    Impressive mobile tool collection. I really like the cargo carrier, I call mine a Deer Sled and have had it for almost 20 years. It has been worth its weight in gold many times. Thanks for posting and sharing.

    nothing wrong with having beer as long as it doesn't affect your work . i myself smoke while turning wrenches and never had a comeback

      Thanks for the comment Tim! You’re right, but like everything, there’s a balance. Some guys will take things too far and if they’re 1 (or 8)beers in they become a liability.

    A hand style impact driver is a great tool for junkyard work.
    Not the power tool, the kind you hit with a hammer.
    Really good setup. Nice.

    • @beerwrenchgarage
      @beerwrenchgarage  2 года назад +2

      Are you talking about the kind that you bang on the back with a hammer? Yeah, good point, thats a nice small, effective, old school tool to have. Thanks for the comment!

    • @joshuajones8505
      @joshuajones8505 2 года назад +1

      @@beerwrenchgarage
      Yes. That's the kind I was talking about.
      Actually after I made the comment, I went and ordered some Vessel screwdrivers that have a steel cap on the end of the hammer.
      When you strike it it makes a rotational motion and impacts the same time.
      I have one of the impact driver sets with bits. Plus is is a 1/2" drive, so I can put sockets on it too.
      But I ordered the screwdrivers. I thought they'd be great.

    I forgot to mention, but I also had the same carrying case, but ultimately had to retire it after 1yr of use. Our salvage yards utilized large lime stone for their base, which is very difficult to traverse. The hard plastic wheels did not prevent enough vibration, which resulted in a failure of the slides for the drawers. Other than that, it worked out very well, and would buy another if they improved the durability....fyi, I had the HART version...

    • @beerwrenchgarage
      @beerwrenchgarage  Год назад

      Thanks James! Love your channel. What state are you in? I think Hart is the Walmart brand if Im not mistaken? The one I have in this video is made by Keter - which in my experience is pretty dog gone sturdy. Thanks again for the comment! Keep up the good work on your channel!.

    • @MidwestToolReview
      @MidwestToolReview Год назад +1

      @@beerwrenchgarage I'm in Indiana, specifically Fort Wayne if you've ever heard of it. I've seen several brands that are very similar to the Hart version; my guess is, they're made by the same Chinese or Taiwanese plant, but distributed out under several brand names. Our yards here are just too brutal for anything without rubberized and/or pneumatic wheels.

    • @beerwrenchgarage
      @beerwrenchgarage  Год назад +1

      @@MidwestToolReview Yes Sir - you are correct. Many of these tools are manufactured in the same overseas factory and stamped with different brands. And yes, I have heard of Ft. Wayne. Thanks for the comment - glad to hear your thoughts - hope you keep viewing my channel.

    Blue point / snap on and Matco stuff is great but if the tool trk drivers don’t come by they are just over priced versions of what you got that you still have to replace or fix when they break. I’ve replaced the ratcheting mechanism in my blue point 1/2” ratchet with parts I got off eBay. So much for the worthless lifetime guarantee. If I want tools with a warranty o go to to Home Depot or lowes.

    • @beerwrenchgarage
      @beerwrenchgarage  2 года назад

      Thanks for the comment Matthew. You got a good point, however, I've also had the opposite experience - where I emailed Snap On to warranty a broken ratchet and they sent me a repair kit for free with no questions asked. But you are right - I think the tool truck is becoming a relic of the past.

    • @beerwrenchgarage
      @beerwrenchgarage  2 года назад

      Thanks for the comment Jason - you are 100% right - there are some tools that do the job for 1/10 or 1/20 the price of the 'truck brands'. For almost every application there is also a quality mid brand that is almost as good as the truck brand and still a fraction of the cost.

    • @beerwrenchgarage

      Awesome! I seem to have the opposite luck: I’ll spend a long time getting to a part I need and then find one last fastener that I don’t have quite the right tool for.
