Jalen Brunson is taking the NBA by storm with his incredible footwork and mastery of the mid-range game. Once doubted for his size, the crafty Knicks guard has silenced critics by averaging over 27 points per game. His methodical moves and deceptive fakes slice through defenses with surgical precision. An unlikely superstar, Brunson's fundamentally sound style is a throwback treat in the modern NBA. With him leading the charge, the revitalized Knicks are becoming sneaky contenders in the East.

That what I like most about Brunson, hes making hard headed sports talking heads and people change thier mind.

All sports favor the small. When the small guy knocks out the big guy is when we really get excited. Smaller athletes are better than bigger athletes, but, they have to be exceptional. We've been waiting for Jalen Brunson since Clyde hung em up...I'm so proud of my squad...the Knicks make me cry when they play like this

The quiet professionals are my favorites. Him, SGA, Joker, Wemby, Spida.

What I love about this guy is he’s so humble, quiet, never really boasts. Puts his head down and gets to work. Very admirable. Not going to lie, the moment this guy signed with the Knicks, I thought it was just another case of the Knicks overpaying. This guy changed the culture of the team. It does not revolve around Randle. It’s good for the team and Randle.

Well it’s the best, because I would say he does boast and PLAY condescendingly On THE COUrT. He has a pretty arrogant edge to his game when he’s feeling himself. And I love it. I freaking love it. He just has this dog energy out there. He knows he’s going to score 30 and 40 if it’s a decent game. And that’s how he acts. But he doesn’t act extra humble or anything while playing. And it’s part of what makes him so elite .
But to your point, I do like how humble he is off the court. He is such a selfless leader. He doesn’t act as if how good he is at scoring, how great he is as a starting PG, makes him some sort of god to the rest of the humans. And That is so great. No offense to Kobe, but I felt like Kobe during his career sort of acted as if his shit didn’t stink off the court. Brunson doesn’t at all. But he does have the same sort of supreme calm confidence on the court that Kobe did.

He only gets chippy when he has to, as an undersized individual relative to everyone else on the court. He’s accustomed to being underestimated. You can’t just push him around. He’s no pushover, even though he may seem like it at a first glance. He’s a very humble player compared to many, you can see it. Hard not to root for the guy.

Many his posessions should be called +1 just like Harden

@@willn8664 Zero blame goes to Melo for that. There would have been no Linsanity without Melo. The Knicks were about to cut him and Melo suggested Lin play. Then going forward it was LIN who decided to sign with Houston and so goes the story. Fast forward Jalen Brunson is everything they wanted Jeremy Lin to be. Actually GREAT at basketball. Not very good for a few weeks
