  • The themes in both the book and film are definitely worth talking about. That being said, I don’t think I’ve ever liked a film as much as I do American Psycho, while positively hating the book it was adapted from.
Also, you like Huey Lewis and the News?

This is so timely, I cant help but feel like this current era of rampant opinion sharing, ideology and dogma Olympics we see so often on social media echo the themes of american psycho in an uncanny way.

Hey! I just discovered your channel. I loved the editing, your narration, and especially your perspective, which I think is a fresh take on a movie that has been talked about so much. Many people discuss how the message is misinterpreted, but I've seen few who delve into it like you do. I'm just starting out with videos of this type, trying to find my style, and honestly, you're very motivating, specially to see creators who are starting and thriving. Cheers and keep it up!

Very nice, now let's see Paul Allen's commentary...

It's funny you say that, Paul Allen is a really thematically interesting character in the book which is not explored in the film (though I don't blame them, Allen randomly disappears for 3/4 of the book, so it would be hard to make a cohesive narrative with book Allen 😅)
