You have a great future as a trainer... Absolutely BRILLIANTLY done. I have waded through countless videos trying to get some guidance on how to do this and within two minutes, I knew you got the question and had a solution. Congratulations on a fantastic post.
Thank you for the info filled video! My mum got into pottery and needed me to make some mandala stamps. With this tutorial, she was able to do most of the work by herself. Cheers
Your video is super clear, not only did you show the steps but you also explained it very clearly from top to bottom. You would be an excellent instructor for 3d printing courses. Thank you!
This was exactly what I was looking for! I designed a 2d imaged for a pin and was hoping that I could use it as a sketch somehow. Thank you so much for posting this! this will save me so much time!
Absolutely perfect, thank you. My gf lost a one of a kind pin and we couldn’t find it so I’m recreating it for her for Christmas, just needed a good blank to file down. Thank you!
Thanks, I used most of what you said on creating a 3D piece from an image. Your video helped me create a sharp 3D PETG part from my Prusa printer. Finally, I can hold my logo in 3D instead of only on paper!
As a beginner, I had no idea where to start with 2d images for 3d printing. You explained it clearly, provided enough detail and really helped. Thank you! (i never comment on RUclips usually so thought I better say my thanks)
This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much! I'd been trying to print off a button I designed in illustrator and couldn't figure out how to make it happen.
That is perfect! I just had a request to make a club's logo into a 3d printable item. Im not exactly flush for cash right now, so this is exactly what i need. Thank you so much for the easy to follow tutorial.
Hello from the Florida Space Coast. I've been procrastinating on making for so long now and decided I need to get to it. Anyways, a late night Google search for my first project led me to this video. I have since watched a few more of your vids and think you are adorable. I love your energy and humor. You are very creative. Thank you for your inspiration to MAKE! Look forward to your future projects. You earned a subscribe from me:) Meow.
Great video. I've been wanting to make a video similar to this for a long time using methods from Photoshop and illustrator. I will get around to it one of these days lol.
Hello from Joel’s 3D Printing Nerd channel :) FYI you can scale proportionately in Inkscape by holding down the Shift (or Ctrl) key while scaling. Can’t remember exactly which key...
You are awesome. I have been trying for two years to take a drawing I made, manipulate it by tracing it with vertices with parts in different heights, and then joining the parts to a single mesh to print but always fail . I think I can figure it out now.
Great video. I think I like you. In your videos you seem to be down to earth. You don’t waste time with a bunch of frivolous junk audios and sponsee garbage. Your kind of videos are a rare find here on YT and on FB as well. Keep shooting videos like this. Popularity shouldn’t even be a thing with your style. 🎃🎃🎃😊😊😊
