What did you media blast with? Walnut? What did you use for the pull device? Did you replace any seals, o-rings, gaskets? did you do the valley pan gasket and oil check valves at the same time? I discovered a broken arm on my V8 06 Touareg... I replaced and the new one broke so mine is seized. Wow... anyways. I sourced a used intake manifold with a throttle body spacer, the actuator pods, and the fuel rail but the arms are seized on the new one too so I am going to rebuild it and then replace and rebuild my other and sell... help! :)Thanks for the video
@@dpuerto Yes sir I did replace the parts also I used sand. Just make sure you wash with water and blow out with air hose. It's easy just take your time.
@@irontownartfabrication9164 Thank you. I'm taking everything apart tomorrow and taking inventory. I found a place locally to media blast for me for $60 so I am going to take it all apart and have them do it and then I'll just replace everything along the way. I am stoked to revive this beast!!!

PRO..here....JBE is Grommetted to TOP not Bottom....Clearly the Backing is Somewhat Flush to WELL..causing vibration under Nominal Heat or Normal fuel pump relay Heat...however NOTICE...the JBE backing Plate has Vibration Wear AND Deformity or HEAT via Vinration in combination with Nominal Heating from Circuits Boards....so....the Nail in the Coffin so to Speak is IN FACT a Manufacturer Assembly Defect...Causing Direct Vibration Contact to JBE. CASE CLOSED. Warrant for Recall AND Class Action SHOULD NOW be justified by Car Owners.Leasors and Every Mechanic Troubles by INTEGRITY of ACTUAL SOLUTION or Prevention.😊😊

@@reyrrz If they are broken it's due to being seized. You'll have to replace seal

Whys the wheel base so short ? Isnt the idea of making a reverse trike to lower the center of gravity and give you a driving position more like a car

Thank you so much. My car isn’t stalling “yet”. But the relay keeps clicking and a/c goes on and off and rpm or speed isn’t reading. Do you think it’s the same issue?

The trunk always late opening but driver door is not locking !

I don't know never had this issue. Sounds like sending unit it bad the float maybe.
Man this saved me. Everything worked. Went on a ride and ignition solenoid isn’t flush and stuck in the on position. Any tips to lube it and un stuck it?
Here we are May 2024 I have this same broken throttle arm. $ 100 US to buy new arms.
I literally fought with this thing every other day for a month and a half. now I was able to put it together I had to apply pressure on the not the old school key part but the pin directly behind the ignition lock cylinder. It was starting to become an addictive game messing with this thing. Thanks for the info. Now how do I replace the ignition in a 89 suburban. or better yet help me find my keys.. lol

Can do this. But mine had different internals unfortunately so i couldnt do this.
It does not effect the running of the engine. it only sets the RPM where the shift indicator light will flash.
It affects absolutely nothing. I still have the car to this day it's a great car don't get rid of it. When I drive it I drive it like I stole it. This car runs great! You have to drive it hard to burn the carbon off the intake valves I ALSO CHANGED THE OIL EVERY 1000 MILES I USE ROTELLA 5-40 People don't realize it but this is a racing engine. 2011 to 2013 this car is fast mine is 3" pipe from turbo to the rear bumper. Just doing the exhaust 3" hang on .. This cars hp is under rated.

Did you replace the fuel filter by itself.
If you replace the filter by itself it's not primed not holding because the seal is not making a good seal on the fuel filter housing so you have to take it back out and do it agand then run the pump manually to see if it builds pressure it will sound like it's Running into an empty can if it's not sealed.

I follow your step and i can hear the pump is running but still don’t wanna start. Is there a sensor on the rail? I have a 2012 mini cooper s coupe.
Did you change the fuel pump filter? If so you will have to pull it out and make sure the gasket oring is making a good seal . It will not start if it has a bad seal. It will sound like it's sucking air.
There is a high psi fuel pump on the head.
I did check it. It seems still ok. But when i put it back the gasket it does not fit anymore it kind a expand so i cut it a little. You think thats the reason why is not starting?
Are you talking about the O ring inside the filter? Or the gasket outside the housing?
I have a Mini Cooper 1.6 D 2012 no power the the fuel pump so it’s not stating I checked fuse 46 with is the fuel pump fuse it was blown but every time I replace it it blows straight away when in try start would issue your mentioning be causing this problem? Thanks

It worked, used the cigarette lighter in the trunk for power (pin 5, red). For GND, a 7" wire from pin 2 to the 8mm bolt nearest to the pump. Put a 20A fuse in the circuit like you said. No CEL code, running for a week now.

hy there. is the TC actuator CAN bus controlled or analogue? is there any way to hot-wire it for a non touareg aplication?
Can be retrofitted. This car is completely analog but is controlled by its module. You do not need this module as this is a DC motor you can just have a normal polarity switch to either have the clutch pack locked or unlocked. If you need any photos or videos ask.
Been trying to find what size o-ring is on the piston in the cylinder, want to buy a replacement. I just got a saw from harbor freight and the cylinder isn't working. Took it all apart and the o-ring looks improper. The shutoff valve and flow adjustment are working but you can tell the oil is just flowing through the piston. Sure I could return the saw to harbor freight but with travel time and down time on the job it would be way more cost effective to just buy a new o-ring locally(harbor freight is a ways away) or even buy a new cylinder all together. I can get a new cylinder in about 1week. Harbor Freight wants me to return the entire saw and they don't have another on hand so it'll be a 2 week+ wait time for a replacement.
Interesting. About half of this instruction is not right. Would have been a good idea to at least read the manual before making an "instructional" video on the machine.

Hello, i tried it yesterday but after driving around 30km I got following error codes: P0001 "fuel volume regulator circuit / open" and P0003 "fuel volume regulator control circuit low" and besides of that the half yellow engine warning sign is on. Did anybody has this problem too? How can I fix that? Besides of that the car is starting again and running pretty good. So the relay is working how it should be.
I never had that problem. Still runs to this day. Just make sure you use yellow connector because there is alot of amp draw. It will burn up the wire if you use ble or red.
Thanks for your quick response. Originally the DME activates the spool of the relais. Right? Wouldnt it be possible to take the input cable of the DME (PIN 17, green/purple cable, Plus X11008) instead of a normal ground from a screw which goes into the metal of the car? I think the DME signals ground to the pin 85 of the Relais K96 and Plus is coming from the Relais I01068. Then it would be like original. Pin 87 fuel pump white/blue cable Pin 30 plus from fuse 46 Pin 86 signal plus from cigarette lighter Pin 85 ground from dme cable green/purple Does that make sense? Do you know what I mean. In this case the fuel relay gets activated directly from the dme. So the fuel pump wont always run when the key is in and the ignition is on.
@@marcp6778 If the relay green and white wire goes bad on the board. The pump will not work. You will get codes. The video I have where I use the light for on and off signal is your next fixing the fuel pump issue. And yes the relay hook up is right .
