Can I use this printer wired for a desktop and also wirelessly for mobile devices? So can it be connected both ways and used whichever is needed? Thanks.
@@StevenMeyerJr No, I did. I just didn't bother to post it here. I took the printer to another building to link it up on that WiFi first. Then, once it was online, I was able to use the app to change the password, giving me access to a backslash, and put it back in it's original spot working perfectly. 🤭
How do I do it with the older version
With the 2460 I just used the Brother Mobile Connect app on my phone and got the wireless setup. I didn't have to do anything on the printer.
Hi bother my phone and printer connect to same network. But I cannot find my printer on the phone. How do I fix this issue
The only helpful video
This has been SO very helpful but I am at a stopping point. Can you help?
How do you use the scanner?
Doesn't have a scanner.
What if it says WLAN enable?
I did not get searching SSID and couldn’t see all the networks. Do I need to do something else?
Push the down arrow to select 'Yes', then it will allow you to search for WiFi networks.

You can print wirelessly to a wired printer if the network is the same
Magic Mamaliga. Nice.
Thank you! 👍👍
and also with wps button on your wifi router can connect your printer just search wps in your printer
The network password here uses a backslash in it. There’s no backslash in the list of symbols on the printer though. Is there another way?
Change the password on the network to something without backslashes.
@@StevenMeyerJr Thanks Captain Obvious! Lol, seriously though, I would have, but it's not an option in this situation.
@@LatenightLyle I mean…. You didn’t come up with the solution 🤣
