Small tip. When on the last character of keying in your password, if the "apply settings" doesn't come up, make sure you hold down the OK for a second, it requires a slightly longer key press until it pops up. If you give a normal key press on the OK, it just jumps to the next character entry waiting for you to key in another character.
After trying 5 sites, including Brother's, I found this! Excellent! fixed my problem in minutes as compared to hours of unsuccesful attempts.

YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND! I’m so grateful for this knowledge. I just spent the whole afternoon getting extremely annoyed on the phone to Brother after buying this printer and getting completely led up the garden path with nonsense processes that just did NOT work at all. Following this easy instruction and BAM, 5 mins later I’m printing up a storm!

YOU MADE THIS SO SIMPLE FOR ME, THANK YOU! BTW, in order to re-set up the printer in a new house with a new wifi I first went into resetting the settings to fabric settings so I could set up like it was brand new. That saved me some time so this is a little note for those who are in a similar situation :) Cheers!

I finally got it to work, but, without a key pad, the input instructions were very poor. Bluetooth was unnecessarily difficult. And for the price, a printer cord should have been included.

Finally , success. Thank you and really appreciate you saying how hardest part is putting password in because that took forever and so frustrating but i gave it another shot after screwing up multiple times even after doing password and hit some wrong button and had to start completely over more than once! Other videos say "simply" put in password, and "its that simple!" Which isnt what i want to hear after ive struggled with it for hours. Its not that simple or we wouldn't need youtube videos to explain it. Anyway, after i saw mine was connected it STILL didn't print my trial page so i unplugged it and plugged it back in and then it spat out the page.
Thank you for this very straight forward instruction setup. I had to get a new router/modem yesterday and the tech gave it a new network name so I am trying to connect everything back. This was super helpful as this is a rather old printer and I do not have the original paperwork any longer.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've had to set this printer up, and your video has helped me each time. I have the 2350 model, which has some slightly different menu orders, but close enough to get the job done. Thanks again, my friend. I recommend that you set up your printer with this video, and then watch it again, writing the steps into a document that you can then print out as a test, and keep for the next time. I finally did this and taped it to my printer.

I have to sort this out every time some change gets made to my small home network. Brother makes a great printer once set up. It is beyond my why they put up with the arrogance of their support staff who apparently believe that once they know how, everyone else should be able to figure it out.
