yup pretty much. You can have a somewhat rumbling of amusement on very rare occasion with other Duos but it's only the truly great of the arts that effortlessly remain still very funny. Something great shall always remain so and that's why these guys shall always be so thrilling to watch. It's when you genuinely can't remain silent for letting out chortles that you know how excellent this stuff still is. As modern as the day it was performed

I always cry with laughter every time I watch this clip I have never seen pool played quite like it. Brilliant. Laurel and Hardy were the master's of situation comedy. They could get a laugh out of anything. Brilliant not outdated humour.

lot of funny things in just under 2 minutes, don't think The Honeymooners t.v. show would exist if not for Laurel and Hardy

Absolutely brilliant observation! It was Seller's funniest of the series and the scene you refer to with
George Sanders was hilarious. "Maria Gambrelli is innocent - of murder", "Your coat", "Yes it is my coat", "it's on fire", "my coat, it's on fire"! Great catch! Sellers probably admired Laurel & Hardy.
