I love HUNK's theme but goddamn GHOST's takes the cake. Where HUNK's is basically "I'm badass and you ain't stopping me," GHOST's tells you "I'm on my own, I'm not ready for this, these odds are ridiculous, I have no idea if I'll make it but I won't go down without a fight."

Maybe it is too far-fetched, but I think that the broken eye in the gas mask means that the umbrella soldiers (or at least, ghost) have a human part, since they are symbolized as killing machines.
You know what? I'd say that ain't half far-fetched and seems pretty damn fitting, as Martinez just wanted to get the hell outta there and his own survival was probs only thing he cared about at that moment
And it’s a design to set him apart from HUNK, appearance-wise.
it's literally where he got fucked up by birkin and to actually be a character, otherwise it'd just be hunk, same outfit.
The only BOW with a hunk-like appearance is called a "cleaner" from RE: Survivor . Those ones was BOWs but hunk , aswell his team are all humans.
That makes sense. It wouldn't be the first time a helmeted or masked character had their eyes showing in order to humanize them.

@@ubcroel4022 my last orders for duty was as a military weapons instructor at aberdeen proving grounds, MD. I was the only instructor there that was infantry. I was able to give students a unique perspective of what did and what we faced while employing the light infantry weapons systems on the battle field as well as ingraining the importance of their job and grave consequences for the users should they fail their duty. I taught everything from hand and shoulder fired rifles, to include sniper rifles, light and heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and emplaced mortar systems. I did the same thing on the civilian side as a government contractor working with General Dynamics until the job relocated to fort lee virginia. Then I started a firearms instructing business and assisted in coaching mma as well as consult for various companies during armed escorts.( Executive protection escort)

If you look at the ending again, there's no blood and Ghost's helmet and mask is laid down on the floor quite intentionally. I'm pretty sure the implication was that she actually spared him.
Others have even theorized that she offered him a job and he was the unnamed "Agent" that accompanied her on her mission in Resi 6 -- which honestly I hope was their intent or at least they make it canon. Ghost _ABSOLUTELY_ deserves it for what he went through and pulled off in this survivor mission.
@@PhyreI3ird well I mean the missions are non canon. They all say “here’s a tale of a night that never dawned” or some shit. He died in the main game, he’s the guy who recorded G in the hallway with the dead USS soldiers.

i think more of it as more of an imperfection that makes him more human unlike hunk who he doesnt care about other just to do his job but him he just want to not to come back empty handed

I always loved how tragic and badass this is, like ghost is making his final stand against the horde despite being expandable and long gone
I still think Ghost's mission is cannon, it fits perfectly and contradicts nothing, besides, Resident Evil is well known for unresolved and missing characters that just walk into the series and vanish into obscurity; like real life.
It can't be canon, Ada in fact, stayed in the transport thing while Leon went to the lab for the G Sample, then, how could she get that one sample from Ghost and still almost die in the bridge for Leon's G sample?

Ghost’s “death” was just a hard hit to the sewer wall. Leon survived way worse, so to think that he survived isn’t far fetched. Sure if he did survive in the canon universe, he wouldn’t have collected the G sample. Sure it’s called ghost survivors, but when you look at it, Ghost surviving is possible.

The Forgotten Soldier is my favorite add-on. I prefer him to the 4th survivor, but I like Hunk too.
I honestly don't understand why these mini campaigns are only in the second volume. This is the best free dlc they could have made for me. This should also have been in the Remake of three and four, when we would perhaps follow the fate of Krauser and Luis, in the three, for example, Brad and someone else. I'm disappointed that these mini-episodes are only deuces in the Remake. Being a developer, I put it in every part.

J Martinez (Ghost) died to Birkin in the first soldier tape you find while saying “over hear you freak!” So unfortunately this can’t be canon it’s more of a ‘what if’ Martinez survived
Then how could the place self destruct 2 times?
Sadly the Ghost survivors mode are minigames of "What If those characters survived". Despite Ghost being a relatively uknow character, the other ones died in the Cannon so it could be safe to assume that Ghost were killed before (also, probably was killed by Ada at the end of his non cannon mini game anyway).
@@Mr.Clumsy_Was_Bored the whole game is a what if on itself, both claire and leon got conflicting scenarios that eventually merge back together, i wouldn't call neither non canon, more like a different take on the story which it is
@@RoninFT9I think J.M (Ghost) was the one who recorded the incident when Birkin attacked the Alpha Unit, he recorded it, because the unit that said "OVER HERE YOU FREAK" was hit in the stomach, meanwhile, this ghost has wounds on his helmet and gas mask.

My theory is ada and him start to cooperate and it's confirmed kill by William birkin but hunk can't know about him is he's still alive and he told to umbrella that all of alpha team is dead. So Ghost escaped that night and stay undercover to hide his story because umbrella would kill him for information about that night happened. So in Resident evil 6 Ada talks to 'ghost'.
Of corse that mode isn't canon but i think my theory may can be true.
