“your funeral”, ethan using heisenberg’s own line against him right before killing him is up there as one of the most badass moments ive seen in resident evil
Heisenberg is the REAL lord of this game his design , character , personality , is just so fucking awesome like he really could’ve been a villain who we have a alliance with. If he didn’t mention rose I strongly believe him and Ethan would’ve killed Miranda together.
Yep, he sure is the real deal. But I want to put equal blame to Ethan since he could’ve bargained with Heisenberg instead of flipping out right away. I’m already on my 2nd playthrough and eventhough he didn’t make it in any way, shape or form easy, Heisenberg had been true to his word when he decided to offer Ethan some help.

Similar to how many German pronunciations for words are like, the c being similar to an s. I say this learning the German language, it's not native for me so maybe I'm wrong but from what I am learning that seems to be how it works. Then again, Neil is also just a genius-
Same. This was the first time in a VERY long time I enjoyed a new Resident Evil character as much as him. All his cut scenes and dialogue was so much fun to take in. I hope in any DLC he appears in whatever the DLC is. Bravo Capcom on this character.

To be fair, Miranda got nerfed by an ultrapowerful baby sapping her strength, with a Chris and BSAA assist. It probably would've taken more than a pistol if Rose had turned into Eve or gotten absorbed by Miranda or w/e, and the others hadn't been there.
Also Ethan was literally missing his heart 😂 😂 😂 And I don't think being "tired" is a thing in these games but man's been fighting all day and running around the whole village back and forth (OK maybe I back and forth alot ☠ ☠) three bosses, one boss who we should have had a choice to be allies with (I'm super mad about not having a choice to join him) and one side quest "boss" (evil santa 😂) that makes four and... A half? Not to mention the lycans, Fenrir looking guys, the Dimitriscu daughters, the metal army, Strum (that's propeller guy, the one Heisenberg told to "shut your hole" and tossed Ethan to when he refused the alliance), creepy baby... Like.... ☠ ☠ ☠ Damn bitch Miranda fought us at 15% lol and it was probably less than that 😂 😂 😂 😂

Dimitrescu's Theme: A very imponent and absolutist theme filled with drama and suspense, using mostly church bells, drums and strings, a representarion of Lady Dimitrescu's overwelming power, wrath and maddness, it has lots of "You'll wish you didn't make me come this far" vibes. Donna and Angie's Theme: A creepy and suspenseful theme, filled with unnerving noises, with playful children laughing and singing in the background, hinting about Donna's broken and childish mind, the sound get's distortioned a lot, a giveaway that maybe you're going through hallucinations, pretty REAL hallucinations. Moreau's Theme: A very primal song packed with energy and swampy vibes, using lots of dramatic percussion, the overall theme makes you think about Moreau's hideous and abominable nature, however, the percussion's persistence could be hinting about Moreau's undying determination of proving himself to his Mother, prove he's worthy. Heisenberg's Theme: YO SKRILLEX TURN THAT SHIT UP BOI, WE'RE GOING MENTAL OVER HERE

No ..... i mean heisenberg deserve too live , he only want to be free of miranda and ethan killed him . That´s not good , i really wanted a friendship beetween ethan and heisenberg . My version off final fight would be a fight with heisenberg assist for the fist part of the battle and they will die each other with heart ripped by miranda . Of course heisenberg would survive with the mutamycete but he doesn´t know that ethan have died before and his body was mold . So he will go to kill with anger miranda because ethan is dead . The second part was ethan returns off dead and together with heisenberg and chris, kill miranda and both will be alive with rose . Then they will destroy the village and the megamycete . That could be an alternate ending like capcom did at the re7 game with the choice system and that can be reproducted with the bad ending (rose is dead in my ending ) or good ending (the actual one ) .

They scrapped a good portion of what could have been durimg the chris portion if i remember right originally it was supposed to be a 3 way battle or 4 battle with chris the BSAA heisenbergs minions and the lyncans
In VR the fight is absolutely INSANE and hair raising I’ve never had a boss fight so immersive and badass. With all the rain, music and constant bullet spitting it’s so so so good
Imagine if Heisenberg finished creating his army and during the Chris section, launched a full on war against Miranda, therefore leading to a 4 way conflict of Chris Redfield and Blue Umbrella - Miranda and her lycans - Heisenberg and his metal army... and eventually Ethan Winters on a 1-man warpath against Miranda.

As awesome as heisenburg was as a character and as cool as his boss was, I think we can all agree it’d have been cool to fight him one on one as a human before he mutated. The man has a hammer the first time we see him and we never fight against him!
The moment I drove the vehicle out, saw a huge storm raging and the colossal Heisenberg leaping toward me, I realized this was my favorite moment of the entire game. This music made it even more epic.
Hands down my favourite character of the entire Resident Evil franchise, I might not be too involved with the games, but bro I was so excited going into that area knowing you get to talk with Heisenberg one on one. Before the conversation I didn't like him that much, but after it only got better and better! The area, the character, the theme, the fight! So many things I love about him!
This perfectly fits the anger, resentment, and power of Heisenberg, He didn't want to kill you, but Ethan forced his hand, you're just another obstacle like he sees Miranda as now, and he already knows exactly how he wants to destroy you, in a splendorous yet gruesome sight of man and machine coexisting as one. makes for one hell of a penultimate boss.
Besides Lady Dimitrescu, I for sure liked Heisenberg far more as a Resident Evil Village villain, I just wish we had more time with him and could explore more of his character...
In my opinion the Battle with Heisenberg Is the saddest in all the game. Heisenberg could have been an ally, of only he didn't want to use and innocent child, but I Guess that desperation really transforms you in a sad, unhuman creature. Rip Heisenberg.
What I really like about Heisenberg is that he didn't even want to kill Ethan at first, even after Ethan refused to join him. He transforms into his monster form and makes Ethan fall into water while yelling at him "Don't come back!" He gave Ethan the chance to just leave. Imagine Ethan had done that and went straight to Mother Miranda afterwards and Heisenberg just so happens to be there as well, with his army. Joining forces, even relucantly, still could have been a possibility. Ethan already had put all the flasks into that ritual stone thingy. He could have just left, like mutated Heisenberg had told him. So yeah, I agree with everyone. It's a shame we didn't get the chance to join forces with him. He is so awesome. I don't want him to be dead!
Heisenberg's factory and introduction scene were just absolute perfection. Easily two of my favorite parts of this game. He was so intimidating and just a badass and a cool character overall. Neil Newbon did such a fantastic voice work for this person. I loved his personality so damn much and wanted him to team up with Ethan at the end. They would of been an awesome duo!
The fact that you mount a tank to have a machine-gun duel with a like five story tall robot in this game, and it's taken 100 percent seriously, and doesn't really feel out of place nor cheesy or anything like that, is among the biggest video game writing achievements I've seen this decade, for real. Superb story and writing in this game. Gameplay was okay, but man the writing and storytelling was fantastic. "machine gunning a huge robot while a skrillex sounding song plays" NOT being a RE6-style "okay this is a bit much" moment is impressive.

Yea whether or not him an Heisenberg would’ve completed the task Ethan refused to trust nor let his daughter be used. Which is why he killed Heisenberg.
After learning more about Heisenberg I realized he's not the bad guy after all. I agree with everyone with the comments, it is unfortunately that Ethan refused his offer tho I understand Ethan's point of view about using Rose as a weapon against Miranda. The only thing this game is missing is a player should've been given you a choice to witness the different outcomes of the story like they did with RE7.
“I NEED MORE!!! MORE!!!” Playing this in VR has officially made his fight top everything I’ve ever done in combination with his character in general. Was so damn hair raising.
*"Missed me, Missed me! Now i gotta kill ya~!"* Heisenberg was SUCH an interesting character in RE8, i hope we'll get to see him more in the upcoming DLC (I know it'll will be a long while till then, but still very excited for it). Either way, i loved Karl. His factory and boss fight was incredibly fun to go through, it had to be one of my favorite parts in the entire game.
This is entirely unrelated to Resident Evil but I listened to this while washing the dishes and wow that was the most intense dish washing session I have ever had in my life.
Karl Heisenberg is for me, a villain with much potential, with the excuse of being a "freedom fighter", he could be as dangerous as Wesker making a pandemic or BOW even more dangerous stuff, he should be in another RE saga but as the main villain.
It's crazy to think of the amount of variation Capcom had with his character! I love him already but the other ideas they had with his Father being the leader of the Village and Karl being a twin would have gave his arc so much more depth!
I'll admit. I didn't really notice this during the boss battle. That area was pretty loud with the shouting and gunfire. Glad I got to listen to this as a stand alone.

Hands down my favourite character of the entire Resident Evil franchise, I might not be too involved with the games, but bro I was so excited going into that area knowing you get to talk with Heisenberg one on one. Before the conversation I didn't like him that much, but after it only got better and better! The area, the character, the theme, the fight! So many things I love about him!
This perfectly fits the anger, resentment, and power of Heisenberg, He didn't want to kill you, but Ethan forced his hand, you're just another obstacle like he sees Miranda as now, and he already knows exactly how he wants to destroy you, in a splendorous yet gruesome sight of man and machine coexisting as one. makes for one hell of a penultimate boss.

In my opinion the Battle with Heisenberg Is the saddest in all the game. Heisenberg could have been an ally, of only he didn't want to use and innocent child, but I Guess that desperation really transforms you in a sad, unhuman creature. Rip Heisenberg.

What I really like about Heisenberg is that he didn't even want to kill Ethan at first, even after Ethan refused to join him. He transforms into his monster form and makes Ethan fall into water while yelling at him "Don't come back!" He gave Ethan the chance to just leave. Imagine Ethan had done that and went straight to Mother Miranda afterwards and Heisenberg just so happens to be there as well, with his army. Joining forces, even relucantly, still could have been a possibility. Ethan already had put all the flasks into that ritual stone thingy. He could have just left, like mutated Heisenberg had told him. So yeah, I agree with everyone. It's a shame we didn't get the chance to join forces with him. He is so awesome. I don't want him to be dead!

Heisenberg's factory and introduction scene were just absolute perfection. Easily two of my favorite parts of this game. He was so intimidating and just a badass and a cool character overall. Neil Newbon did such a fantastic voice work for this person. I loved his personality so damn much and wanted him to team up with Ethan at the end. They would of been an awesome duo!
The fact that you mount a tank to have a machine-gun duel with a like five story tall robot in this game, and it's taken 100 percent seriously, and doesn't really feel out of place nor cheesy or anything like that, is among the biggest video game writing achievements I've seen this decade, for real. Superb story and writing in this game. Gameplay was okay, but man the writing and storytelling was fantastic. "machine gunning a huge robot while a skrillex sounding song plays" NOT being a RE6-style "okay this is a bit much" moment is impressive.

After learning more about Heisenberg I realized he's not the bad guy after all. I agree with everyone with the comments, it is unfortunately that Ethan refused his offer tho I understand Ethan's point of view about using Rose as a weapon against Miranda. The only thing this game is missing is a player should've been given you a choice to witness the different outcomes of the story like they did with RE7.

I really hope we get DLC gor this game that shows more of Lady D and Heisenberg in some way, but mainly Heisenberg since he is my favorite

Heisenberg was SUCH an interesting character in RE8, i hope we'll get to see him more in the upcoming DLC (I know it'll will be a long while till then, but still very excited for it). Either way, i loved Karl. His factory and boss fight was incredibly fun to go through, it had to be one of my favorite parts in the entire game.

Karl Heisenberg is for me, a villain with much potential, with the excuse of being a "freedom fighter", he could be as dangerous as Wesker making a pandemic or BOW even more dangerous stuff, he should be in another RE saga but as the main villain.
It's crazy to think of the amount of variation Capcom had with his character! I love him already but the other ideas they had with his Father being the leader of the Village and Karl being a twin would have gave his arc so much more depth!

Defeating mutated Heisenberg in Village of Shadows difficulty was a pain in the ass ngl.
I'll admit. I didn't really notice this during the boss battle. That area was pretty loud with the shouting and gunfire. Glad I got to listen to this as a stand alone.
