No one is saying they are dumb. What they are saying is that there is no way that they accomplished some or most of the things without tech when it comes to megalithic structures in the time they were claimed to have been completed. How did some cultures move megalithic stones without the wheel? How did they cut stones with precision without diamond cutting tools? We would have a difficult time accomplishing some of these tasks with the tech we have today. I believe the earth and intelligent humans have been here much much longer than we can fathom.

In today’s world we have electricity, gps, smartphones, fast food, and everything we build now breaks so easily. Most homes now days is just plywood and drywall with 2 by fours and insulation in between. When a 21 year old built something back then he/she was thinking of their great grandchildren not having to rebuild. We just always want new stuff and always compare and complain. We are the result of being spoiled and constantly thinking of how much something cost. They only thought of survival. Currency and materials were two completely different things then compared to now. Plus now we always seek approval and permission to do anything and/or build anything.

In prehistory, we had yet to domesticate plants or animals (with the exepton of the dog) so life would have been very different. Working together in big groups to hunt, build structures with what they had, and stay safe. That's it.
We do so much over the corse of our lives, by comparison. We have a much wider range of skills. They would have been so much better at hunting and stone work. I wonder how many generations worked on these structures, pre history spans about 40,000 years so it could have been many hundreds

Why do we demolish skyscrapers, Los Vegas hotel casinos etc, then rebuild on top of them? Outdated, inefficient use of space or it's simple falling apart. This takes alot of time and money while houses are easily remodeled or added on.
Try to do that with the Great Pyramid lol. I'm not saying the Pyramid was used as an habitat or any other visiting type tourist attractions although this is what it has been repurposed for nowadays.

That's why you can find a video of a farmer in England who figured out his own way to move large pillars all by himself, to replicate some techniques that may have been used for Stonehenge. The people of the time would've been intimately knowledgeable of tons of manual labor tricks we have forgotten, due to technology.

If you think about it, we've spent so much time making building materials more manageable, modular, and once we developed machines to help manage larger modules we totally forgot that we used to handle extremely large materials without the machines we have today. Just because we lost our collective memory on the subject doesn't mean that ancestors hadn't figured it out. If there's one thing that's true about humans is that we're really good at solving problems at any point in history given the knowledge and tools available to us. Why couldn't our ancestors have figured out a way to build these things? Only because our current ego won't allow us to believe it? I mean, they obviously DID build them...

Just like moving all those massive stones, we just can't do it, at all. moving 100 ton rocks, hundreds of miles? no way. Sooo, tell me again about scientists discovering this??? A quick search shows:
The gate stood in full view of visitors to Mycenae for centuries. It was mentioned by the ancient geographer Pausanias in the second century AD. The first correct identification of the gate in modern literature was during a survey conducted by Francesco Grimani, commissioned by the Provveditore Generale of the Kingdom of the Morea in 1700, who used Pausanias's description of the gate to identify the ruins of Mycenae.
In 1840, the Greek Archaeological Society undertook the initial clearing of the site from debris and soil that had accumulated to bury it, and in 1876 Heinrich Schliemann, guided by Pausanias's accounts, excavated the area south of the gate.

There is many pages of our history that are lost becuse of the many floods and volcanos, not to mention that we have over 200 known asteroid impacts( oceans hold that many and more I am sure) also the other homminids that excisted along with us through these lost years of history. Have visited lot of ancient Hindu temples in India where granite type of stone was bended ( melted?) for making pillars with mirror like polished finishing ( “ Ramappa temple” ) and floating bricks for top section.
They say it’s built 1200 years ago but I strongly believe that its original structure is very ancient and later kings added to it ( like many other temples in India) and that kind of technology was not available 1200 year ago. we no more has that ancient technology due to lost civilisation .

There are many places with columnar basalt in southern peninsula. Some places have very well formed hexagons columns even.

We know of several methods that CAN be used to move stones this size, we just don't know which method WAS used.
That uncertainty doesn't mean aliens did it.
The reason we don't move stones this size today is the limits imposed by the width of our roads. That's it. We have cranes today that could lift any of the largest known monoliths effortlessly, but we haven't had a need to transport those sized stones, so we don't make vehicles for them.
But we easily could. We would just need to find pathways for that vehicle that doesn't use our roadways, as they aren't intended for those kinds of weights.

There are videos of a single man moving a huge stone slab that is over a ton using a simple groove and round stone system. You carve out a notch in the stone, and then find a stone that is around the same size, around a coconut size. You round off the stone as best you can. Place the stone on the ground, try to line up the huge slab's notch over the stone, and then because you have a pivot point the slab becomes very easy to lift on the far end and to swivel around. You then have a notch on the other side of the slab with another rounded stone on the other end you just moved. Is it tedious? Yes. Is it rather slow? Yes. But it absolutely works, and if you had a team of men to do this it would go much, much faster.

I think people also don't realize that our ancestors were much stronger than we are today. There are still a few people like that in the world today. But back in the day when people used to live in communities in the nature, almost everyone was super strong. For instance in Russia a few centuries ago there were huge men that could lift a wooden house from a side, pull trees out of the soil, life horses up. Thanks to the clean air, clean water, clean food and daily physical activity that gave the great genetics to the people. There are a handful of strong people like those today as well that can crack a walnut with two fingers or lift a car. So it is possible that it was not really that hard for our ancient ancestors to lift up stones like that. And for sure they had a different (perhaps even more simple) technology that allowed them to perform such things on stones.

    two explanations i have heard:
    1. there may have been high technology before the flood of Noah, because humans apparently became corrupted in their DNA. even after the flood some believe king Nimrod experimented on himself and altered his DNA, and that the Tower of Babel he built was a technological marvel who's intended height may have been 100 miles high

Look at the cymatic sites all along the rift valley of Africa and marvel at alien technology we can't comprehend. There is a vast underground labyrinth near Lake Moeris, Egypt, which was located by Dr Carmen Boulter ( now passed). It's been off limits since then, but lidar proved that it was full of ancient wealth, and it was written about by Plato and others. So look online and watch our amazing archaeology come alive in videos. It's full of treasures and breathtaking architectural wonders.
