In my opinion Lucas was the most interesting character in the whole game. He had a great design, and they even gave us informations on his childhood. Also his molden form was the creepiest , the way he ran at you and the fact you had to end the fight quickly ( because you don't get a lot of oxygene during the fight ) made everything so awesome !
He was a very good and original villain. He's the true antagonist in the game in my opinion. The reason I think that is because he was already evil before eveline arrived, he trapped an elementary school bully in the attic for him to die of starvation, and he shows little to no love for his family at all. The whole game he is not infected by eveline, he has her gift but everything he did was all him and had nothing to do with eveline. Plus when eveline died, he created stronger molded that could only be killed with certain powerful ammunition. Plus he seems to know how to use his molded powers in battle way better than eveline and she gave him his powers.
Eveline is a total joke compared to Lucas. Her “boss battle” requires no strategy, it shows she is nothing in battle. Lucas on the other hand is much more evil, his face off against Chris has much more build up and his final boss battle tests your skills to the max like a final boss should.
Such an epic DLC. Chris is such a badass here. Why did they change him so much to a generic scumbag in Village? Makes no sense. He is so cool and awesome in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Hunting down Lucas is one of the best parts of 7 and playing as a boulder punching epic beast Chris is just icing on the cake. Village is nothing like this masterpiece. Lucas is a ruthless, sadistic, crazed and a twisted coward but he is one intelligent, cunning, clever, brutal and a smart villain. Always one step ahead of you. It is more fun fighting him than Jack. I was actually getting really tired of fighting Jack over and over again. This is better than all of the previous boss fights combined together. Feels like the climax and perfect aftermath of the entire game.
