    We actually had a Chevette when I was a kid. It was a decent car if you didn't want to go over 55. Then again, we had a Yugo before that, so I think that's the one time you could consider a Chevette an upgrade.

    I can't imagine if you had to pull a trans or just needed to get under the vehicles in all that slop. The EPA made them concrete the whole Pic-a-Parts out here in Las Vegas like 5 years ago makes it nice to pull parts.

      Yea, they actually don't like us to film at this location fearing the EPA is going to see the conditions and step in. The Yard we hit in upstate is paved, but this dirt & discarded engine fluids stuff has got to go!

      @@DEInTheGarage If they would pave it their business would do a lot better and it would make it so much easier to clean the yard and the shopping carts that they supply roll a hell a lot easier on the pavement.

    That Nova was the 4th gen, there was a 3rd gen from 75 to 79. The Chevrolet Sprint was a Suzuki Swift rebadged as a Chevy or Pontiac Firefly in Canada, it had a 1.0l inline 3 and some came with a Turbo and 70hp on the turbo models with 35 MPG.

    86 is a four burner with probably a electric fence on the side and had those non-adjustable screws without drilling the rivets out so I still a carburetor it's one of the last carburetors

    The 6.8 v10 Triton is good as it doesn't have the cam phaser issues the 5.4 Triton because it doesn't have the Variable Valve Timing but the v10 is a thirsty beast. It does have the issues with spark plugs blowing out in the pre 2005 gen like the 5.4

    Dude my first car! I had a sprint in 2door the same year same color plus a bunch of black spray paint back window completely covered in bumper stickers , 3 cylinder Suzuki motor. I miss my ole death trap I called it the Sprunt

    Concerning the envoy, yes. The rear roof retracts, and there's an avalanche style midgate system in it. Called the envoy XUV

      I was actually thinking of the Miata from way in the beginning of their channel. That Midget series was AWESOME though. I loved how at the end Kevin goes "I am not even surprised when they run anyore... I am here so eventually it is going to run". Would trade one of my WJs for that dude's skills

    I drove a Chevy Sprint back in 1992. Looked just like the one in the video except silver. 5 speed 3 cyl. No power, but the fuel economy was amazing. 😂

    eg civics. Had a 93 hatch 1.5 I built to get as high gas mileage as possible. Easy to work on, but I did not like the attention from the cops or dumb kids that car got. Never will own a older Honda again for those reasons.

    I went from Hondas to my ZJ. More specifically I went from my EK hatch to my ZJ. EG Hondas (92-95) are the ones from Fast and Furious, EK (06-00) are the ones im more partial to.

    Engine that blows up most the time the Triton V10 even with the Terran cylinders that has less horsepower than a 302 R350 PA because the Piston size is smaller

    I used to be the same way but I now own a 2007 Honda Oddesey because family and it's actually pretty nice lol. I'm still a Ford and Oldsmobile guy threw and threw tho lol

      I know they are good for what they do, but they aren't for me. I have no use for front wheel drive or four cylinders which are pretty much what Honda and Toyota are known for. Also - and I know it is nonsensical given that vehicles are made all over the globe - I have a strong loyalty to the big three. As a last point, my whole life people have been cramming down my throat how reliable Japanese cars are and that has just not been my experience. This is especially true of Toyota. The ones I work on are just as cheap and prone to issues as anything else. I mean no disrespect for those that are into Hondas, but I enjoy poking fun at imports when given the opportunity

I was always into the Trucks and cars with V8 and 4wheel drive or rear wheel drive lol. But I got sick of working on my daily drivers daily almost due to the red locktight issue and weight reduction. We got 2 great deals on the main cars we got my wife's 2019 Ford Escape Turbo 4bandger and my daily the 2007 Honda Oddesey van V6. I still have my worn out 2000 Silverado winter beater and my 77 Oldsmobile. I am right there with ya most the time but to me dodge sucks

    88 i think was the first year of the EFI stuff, IIRC (was for dodges and fords anyhow), so the quadrajet on that truck makes sense.

      Yea, Allentown is by far the worst, but the closest to our house. Pennsburg isnt bad and Hazleton is (I think) where all the good cars go)

The place looks like Allentown, A F'N MESS & if you go there & it has snow on the ground, LMFAO. Just might as well break your arm or leg in your car door before you go in.
