This video is a bit off... John Lumic didn't invent Cybermen. Even in his divergent universe a team of scientists back engineered Telosian Cybermen to create his Cybus industries versions. Some are brains in armour, some are more like the Borg (Cybermen inspired them) in that the flesh and machine are more intertwined. Imagine a human reduced to very little. No gender, no ethnicity, age will become an unnecessary detail. They still have emotions but they are suppressed to keep the horror of what they have become from stopping them from functioning. They are always in pain.
