    What makes it really hes impressive es doing this without any all star teammates, he's a 6'0 guard and he doesnt have a 40 in vertical. He is probably the most skilled player in the NBA, and his basketball IQ must be top 10.

    JB is the man. Lula knew it but JB would have been in Lukas shade if he stayed in Dallas. So going to NYK where his dad worked and they offered good money was a perfect choice.

    • @Smido83
      @Smido83 Месяц назад +6

      Wrong, Brunson wanted to stay in Dallas. He asked the FO TWICE for an extension...
      And BOTH times our FO didnt even talk to him. It was a huge fu** up. Cause after that he decited to go to a place that wants him and AFTER the 2nd rejection the Knicks signed his das as a coach. So the only reason why Brunson isnt playing in Dallas right now is Cuban, who didnt want to pay him.

      @@Smido83I don’t see how JB is vastly dif that Kyrie right now. I think it’s more of a fumble on Dallas for letting him go. But I do agree JB is better w the ball controlling the pace of the game than taking a backseat to Luka . At this stage in Kyries career he can afford to take more of that role than the ball dominant Luka & JB

    • @Smido83
      @Smido83 Месяц назад

      @@OGMeatball Kyrie isnt vastly differnt. But we had to give up an unprotected 2029 1st and DFS to get him. Not to mention that Brunson on a 55/4 deal averaging 25/5 (next to Luka) would be one of, if not the best asset in the entire NBA.
      But its over. He is gone and shows what he is capable of as a primary ballhandler. Our FO made a huge mistake, but recovered greatly over the last year.

    When Jalen got drafted I thought he would be an amazing sixth man on championship winning team (which at the time he was drafted was high praise). His leap over the last two years has been incredible and no one saw this coming. He’s now the best point guard in the Eastern Conference and will be an all -nba player this year while having one of the heaviest workloads in the NBA. Absolutely wild to witness his rise like this.

    I’ll be honest to admit when I’m wrong the money Knicks paid I was surprised by because normally that the type of money superstar, superstar-like and boarderline superstars gets paid. He’s proving himself these last two years turning himself into a turn number 1 option.
