these 2 masters of their craft would be able to understand. If you think about it, this explains JR’s hesitation when they finally meet to fight.
I’ve watched this movie and this clip and I totally agree. It’s one of the best “modern” westerns ever!
I just re-watched this and realize that Doc doesn't even consider him a threat! He knows he can take him (if sober, big jump for Doc at this point). He's just enjoying a man making a fool of himself and nobody but him realizing it. Great acting all around. Michael Bien is so under-rated, and Val never got the credit he deserves. Thanks for posting this.
@@brianjohnson9000 so true! Both actors were excellent - in fact the entire cast was perfect!
This is so good whoever put the ballad of Johnny ringo to this video. And the putting the video into one from the streets of tombstone till when the the doc and him met up again. I love it. Thankyou

What an excellent cast! Thanks for stopping bye.
I love how Val portrayed Doc. He should have won an award.
Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by
AGREE
The Academy has been full of politicized shit for decades. Val is not the first actor they've screwed over.
As tough as Val Kilmer was to work with he was worth it in this movie. He did an outstanding job on Doc Holiday and worked hard to get the character just right by studying the accent and his character. Well done Val Kilmer.
Val Kilmer not winning an Oscar was total and utter b.s.!
Indeed. "Supporting actor" my ASS, he stole every scene he was in. Michael Beign ran a close second as Johnny Ringo. And any scene with them TOGETHER was pure gold.
You got that right Val made the movie, he was a bad dude!
VAL should have an Oscar! KURT R should have a lifetime achievement award!! This man (kurt) IS A WHALLOPOSSA! Thank you for your films/inspirations/morality!

My and my family favorite movie of all times. Doc Holliday/Val Kilmer was phenomenal 💯
Just think if you could handle your problems in a dual. What a beautiful world it would be. Great video.
Val off the charts nailed it!!!!! Right up there with Heath Ledger The Joker. And then throw in Brando. Is anyone understanding what I’m saying?!!!! Legendary performances.
Yes, this movie is the best western movie for me.
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL VIDEO FOOTAGE AND PLAYING...
Hello Riccardoreardon, I appreciate the comment. Thanks for stopping by. :)
While no doubt that Val Kilmer was excellent in this movie and should have won an Oscar, Michael Biehn also did an excellent job as Johnny Ringo.
this movie, young guns and outlaw josey wales are the 3 best westerns ever made. Val should have received and award for his performance. remarkable.
U have a very limited amount of older westerns to watch or u r a younger fan. It's funny they keep redoing old movies (they don't make movies anymore like they used to) Magnificent 7 (60s) Shootout at the OK Corral (60s). Nevada Smith (60s) (Steve McQueen) Tom Horn (Steve McQueen 1980 his last 1 of 2 movies he made n 1980 died n 11/80.) And so on!!!!

Nice job my friend. Your music set to these scenes gave me a new perspective on one of my favorite films.
Awesome, thank you!
Truly I thing this was Val’s best role and yes deserved an Oscar best supporting role,
I think the greatest thing about Doc and the most underappreciated trait is his intelligence. Be it poker or gun fights or just conversation. He was always 2 steps ahead. He knew exactly how to push your buttons and mess with your mind, get you out of your game. He had the advantage before his opponent even knew there was an advantage to be had. Like his constant talking in the beginning poker game, knowing it was irritating the hell out of him, or the wink at the ok corral. 😉. Sometimes he'd just use his intimidation like the opposing gun spins when the cowboy thinks he's too drunk to shoot, it completely set him back on his heels in shock. It seems that every word, mannerism or facial expression had a purpose. SORRY THEY SCREWED YOU VAL! But you have all of our eternal gratitude and love for your performance as Doc.
By the way .. cool video, and even better song choice!
Great role portrayed by Val Kilmer. Definetly the best Doc Holiday i have ever seen. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨
True Story Thomas! Thanks for stopping bye.
Agreed Val Kilmer was really good in this. He did deserve an Academy Award. Shame on you hollywood
Spot On terrielagarza6714 - Thanks for stopping bye.
Val deserved an Oscar nomination but whether he would have won it or not is another thing. Tommy Lee Jones won for the Fugitive and he was very good in that movie as was Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List and John Malkovich In The Line Of Fire. Fans will always have their favorites usually represented by the People's Choice Awards but the Academy votes differently.
Best western movie I have ever seen. Probably have seen it about “hundred times”.

I'll drink to that.
Hey man the music gives it soul god bless johnny just like the movie it's bad as hell!!
Thanks for your uplifting post Danny! And thanks for stopping bye.
He deserved the Respect to get nominated…give the man respect for his acting skills and ability to bring a person back to life on the screen. Best actor in supporting role? I’m assuming that’s the category he would land. Nominees that year; Hackman - unforgiven , Pacino-Glengarry Rose, Nicholson - Few hood men, .
Tommy Lee Jones got it for "The Fugitive." No acting skills there. Just Tommy playing Tommy. Val (Doc) should have gotten it!
The producers released the film without premier with no critics. Tombstone could have had a sweep in the Oscar all around good movie but Val was the best.
3:33 "Im your Huckleberry" The guitar solo is perfect for that piece. How Val did not win an Oscar is beyond thinking...........

Val Kilmer should have won an Oscar Award for this performance.
Why because you liked the character?
@@reidycruise well as far as the movie goes yes I liked his character. . The movie was great as was Kilmer s performance
The Character Doc Holiday was so complex in this movie. The one thing that I absolutely loved was know matter what Doc always had Wyatt's back. Especially at the shootout at the river one of my favorite exchanges that often gets over looked "Doc why are are you doing this " Doc Replied "Wyatt's Erp my friend" "Doc I have plenty of friends" and Doc said with the coldest look I've ever seen "I DONT " ! WOW a man willing to lay his life down for his friend, what respect they must have had for each other.
Spot on! I also enjoyed Wyatt Erp in the middle of the river yelling NO! Great scene in the movie.
Doc Holiday and Johnny Ringo had to be watching and saying Hell Yeah that was us Great music to a iconic scene 👏 TEN OUTTA TEN

Val Kilmer was absolutely amazing in this movie
You hit the nail on the head! He was brilliant.... :)
Best I ever saw.
There are quite a few actors around that have huge egos. But it doesn't matter what movie Tom Cruise is in, he looks and acts like himself Tom Cruise. If you see him in an interview he doesn't look any different than any of his characters. Mission Impossible Tom Cruise is identical to Top Gun Tom Cruise. And Jerry Mcguire Tom Cruise are all identical. And himself in interview setting.
He is the exact same person in every movie he is in.
Tom Hanks, great actor, but same thing.
Tom Hanks looks like Tom Hanks in all of his movie roles.
Sam Elliot, same walrus mustash same persona regardless what role he is in.
just to name a few, they always look exactly like themselves no matter what role they are in.
Robin Williams was a good at looking really different in different movies.
Kathy Bates looks and talks like Kathy Bates in every movie she is in. The list goes on and on.
Val Kilmer never struck me as someone who had a big ego. Just played his roles.
*Val Kilmer is a chameleon and in a league of his own. He does not look the same movie to movie. He changes his appearance, he changes his voice, his personality and dialect.
The Doors, (Jim Morrison character) Tombstone (Doc Holliday character
Top Gun, (Iceman Character)
and Val Kilmer himself are 4 different people. 😏

Even though Val Kilmer stole the show, I loved what Michael Biehn did with this character. Sorry the music was a little loud. @@JohnnieVolatile Season 3 Episode 18
72 18 "The Guns of Johnny Rondo" Phil Rawlins Gerry Day February 6, 1970
Sixteen tried and sixteen died, at the hands of Johnny Rondo; Sixteen holes and sixteen souls, from the guns of Johnny Rondo. A new ranch hand (Steve Forrest) is a retired gunslinger, who has sworn off violence and hung up his guns, but who is being hunted by a restless lynch mob - relations of his late victims.
The Episode, I actually found it was Johnny "Rondo" vs Ringo... Not sure if it was an alias or just a 1970 ripoff of the name, but clearly influenced by Ringo with a more sympathetic view of the gunman.
