Busy weekend first kicked off with Llandow on the Saturday. The weather was a real mixed bag with it raining one minute and then sun shining the next. I’m not sure we’ve ever done so many tyre changes. It was good to go back after 6 years away, the first visit with the Jedi and there is still definitely loads more to find. We ran the car a bit too soft with the front endplates and bargeboards all suffering a bit of road rash. The old tyres held on well enough that in the faster corners where we were soft it kept pulling the right rear off the ground and overcoming the diff. Sadly it meant we weren’t carrying as much speed down the straights as we could. Something for next time and we look forward to a return. Well done to the organising team and the marshals for a fantastic event in the very challenging day.
This was the 1st timed run from the day. The later runs felt better but weren’t as grippy due to track conditions.
