I love how one of his operatives says "Time to have fun like the old days" and then we're greeted with artillery like never seen before in the last 2 games.
This is such a great battle theme for Chris Redfield. The sinister drones and high pitch ringing flood the soundscape making it feel almost diegetic like the noise is echoing through the village itself while the loud bolstering drums give the action an anchor point.
Was waiting for this track to play in the game since the reveal trailer. Definitely wasn't disappointed when it did, one of the greatest sections in gaming.

Help yourself..." *(Chris saw the dead BSAA operator caught in Mutamycete roots)* "I can't let these Mold spreads..." *(More Lycans crawling village's road)* "Umber Eyes, I need backup !" "I see you. Few clicks from the point" "I can't believe the Mutamycete colony growing so huge..." *(Armored Lycan and the other horde shows up at Chris' face)* "Hey, I got eyes on you, Boss. Keep moving" *(Lycans horde are blocking the path to Maiden At War)* "If my mom saw this shit... She thinks she died and gone to Hell"
Easy: I am the stalker enemy, now. Medium: Ethan! Eeethan... EEEEETHAN! UHUH. Hardcore: Ouch, you hurt my finger. *boulder punch technique. Village of Shadows: cry for 3 hours and when you make it (accidentally), take full credit and wipe away that sweat before someone sees your pain.
Am i the only one who loves this sequence? It feels like a lot hate it but i think it's still fun af and satisfying The pointer thing however when lycans are swarning you near the boss is absolutely horrid
