First of all I wanted to say that you certainly set the bar extremely high at being the very best father you can be. Thumbs up for that in and of itself as being a good parent is by far the hardest job in the world in my opinion.
I'm a disabled marine (I've been diagnosed with cancer three separate times as well as suffering through 3 strokes and I'm a paraplegic... all in the last 15 years) who is the father of two mostly grown kids (my oldest is 19 and my second oldest is 17 years of age). With all of that being said... I still do my best to be as physically and mentally active, alert and fit as I can but a large portion of my awake time I spend reading, writing and drawing.
I've been a comic book reader , collector and even a creator over the past 40 years and I also enjoy collecting toys as well when i find a specific toy line that strikes my fancy. Typically, my preferences lean heavily towards action figure toy line that I collect mostly. So, I'm really into super heroes, giant robots and giant monsters as well.
Okay, now that I "think" that I've set up what I'm trying to say here... I really liked this video that you made on how to take a drawing and "convert" a 2 dimensional idea into a 3 dimensional figure/sculpt/toy. I did a lot of research before committing to saving up enough money to purchase a 3d printer that would be capable of creating 3d versions of any and all of my original comic book character concepts. I've even worked a bit within a couple of different "free" 3d rendering software programs but I haven't been happy with any of them as of yet. However, I am definitely going to give Fusion 360 a shot after watching your video. I really hope that with some practice and work that I'll FINALLY be able to view one of the hundreds of my character creations as an actual "action figure".
Thank you for such a great, succinct video.

Really cool project ! Got a small tip for you, masking holes is easy. Use ear plugs, the disposable type they often have in the workplace, roll them in your fingers and pop them in the hole then let them expand again. You can either just leave the excess sticking out which makes them easy to remove when you're done, or if you want a nice crisp edge to the paint right up to the hole then cut them flush with a razor and hook them out with a pick once the paint's dried.
