This is awesome. He did an amazing job. I will now follow him as well. I am so happy to learn about not cleaning with bleach. I LOVE BLEACH!!! As a nurse I clean with bleach a lot because I know how well it kills bacteria. However, now that you told us about it killing off the good bacteria that breaks down the waste, that is very logical. Thanks for being that to my attention.
Great ideas on upgrades. We are disabled and only travel on a limited schedule. We have a TT and changing out the stove-oven for an induction cooktop is an idea I have considered. After watching this video and having a new kitten to travel with, makes an even better solution to a couple of issues we will face. I am a new subscriber and love your calm voice. Steve
If & when i can replace my rig the first thing I'm gonna do is pull the microwace & put in a EL 360. I'd want the oven but i have the portable stove/oven combo, and gotta have my smoker lol Do more boondocking than campgrounds. So for now it's glampcamp with my tent.
I've just started living in my 2014 Keystone Premiere. I don't travel, so I have my own issues. I live in my son's yard. We use a rhino tote to take my black tank stuff to his sewage line. The plan is a composting toilet soon!! After watching your stove redo, I'm going to look at mine to somehow put in a microwave like yours. That'll be great!! So, you've inspired one person and I'm sure there are more.
I converted the coat closet into a bulk food pantry. I put in support 2X4's and bought heavy shelving boards. Cut them to size. I put in 1 small height shelf for soups, and canned meats. The top shelf is tall for large Tupperware type canisters for elbow macaroni, rice, barley, spaghetti noodles, wide noodles, instant potatoes, powdered milk, bouillon cubes, flour, sugar, salt, corn starch, baking soda. The lowest shelf holds a small trash can for the dogs dry food, plus a place to put her bulk treats & cases of canned wet food. The big box of garbage bags, and other bulk items. On top of the microwave I keep the paper plates & paper bowls, and plastic cutlery, and solo cups. Above the drivers compartment. Is th he bulk paper towels case, and case of toilet paper too. The patio tables, lawn chairs, outdoor cooking prep table. The 12 volt fans & portable winter heaters. Right now my grandkids Christmas presents. Things are tucked in every corner for off grid mobile life.
We have been in our 2013 Tiffin allegro open road red a year in January. Actually we love it the way it is so far. We pretty much 10 months out of the year selling Tupperware and have had lots of luck with storing what we have needed. Definitely want to upgrade most of our lights or get rid of those on the walls. They give no light at all. Can use wall space for pictures. Valances have to go throughout. So still dreaming but for the most part it has worked for us and our work.
I love your storage solution videos...they're always helpful. We have a Thor Compass (small class B+) and I need to get creative with storage. I've gotten some great ideas from you! Fridge storage is my biggest issue since we have the combo fridge/freezer. Maybe you can do a video on how to pack the fridge/freezer, if you haven't already. :)
I love the video and the information is just what I was looking for. Just one suggestion; if you would film lower allowing (instead of waist up) us to get the bigger picture of the new cabinet and organizer drawers. So more filming below the waist in this video would be more helpful.
You forgot to add your links 😉 We live in a 2008 class a and have done numerous add ons and take outs and this week we are doing our largest project. Removing a couch and extending our kitchen. I’m so excited.
My wife and I have watched several of you videos! Love your calming voice, you should read books for books on tape as a side hustle…Also, Great Mod! I love the gained storage space. We are subscribers 49,3??
If you haven't bought an airfryer... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?... I bought one on a lark during black Friday Walmart. I was only in the store because my g'son had birthday$$$ to spend. Don't usually go anywhere on black Friday, especially Walmart gahhhhh. Anyway there I was bored and annoyed in the hotwheels department when I spotted a AIRFRYER for $46. My four slice toaster cost more 5-6yrs ago. For that money it was crazy not to buy one. So I did, for my daughter for xmas. Then I went back and bought for myself. I've been testing it (planning on heading out spring 2022 in nonconverted, unconverted Kia van for fun) ever since for every meal imaginable. Also have an instantpot but only used it once since. Just get a springform pan that fits the basket for those small pieces not to fall through the screen. Best meal so far.... *Fried rice with leftover Frozen rotisserie chicken (fry onions etc in the springform pan then veg, then chicken, then spices) *Perogies with smokies and onions *Pizza buns *Tuna melts *Prawns (yum) I figure I can survive with just a one burner induction and air fryer. Need to boil water for pasta and hard boiled eggs .... The one thing I haven't tried in it is basted eggs. Only because it's easier on the stove. You should Get one. 👍🇨🇦
Used next to no oil in any cooking. Just to fry up onions etc with a squirt. ... Just a squirt for egg rolls & perogies (home made & frozen). It's a miracle appliance for sure.
We have an instapot also and want to find some great recipes for cooking in it. Its been mostly a rice cooker. LOL. Do you have a go-to source for insta-recipes? I'm also interested in RV life without huge propane tanks. What is running electric now and what is propane still? How does it fair for boondocking?
Only the furnace for heat and *optional* hot water is propane (we can use electric for hot water and NOT propane if we want). As far as boondocking and cooking, we will need to run the generator when using appliances like the induction cook too or instant pot for now. We are looking to upgrade our battery bank to handle more of a load for the appliances while boondocking.
Looks great. Im going to start working on my 2005 TT in 2022 your an inspiration. Tell me please I hear older trailers are not always allowed in some places. What have you seen
We have never had an issue with our 04. It’s in nice shape. Sometimes you can call and send them a picture if they are questioning it and they will let you in. It’s typically never an issue to worry about though.
The california law specifically refers to new equipment, and the sale therre of. So old equipment is "grandfathered in" and would not be banned from use.
This series is so particularly helpful to me as I’m learning to do this stuff totally on my own with almost no resources; so thank you so much! I live in my travel trailer full time and find the propane stove is waste of space and seems to use so much propane anyway. I fully intend to remove mine thanks to your inspiration, but may I ask what this cost approximately? I know that’s a very personal question, I asked my mobile rv guy and he said it was not such a good idea and that it would be cost prohibitive. But it doesn’t seem like it would be exorbitant costs. I also understand if you’d rather not share that info too. Did you also have to consider how you’d cook if you don’t have access to power? I presume I’ll mostly cook outdoors anyway, but those days where it’s raining or too windy when you’re boondocking or something. What will you do in this situations? Oh and I only have a microwave and not a convection oven, though I may upgrade that too but I’m not sure about the power issues. Anyway, thanks so much for all of your work and information!

I was hoping that was what you did. You sure had a lot of hair, lucky kids Thank you, so thoughtful and kind
Taking that big tv box out made a big difference. Opening up that space!! Yeah!!

I’m still in the dream stage looking at what is going to be the right fit for me a single traveler and saving up money too.

I really love your cooktop! I had been avoiding the stove whenever possible so I am really leaning towards an induction cooktop. Thank you!
Thanks for watching

The cooktop looks great! Good luck as you continue to renovate!
Thank you!
Nice cooktop install.
Thanks!
I'm in the accumulation stage as in power cords, surge suppressor etc, and essential to have in my future class B conversion van Lord willing.
It's pretty cool you document your journey. I tried just videoing myself not even uploading it and I find it nearly impossible.
Absolutely genius!
Your amazing!! I wish I was as organized and logical as you are! I tend to over do it on stuff! I hope to be more like you are
Thanks for the compliment
Gained a crap ton of storage thats awesome cant wait to see whats next
The renovation looks amazing … along with your haircut! Looking forward to hearing how it works for you on the road.
Thanks!

Sounds like a great project! The links are there but on mobile you have to click the down arrow.
So I noticed your awesome hair cut ...you look great!!!
Thanks! I donated it to an organization that makes wigs for kids with hair loss 😃
Great Renovation
Recently sold our 2003 American Eagle and bought a 2006 Monaco Dynasty. The Eagle actually had more storage than the Dynasty.
We love the whole Fleetwood family line (including the American Eagle, dream, etc).
Love the new haircut!
Thank you! I donated 12 inches of hair to an organization that makes wigs for kids with hair loss
You might want to put your spices in front of your silverware.

are you planning to ditch the coffee maker altogether, or have you come up with a replacement method to the drip coffee maker above the dinette?
We will go with a drip coffee make that will sit on the counter
Love the updates 👌 ❤

Thanks so much!
Waiting to see what happens to the coffee maker… ☕️
