Please let me know in the comment section below: What car was a surprise for you and from which one you've expected more? - Авто/Мото
This channel is seriously underrated ! RUclips should recommend it more ! I know how much hardwork is put into making these videos ! Amazing job! Greetings from Türkiye!
It's very difficult for RUclips to recommend good quality channels, especially if they're outside the USA.
But you can find tons of utter garbage from everywhere...! 🤣
cars that impressed me was Mitsubishi outlander, Kia Sorrento, hyundai Santa fe
just watch mitsubishi pajero sport
They were all newer than the others too.
@@bekirsivri80 haha thats not the same category. This is soccer mom SUV test
Santa Fe and Sorento never disappoint me~ great job!
Even my 2WD Kia Optima has never let me down on snowy terrain, tbh. It's impressive how their traction control system works
Hyundai owns Kia so they have very similar all-wheel-drive systems
"Lovers of ideal condition should close this video" 🤣🤣
I like you enjoy this joke ;-)
I'd like to see exreme muddy conditions
Outlander owner here 💪
I love this channel. Straight to the point and a lot of cars tested
What is you favorite car in this video?
@@SUVBattlemit outlander
Surprised by the small mitsubishi ..its cheaper than hyundai kia fords and many others..and performed really really well
It's almost as if Toyota deliberately handicapped the Highlander traction control system in order to sell the more expensive Prado/4Runner.
Great content as always!
Absolutely true. They are great game players. Thats why they reduce space inside to sell sequoia. AWD game is same like you said. Now when youtubers try to show their awd in capability then they tie up with Subaru to make it better. 2021 highlander is little bit more capable.
but who is going off road in a highlander though? my wife has an 18' highlander xle and i have an 18' 4runner trd off road which we can go exploring in. even if i didn't have a 4runner, i never thought of off roading my wifes highlander and hers is AWD.
That means if you opt for Toyota, u need to buy onroad & offroad suv?🙄🙄
@@gardenst4398 It’s called buying what you want to buy. It’s a pretty basic concept when you have a free will to buy any vehicle you want. Pretty brilliant.
The 2nd gen Highlanders are a little bit better than the 3rd gen (one used in this video) they’re a constant 50/50 split power front rear, not a sort of slip and grip
Damn I didn't know the Santa Fe was that strong 😶😶😍
it isn't about strength, the ESP programming is very good.
Hyundai looks nice, good build quality and performance
I drive a 2018 2.4L santafe sport AWD and its absolutely amazing for everyday driving smooth and really fun.
@@YxdGarde we just got a santa fe 2020 recently but it's diesel and 7str and also 4wd. I didn't know really stable it was until I watched this
Considering the fact that the participating Santa Fe is only a 2.4 naturally aspirated engine. Amazing HTRAC AWD by Hyundai. Got a 2.0Turbo Santa Fe and it’s loving the snow
I drive a 2018 2.4L santafe sport AWD and its absolutely amazing for everyday driving smooth and really fun, i would really appreciate it if you use it in other conditions in future videos.
Chevy shook & clattered like it was gonna blow up! That was hilarious!
It’s not called a Craptiva for nothing...
Great job trying to eliminate as many differences as possible and the narration is on point! Excellent video once again!
this channel is criminally underrated.😞
Great thanks for your feedback! What cars would you like to see in the future videos?
@@SUVBattle I like range rover...so anyone from them would make me happy
@@SUVBattle A video idea if you have some free time, You guys can 'review' individual suvs and give thoughts on thier offroad capablity and mechanical reliablity over the years. Can talk about things like how good is thier traction control, how much can it flex to make sure all wheels are touching ground etc
Also get a tyre sponsor for that sweet sweet cash $$$
True
@@SUVBattle more older like 90s please
The Santafe is extraodinary supprising. What a great video.
I’m glad that you liked the video. Any specific cars you would like to see in upcoming video?
Most underrated channel on yt. Keep up the fantastic work!
Also, is the compact SUV one thats coming the one you advertised to show that little Dacia Duster brawler?
Dacia Duster is already available at the channel. You can find it in this video: ruclips.net/video/cvVmKHjoNbo/видео.html
It was a silly decision for Hyundai/Kia to put a DCT in the new Sorento and Sante Fe. These ones with the automatic are very capable off-road.
The Santa Fe has a convential 8 speed. The tuscon uses dct.
I think only the turbo engines are mated to DCT, 2.5 motor is 8 speed auto.
The 2.5 Turbo and the 2.2 Diesel both use a dual clutch in the newest versions of the Sorento and Sante Fe.
@@samuelwarren3306 But non turbo 2.5 does not.
@@ThisGuyRides True, regardless I think Hyundai should have just used the 8 speed automatic in all Sante Fe/Sorento models.
Mitsubishi legendary awd ftw
One of my favorite channels in youtube keep it up guys love your work
Thanx for watching!
@@SUVBattle one of my favourite also. Small suggestion if it is possible of course.
*I personally would like to see much more PHEV's, HEV's, BEV's, REEV's, MHEV's etc..*
wooooooow. . . . .what a performance from all participants. Thanks again for your informative narrative. Your viewer all the way from South Africa
Your reviews are the best. Very informative, best channel ever. Thumbs up!
Outlander did very good. Kia and Hyundai were also impressive. I'd also be interested in seeing more tests where tire isn't as much of a factor.
I completely agree with you. The same tires will add objectivity. But since I do not have a car tire factory, we work with what we have. At the moment, we are checking that the tire pressure corresponds to the factory values (for each car individually).
@@SUVBattle me too
Mitsubishi outlander de best!
Nope .Hyundai and Kia are the bests and beasts.
@@jungking4033 did not see the performance of Mitsubishi outlander? Mitsubishi has best 4WD system of all brands.
Amazed at how Hyundai performed..
Right? I was shocked at how well it performed and held up during this test!
Y are you prejudiced? Hyundai/ kia are in the shortlist for any buyer these days
Cool video! Unpleasantly surprised with the Hilander and Tribeca and very pleasantly surprised with the Outlander and Santa Fe/Sorento.
Tires makes such a huge difference!!
I completely agree with you. But these are private or dealership cars, so it is not possible to replace tires. The budget and time also do not allow for this. But we will do such a test in the future.
Mitsubishi killing it with their AWD system
Thank you for these awesome videos bro we appreciate you hard work

I'm amaze about how good the traction on the Kia/Hyundai very easy i like to see them in a more difficult condition to see how it perform. I love your vids, I'm from Panama🇵🇦
Yes Those are from the recently dazzling shinng Great South Korea
The First generation Sorento is even tougher off-road
Great Test of SUVs. Fair, intelligent and objective!👍
It's all about tires in the snow, and a good traction control system. Awesome video, once again I enjoy your work! :)

I have the 2012 santa fé 3.5, and I can say it for sure that my car never did let me down, I don't have snow here in Brasil, but I do have rain, dirt roads, mud, drizzly, sand, etc, I've being through it all, and even though I'm not more than an average off road driver (at best) , I still managed to never get stuck.
Excellent work....no other channels do this comparison....We need more such videos...new suvs👏👏👏👏
Unfortunately, it takes couple weeks to make a video. So that I upload video once per month. But, perhaps, the team would be bigger and I will be able to do it more often.
@@SUVBattle yes I know, it takes hell lot of time....Please include Ford Explorer, Expedition, VW Terramont, Tiguan, Volvo, Audi Q7, Pilot etc to see how Haldex AWD works in such tricky terrain. Ford too has best AWD. I have driven VW Terramont @140 km/h in snow on highway & it feels rock solid stable! Japanese have horrible AWD except Subaru & Honda. Please include new suv as the old awd clutch may undergo wear or new revisions or versions is better like Haldex gen 5 is better than old one.
Love your videos, please upload more!
Mitsubishi surprised me the most in a good way but I expected better performance from the Toyota
Mitsubishi always doin great in a camparo like this!😅 only USA treat mitsubishi as garbage, US market sleeping on this brand for a long time..😅

Great videos, so before buying skoda Kodiaq In the uk....We test drive many versions from1.4 to 1.5 2.0 150bhp front wheel drive petrol and diesel only too and 4 wheel drive. 7 seats. Auto
We bought 1.5 petrol front wheeldrive to go off road and farm land Halloween pumpkin picking. Found it extremely Exciting and easy to drive in bad conditions with 7 people inside and snow conditions foot high snow with winter tyres.... So you don't really need 4 wheel drive we notice.
2 years now and still very comfortable quick car.

Naks, what an eye opener from these video! I'm from tropical country, so I don't worry much about the specific usage of tires until now. But since this video was taken during winter, so the tires used must be for icy roads. And judging the video, from zero to 12:39, Korean made cars have it conquered easily, but Japanese made ones, encountered difficulties in moving on the obstacles.
And this Ford Explorer, at 17:58, hardly made out of the obstacle, well, it's very sad. But one thing I knew, these compact SUV, is being recalled according to a Chief Mechanic I was talking, while watching the Explorer towed by another vehicle to the dealer's own shop.
Another Great video!

Great channel, am sure it will grow. Would prefer the main host (Deus, spelling?) to still do the commentary - gives it more identity and character.
That Hyundai Santa Fe looks like the 2.0 T model not the 2.4 NA mentioned in th video. I thought those wheels only came on the turbo model. I have a 2020 Santa Fe 2.0 T model and love it so far.
Features and specification vary from country. I believe these are Kazakhstan delivered vehicles and would differ in specification depending on where you're from.

great vid. Do you have any tests using the 2010-12 Toyota RAV4?

The Outlander PHEV (Plug-In-Hybrid) also has an electronic center locking differential, due to using a dual motor setup. They have a button on the center console for that. The computer just needs to match the RPM of both the front and rear electric motors to behave like a mechanical locking diff would.
(At least on the 2016 model that my parents drive - I haven't come across the newer versions yet)
Could you possibly test a 2010 Highlander (2nd gen). I believe traction control and AWD is much better for that model year.
Good test, I like when tester know what they are doing and saying

"In the next video" you showed Kia-Sportage, Hyundai-Tusson, Japanese Rav4, etc.. However I couldn't find this video in your playlist. Could you write the link in reply?
The Santa Fe did quite well, I think that the 2.2 CRDI would have been better for this. I'm disappointed in the Captiva, it might be old but the ESP seems too weak, and I don't think that if it had a diesel engine it would have fared any better. The Pilot has too much wheelspin but its age is surely playing against it and the tires seemed to have poor grip. The Kodiac seems to have the best traction control though it's a bit aggressive and that could lead to damage. I'm looking forward to your next video and a rematch on dry ground!!
