B’sRACING Ben Bonfield Perranporth Sprint June 2021 Jedi Racing Cars mk4 Suzuki GSXS-R1000

This weekend was one of the most difficult weekends I’ve had for a very long time it started all on Friday when the tow vehicle electrics failed on the van. It meant taking all the bedding out of the caravan and turning the van into a makeshift camper. Saturday morning a misfire which we had thought was cured came back in first practice. It disappeared for the first two timed runs but returned with a vengeance on the last one. Managed to put in a 63s run notching up a second overall which was remarkable as we put a set of 5 year old @avontyresuk A92 front slicks and I believe that there was a fair amount more time to gain in there had we not suffered issues. Will save Sunday’s report for a separate post as there will be a lot to talk about. Our new Fragile Racing carbon fibre front wings working fantastically well and the car was hanging on so well through the corners even with the flaps set on the lowest setting. Fantastic event put on by @trurodmc I’m certainly looking forward to coming back later in the year and pushing harder. Photo @motorsports569
