- Survived The Arklay Mountains Incident, Rockfort Island, Numerous Umbrella Facilities around the globe, Valkoinen Mökki, The Spencer Estate, The Kijuju Incident, years of service with the BSAA dedicated to eradicating bioweapons (Which he helped establish in the first place), Edonia, Lanshiang, Dulvey and many smaller ops
- You could fill a mausoleum with the bodies he's piled up
- The fact that he punched a boulder out of the way is literally part of his renown.
Chris is not trying to survive the Village and Miranda. They are trying to survive him.

It is a breath of fresh air and contrasts to what Ethan has been through all game plus it aligns with Chris’s character perfectly, he’s got 25+ years of fighting experience with BOWs of course this is like another day for him.
Chris gameplay combined with this song was the best part of RE8 to me.

As an OG Resident Evil fan (played the first game in 1997, when I was only 12), I get such goosebumps when I look at what a legend Chris has become in the RE universe. He started out as a dork with a bad VA and less inventory space than Jill, and now, he's a hardened veteran who tears through BOWs like nothing after going through so much in 7 games (RE1/REmake 1, CVX, Revelations, 5, 6, 7, 8) and losing so many comrades. He has become the ultimate badass and he has his own theme now. BOWs now fear him. Amazing.

It feels a bit like RE had a power-level problem with the returning characters in the series. I think this section was a perfect way to do it, play as someone less experienced so we can have the fear still and then bring in a returning character to let us wreck-shop for just a moment. Felt GREAT and true to how efficient Chris would be after so many years handling this sort of thing.

But it does make the entire plot of weaponizing bio mutants a bit stupid when a small group of trained soldiers can whoop them by the thousands.
@@pulkitsharma4927 At this point in time it would be silly for there to not be anything the government would send to deal with this situation. Stuff like the T, T-Vernonica and C virus have happened and it makes sense for some group to develop countermeasures to stop them. The BSAA's whole job is to deal with bio weapons.

Forgot to mention, due to how easily Chris and co stop the Lycans, this could be why bio weapon manufacturers have gone into mold based bio weapons instead of virus's. Times have changed and the world has adapted so the ones making bio weapons had to invocate.
@@pulkitsharma4927 The whole bio-weapons plot was always a bit bassackwards, but it's worth considering that most of the BOWs we encounter in the games are either half-baked prototypes, living failures or accidents. Can you imagine a platoon of perfected Nemesis t-types trained to fight, armed to the teeth and wearing body armor? Honestly though, a killer virus would probably make a better bio-weapon. We'll probably never have to fight one in a RE game, though. Good thing, too--you can't shoot a virus with a gun.

I cried from the inside with numb anger while listening to this soundtrack and fighting as Chris after Ethan was mercilessly murdered by Miranda. This soundtrack is a perfect mixture of desperation, anger, hate, and hopelessness. By this point, it is almost certain that Ethan has died accomplishing nothing, leaving his entire journey pointless as Chris bites his teeth cleaning up the rest of the mess, including terminating the bile of humanity, Miranda, with his own hands.
Its title, "The Beginning of the End," signifies the impending doom of humanity while the mutamycete goes about devouring the entire village.
I know man, this was the most satisfying part of the game.

Absolute masterpiece. Hands down one of the best games I’ve ever played. Capcom done an absolute stellar job as did all the actors

This game felt like a love letter to the series. The castle felt like classic RE, the village and fishing lake and factory felt like RE4 and this Chris section felt like RE6 but way better! Loved the characters in this game!

Redfield's Deathmarch.
This track has the weight needed to represent Chris' presence. He is not afraid of dying by BOWs anymore, he simply entered the village as a reaper. Lycans had Ethan as a harbinger, while Chris is their demise. Veterans like him, Leon or Jill flip any survivor horror experience to a point where they are the real threat, just like doomguy for demons.
Imagine if Chris brought Jill, Barry, Rebecca, Billy, Carlos, Leon and Claire with him when he was raiding the village!

I love how well the music fits this situation -it feels so rewarding to play as Chris, easily shredding everything in his path. Also Loving the haunting sirenes in this tune, they really add to the feel that you get rid of a literal biohazard.

6. Goes the distance to save his sister.

9. Has no loyalty to ANY cooperation, even the BSAA.

Tundra : Is everyone okay ? How many of them ?

Honestly this part of the game is just a perfect picture of what we have felt after Ethan's death.
I mean we know Ethan since RE7, and went to this horror show with him. After his death, we go in Chris' Role.
If I'm already at Chris, over the game he has lost his partner in RE5 (Forgot what his name was sorry-), and now he has lost Ethan who just tried to save his daughter.
And so, we can clearly fit in Chris' Role, because he feels the same as we did at that moment: Rage, and revenge.
This is why it feels SO satisfying to go through the village and shoot every goddamn Lycan we see. That is how I felt about Chris' part.
Honestly, he lost somebody throughout the entire franchise. Chris has become so hardened as a lead, that evil stands no chance...
Chris: "Huh, you brought bioweapons to a Redfield fight....."
Definitely one of the best parts in the game. Gets your adrenaline pumping and your thoughts are just like “hell yeah, let’s go fight a Lycan army.”
Chris surpassed HUNK as the ultimate lifeform in RE.
