the thing is that when the windows installer asks me on which drive to install windows 10, the samsung 980 pro does not show up

What if I can't see my 980 pro in the UEFI version of bios? It is not in M2 slot; i had to install it into a PCIe adapter. Its funny that I can't see it in UEFI now but in previous BIOS version, I could see it easily and even initialize it in windows 10. However, I could not install Win 10 there, which is my main goal.

My 980 pro shows up in the bios but not during the install. Any solution?

You need to change the setting in the BIOS off of RAID O.
