this is what makes stan and ollie legendary...just pure genius with the little things they can do to be funny like them both playing with a peice of paper and guessing which hand its in. There will never be a duo like these legends. RIP
The quartet is NOT the Avalon Boys...they are an unidentified group. (Note that Chill Wills isn't in the group.) The gentleman leaning-in to listen on the right is Roach stock player Dick Gilbert. The Avalon Boys' only appearance in a Laurel & Hardy movie is WAY OUT WEST (1937)
If you ever spent any time on a farm, this song really tugs at your heart strings. Judy Garland sang it in Easter Parade, but I can’t think of anyone else who’s ever covered it.
Born in Michigan and spent my first few years on a farm. Back in the day Michigan was a heck of a nice place. Who wouldn’t shed a tear over a home now gone, a family lost to the passing of time, or this reminder offered by Stan and Ollie.? After all, we grew up watching them on TV, when TV finally arrived. I still remember Duke, my Tabby Tom cat, who didn’t make the move to the big city in the winter of 1949. I often wonder “Where’s my Duke?” I’ve missed him for 75 years.
Sir.I saw movie at ERNAKULAM SRIDHAR Movie House .PACK UP YOUR TROUBLES AND PARDON WITH US before 30 years .Here is written as 12 years back. At That time I were an INDIAN POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEEE. I CAN SHOW PROOF .

And I'd like to fish again
