That metal tab on the face of the machine, just to the right of your bobbin winder, is your thread cutter. If you have an aerial thread post that'll hold 2 spools, keep one spool for bobbin thread threaded to your machine. When the bobbin is wound, slide the thread under that tab, remove the bobbin and lift up to cut the thread. The spool thread will be held in place under the tab ready for the next bobbin.
Good Video Nick. Just a heads up, you are putting the bobbin into the case in the wrong direction. The bobbin should spin clockwise when you pull the thread.
You should never pull your THREAD (not string) up through your machine tension. This can cause lint build up in the tension mechanism. Always cut at the top and pull down through the needle.
4:21.....actually, that part doesn't matter. There's no backspin with M bobbins. Especially when you run 138 through it. After using 138 I never changed back. I dig it for rolled pleats. I can't wait to get my Juki!!!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 I was looking at the 1508 as well but I'm more used to the side mount for changing bobbins. The duel needle feed I'm also buying will probably be a top mount. Is that the servo motor? That wheel is huge!!! I can't wait!!!!! 😜
Where did you get the huge pulley wheel on the sewing head, the one on my 1542s i much smaller, I would think that larger gear would be beneficial for sewing leather. PS, thanks for taking the time to share this video with us Thanks and have a blessed weekend. Dale
Hello thanks for video, could you do something like complete instructions setup? I have same machine and I’m having so much bother with it. 5-6 threads on underside of fabric etc, have to rethread! Nightmare.
I'm having trouble bob and thread not pulling tight through giving a look on the top of the threads not pulling tightly through I have adjusted the little screw for tension on the bobbin thread but is still not tightening the thread up in the material
hi! Can you Show me a picture of the back of your Juki DNU -1541 bobbin winder and the side view? My fell apart when I moved it and I can't find anything online to see exactly how it goes back together. I would really appreciate it!
No, not if the foot is lifted and locked in the 'Up' position. If the foot is not lifted then, yes, the foot and the dogs can run together, which is not good. The needle, however, will not contact anything in any case. It is important to remove the bobbin from the case while winding a bobbin lest a loose bit of thread gets caught up in the bobbin case. That will lock the dang thing up in a New York minute.
Linda Harrell haha yeah not to many people would think of that with my Servo motor I can put it on the lowest setting and go through some serious thick leather without the motor humming
Interesting. About half of this instruction is not right. Would have been a good idea to at least read the manual before making an "instructional" video on the machine.

Very clear demonstration professionally recorded. Excellent job, great machine. Thanks.

in fact, I watched it again and you didn't thread the machine correctly either.
Nice machine, great video. More, MORE!

Que precio tiene esa maquina

I have this machine and love it but I never wind the bobbin without fabric.
the first thread mechanism with the multi holes in not tension but designed to take twist out of thread. just say'n

what's the type and size of the pulley you have on your 1541? I'm looking at reducing my machines speed without a costly speed reducer
When winding the bobbin, it doesn’t damage the needle with no fabric underneath?

how do i get a pully like the one you have thank you JB
Bedienungsanleitung gelesen?
Wow thanks nice and clear, nice
Hi, can you direct me on were you got that balance wheel?
never seen a pully that big on juki what do u sew with it
Linda Harrell haha yeah not to many people would think of that with my Servo motor I can put it on the lowest setting and go through some serious thick leather without the motor humming
Doesn't hurt the machine winding a bobbin with no fabric under the needle?
cleanqueen75 no
Nick Bojko wrong it does hurt the machine and is not recommended. She is correct
@@cmetube No, if the foot is lifted there is no problem. Do you keep a 1000 yards of material around to run under the foot when winding a bobbin?
what size thread is this?
What the specs for the hand wheel?

Wrong. Look at your owner's manual and then make a video
