Yea funny story me and my cousin opened a speed shop in 2009 with only my Craftsman tool set and he bought all snap on and matco and I still have had less broken tools and had mine 10 years longer than him still lifetime warranty if something does happen so best investment I ever made and still his worst he says haha wishes he saved 20-25k and stayed away from paying for a name the impacts piss him off Alot too our Milwaukee stuff is way better than our snap on impacts but to each his own whatever .makes you happy or you think is necessary is all that matters

The biggest handheld torque wrench I have ever seen was 1100ftlbs. Was used at a shipyard. We called it Excalibur. It was over 4 feet long before putting the extension on it.

If I had to guess, I'd say Excalibur was likely a 40s or 50s era tool based on the design.

Occasionally you will find poor quality or cheaply made stuff from Taiwan but they don’t really do that, why make cheap trash when you can make quality and get top dollar for it? China is the opposite, they can’t get top dollar so they make trash and occasionally you get a manufacturer who wants to make quality products. Separate sae from mm left and right sides of the boxes and put the tool stickers on magnets so if you move that set to a different spot you can grab that sticker on the magnet and move it as well
