What a wonderful tenor voice Oliver Hardy had.

We can see Chill Wills sitting on the steps singing while the boys dance to 'At the ball.'

Beautiful, Spiritual, Romantic, and done with heart. This music is old, however, has never lost it greatness.

Marvellous. A number 2 hit in UK in 1970's thanks to John Peel.

OLIVER NORVEL HARDY DIED FROM A STROKE IN 1957 AND STAN LAUREL DIED FROM A HEART ATTACK AT THE AGE OF 65 YEARS OLD AND THEY WERE THE FUNNIEST COMEDY TEAM THAT EVER LIVED 😔

Beautiful and hilarious. Brings me back to the 1970s when I first discovered The Boys and their films. This one, Way Out West, is a gem.

I believe that is character actor Chill Wills singing the deep part.

Did the Avalon Boys ever release a record?

I could be mistaken, but the bartender looks like James C. Morton, an actor I've seen in the early Three Stooges shorts! His most notable role is Paul Pain in the episode, A Pain in the Pullman!

I thought that the bartender might have been Jackie Coogan.

@@jnicksnewstart The saloon manager who is seen only for a second or two is Jimmy Finlayson ... a often seen foil in Laurel and Hardy films.

@@louistrudeau767 You're absolutely correct on that one. He was the bad guy at a lot of the Laurel Hardy shorts and movies. He was also in a couple of The Little Rascals. He was the originator of "Doh". Long before Homer Simpson.

Funny to hear Laurel‘s voice sound deep, then sound like a woman‘s when Hardy hit him on the head, though it took a few seconds for Laurel to get unconscious.
