I really understand what you mean by having a passion for multiple things as I was a singer/songwriter/performer when I was younger, and I was always drawing and painting from around the age of 4 which led me to enrolling in art school as a young adult.Later on, I became interested in sewing and took one sewing lesson that came with my sewing machine. Obsessed with learning, I devoured everything I could get my hands on to learn sewing technique and garment construction and remained self-taught. I took a pattern making class at a women's fashion college in the 80's, and I design, paint, draw, hand embroider, etc. to this day. I am obsessed with ALL of it and create each day. I had friends die from drugs but God was good to me because I only cared about music, art, writing, and sewing. I am no better than those who took a wrong turn in life; I guess the passion for my interests has always contented me and fulfilled me so that I did not feel a desire to escape anywhere but into my creative space and "play" with color, fabric, perfection (although I am still learning by doing!) and it's still FUN!! Thanks for being a kindred spirit and so inspiring! 😊
your videos are a real inspiration not only the the the way of teaching which is very comprehensive, but the way you keep avery step clean and give importance to accuracy, thank you all the way from Israel

Outstanding like always, thanks so much for all your tips & techniques which are immensely appreciated ♥️ You take away from us fear on some things of sewing, like buttonholes for me & the glue stick & iron super. Thanks for sharing & being an amazing inspiration for us for all your tips & techniques sharing to us. Thanks 💯❤️👏🏼
Wonderful hints and tips which will help make my attempts more professional so thank you so much for sharing. I am a novice and quite old and have just started serious sewing starting with clothes for my grandchildren and now going on to household and myself. Just bought a top end machine which embroiders too. I am like you and have another two serious hobbies which I enjoy so retirement is not boring and life is fun.
Christopher---love your videos. I have made one shirt for my husband. I would love to make more. However, I have a big issue with the buttonhole in the collar stand. Can you do a video on how you get a good buttonhole in the collar stand? Thanks so much. I too devour videos and books to learn to be a better seamstress. Thanks for the encouragement!
