  • In this video I show you how to quickly convert a raster image into a vector image, how to bring it into Fusion360, and then 3D print it in Bambu Studio with the AMS.

    Image to SVG converter:
    image.online-c...
    Note that while it says it converts PNG's to SVG's, it also accepts other files like .webp (when you right click/save an image from chrome) or .jpg

    Thank you!! I just added a mmu3 to my mk3s+ and was trying to figure how to divide the parts. Split parts is what did it for me. Thanks!!

    How would you go about making the back several layers thick and black top layers (100% fill) When i do paint by layer and make the layer 3rd layer and above all black, the printer still prints the outlines of the shapes. I want solid top layer to be the "back" of these prints. I see them all the time on makerworld, but can't figure that out.

    What if we want to put that logo on a coin or something. In fusion 360, I added the "coin" that is 3mm thick, and when I imported them all into Bambu, I could split them and change the colors, but then when I sliced them, it didnt work. It just wanted to print the "coin" with no color changes

    Nice easy tutorial. But I do my multicolour in new component instead of new body and I name each file the colour it's going to be. And export as step files.

    hi, did you print the file 3 times for 3 colors? or just one time for all colors?

    • @Markury
      @Markury  Год назад +2

      This printer uses a special system called the AMS, which allows it to print up to four colors using one nozzle so it’s all done in just one print. The filament swapping is automated by the slicer and the printer prints a purge block in between colors. I hope this helps!

    what should i do if i want to add more layer??

    • @gregorysmith9114
      @gregorysmith9114 7 дней назад

      Extrude it more. He extruded it .2mm since that is one layer. If you did it .4mm it would be 2 layers, .6mm is 3 layers and so on and so forth

      Click object in the process section of bambu studio. (middle left, default is global, change it to objects)

    Any tips for when your print has holes in it for some reason?

    • @markiemew
      @markiemew Год назад

      This might be caused by the top/bottom infill patterns. Try switching between concentric and linear/rectilinear patterns and see if that makes a difference! A workaround for this might be increasing the number of bottom layers to the height of the overall print if the infill pattern doesn't fix it. I hope this helps!

    how can you do this without fusion360?

    • @Markury
      @Markury  Год назад +1

      I just uploaded another video showing how to do this without Fusion 360 using free tools. It uses the ability to import SVG files directly into Bambu Studio without having to convert it to an STL first, so I would go check that video out. Thanks for watching!

    What is the purpose of a one layer print?

    • @cck6740
      @cck6740 6 месяцев назад +1

      I was looking for a print that gave me flexibility to contour on a curved item, and the one layer print did that for me.

    • @Badkitty24

      a bit later, but this is for printing things like keychains or badges or signs or art. One single (though usually 2) layers of all the color, then the remaining layers black. The purpose is the color sides are printed first, so they squish into each other and make a nice uniform picture, instead of seeing lines.

    Still don’t see how this will print?

    • @Markury
      @Markury  Год назад

      This print uses the Bambu Lab AMS (or Prusa MMU) to print multiple colors on the same layer. I just uploaded a new video that shows it actually printing, so go check it out to see the printing process!

    This is good if you know how to use fusion. If not you went too fast and didn't explain how to actually do anything. You just said now do this this and this and you will get this. You need to explain how to actually go through the software and make it do what you want.

    Wish you had Bambu in the Title. It's a great tutorial, but a little misleading... I thought you'd be showing how to do this with a single nozzle/non-AMS/MMU.
