ELEVEN Hybrid Irons Review I FEEL LIKE A CHEAT

- ELEVEN Hybrid Irons Review I FEEL LIKE A CHEAT when using a hybrids over an normal iron design. An iron has got a flat face, limited forgiveness due to the size of the head so putting it up against a full set of Hybrid Irons some say might not be fair. If you can get over the looks as they are big, the sound, as they are very hybrid like, then you could be using the biggest CHEAT code in Golf.

I don't care about looking at shiny small things as much as I like looking at lower scores on the card, but this was very entertaining.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Normally in my content I do a forgiveness section where I test the drop offs from different part of the club face but really didn't see the point with these as they are sooooo easy to use 😊
Thanks for the comment and for watching, don't forget to subscribe and share the channel to all your fellow golfers 👍
I’m a 10 handicap golfer forget the looks if a set of clubs helps my score I’m in !
Golf made easier & better score !
I’m in
i have the wilson launchpad irons and absolutely love them. give me so much confidence after a wrist injury. I play off 10 and have no ego with these types of iron as they are fantastic. highly recommend them for any golfer who wants to hit it straight.
i never asked on your live show about fairway woods. any chance of a specific video on these?
What was the woods question again Pete? 👍
@@AskGolfNut it was more around the correct way to set up and hit them properly. i have developed a tendency to top them whereas before I had no issues hitting them - funny old game. i say something to do with not transferring my weight properly but what do i know
I live across the pond in the colony’s. I bought the whole eleven set on your say so.
I’m NOT a little bit disappointed. 👍
Really glad my content helped you make the right choice for your golf and your enjoyment of the game. That's really what important, making sure people enjoy the game as much as possible 👍🏻
Thank you for reviewing these. I own a full set and love them. It’s cut 6 or 8 strokes off my round and I’m hitting greens and staying in the fairways. The roll and bulge is a huge benefit
You can get the ping 430 hybrids all the way down to seven iron equivalent, if you want ultimate tech
Really glad to hear that you have found a set of clubs that work really well and enable you to enjoy your golf ⛳ 👍
After I converted over to 5W, 7W, 9W a while back, my scores REALLY got better. I would love to get a set of these and test them on myself. If I can get better accuracy / dispersion AND repeatable distances, why yes, count me in.
I couldn't wait for this video! I beleive these are the only irons (lol) that you've tested and never missed the green. They already got my money, bought 5-pw!!! Thanks Jay for the reviews you do and your honesty!!!
When did you purchase them? And have you had them out on the course yet? 👍
I bought them last night after hearing what you said in your live Q&A. You sounded like a little kid trying not to give away a big secret. I love hitting my hybrids. After watching Uncle Mark (lol he's younger than me) a couple years say, more golfers should play more hybrids, the longest iron in my bag is an 8 (32°) which I hit 160 but accuracy/distance dispersion is not very good. I always thought clubs like these would be game changing for MOST everyday golfers. When people watch this video they should pay close attention to your standard deviations on all three clubs, it's UNREAL because you hit them all over the face and it barely affected your numbers.
I bought the full set and love them
@quadl98 Are you still gaming these? Hows it going?
Thanks for this. Yes, for sure would play these. I'm an older gent who needs help.
We all need the help sometimes 👍🏻👍🏻
It would have been interesting to see the difference with your iron as a side-by-side to these when the Clubface was open by 3 degree. Great video… certainly an interesting club.
They have a tendency to go further right. I think honestly if from memory I was hitting them slightly out of the heel which looks further left due to the hybrid faces roll and bulge. This is giving me the forgiving flight coupled with the heel and slightly open face 👍🏻👍🏻
These are a brilliant idea, for any Adult entering golf has a helper and bag full of helpers. It is a very tough when just trying to stay on the fairway.
A purchase of the is a great investment. Even when they find there swing and handicap falling the will hold resale value.
Love your testing Jay and the front to back dispersion is ridiculously good. I've been using i525 (5i-PW retro spec) for just over a year and want to replace my dinosaur era Heavenwood 26* 5h and 20* 3h next so something like these is very appealing for that part of my bag.
As a 69 year old who has been really struggling to hit irons recently, I thought I would give these a try. I just bought the 9iron to start with to see how I get on, really hopeful it will help. Watch this space!!
That's the beauty of this brand doing it this way, golfers can buy a single iron at not a huge amount of money to test if it's right for them. Hope your test goes well 👍
Great video. Very helpful. I find the fixation with looks and sound to be a bit amusing. Honestly, if I could hit the ball that consistent I wouldn't care if the top of the club had a shark fin on it and it quacked like a duck when I hit it!
Absolutely agree and share your amusement! I've just ordered a #7 to experiment with. KR John near Brighton UK
Great review - fun to watch. Ordered a set and Richard was great to work with! Thanks for what you do.
Appreciate the kind feedback 👍🏻 👍🏻
just ordered a #8 on 8.july Can hardly wait for it to come from the UK. Hope it doesn't hit an iceberg!
Jay.... Duuuuude.... I was debating between the Elevens or Stealth HD for my last iron trade. I was using Cobra T-Rails at the time but kept splintering the shafts at the hosels. Maybe I shouldn't have chose graphite shafts...but i digress... I asked you about the Elevens and would you be doing a review. Your Stealth HD review was so awesome demonstrating the design of the weighting yielding not crazy long shots but crazy forgiving irons. Needless to say, I'm currently playing the HD's and love them. I really enjoyed how shocked you were on off-center hits yet still hitting the green. The Elevens take it to another level of forgiveness above the HD's, do you agree? Just basing this off of your reaction to your results v.s. quality of strike. ( I can't wait for the Head-to-Head ) The voices are telling me Elevens are in my future. Right now I'll keep learning the Stealth HD's and keep trying to educate my golf swing. No one does reviews like you, breaking down the strike and explaining the perplexing intricacies of perimeter weighting and how club designers decide, to what extent, how forgiving a club should be. Please take the Elevens on a course Vlog. I am still pursuing results and I don't care if it is a turtle strapped to a stick, if it helps me hit more GIR's, I'll go buy a bag of turtles. Too Bad I can't find a hybrid Putter with as much forgiveness.....
It's close between them due to the HDs being very close to a Hybrid design, but I'd actually possibly give it to the Elevens but it'd be a fun test. Maybe a few shots with my eyes closed 😊
Try the LAB DF 2.1. It is insanely forgiving.
@@rlbjr yes sir... I've researched this putter hahaha.... A. Scott had it in his rotation at one point. the marketing and engineering all make sense. Everyone that does reviews on this putter seem to make a lot of putts. and you are so right about it being forgiving. I would need a 3 year money back guarantee before taking the plunge...
I am very impresse
I order a set 4 to pw
Can’t sait to hit them
Great review Thank you
I got mine also....great high launch and 1 club farther distance...In western Canada
Jay you absolutely need to take those out for a few rounds and see what it does to the score…..reckon a set to 9i will shave an average of 2+ shots off a round. I only game 6-9i now in i230 from MP20 Blade and I can see a future where the hybrids work their way down the bag! 😂
Never thought it would go to a Hybrid PW though..... But wow those are so much fun to use 😊
I mean big brands have done this. Titleist has the T400 and cobra has the T-rails. And a Taylor made has the stealth HD which other then T-rails are most hybrid like
Don't forget the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo.
Jay, thanks for the review. I understand why you hit them at your normal speed but it would have been helpful if you had also done your slow swing speed (which is quite a skill you have!). This set of golf clubs (not irons or hybrids or whatever) are not meant for you but they have the potential to increase the fun factor for high handicappers and seniors by leaps and surely that’s the point. Many of us get enjoyment (and or ego) from shiny toys but for most(?) forgiveness and performance = more fun. Why nou put them in the hands of some of your students and see how they get on?
Hi Anthony, I've done a few more videos since using the Eleven Hybrids as a part of them, also done at differing speeds. If you have a watch through them you may gleam and relate to some of the videos with them in since this review 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut Thanks Jay, i have seen them 👍
I’ve had my neck fused twice. I haven’t golf in 5yrs. I miss it immensely. I was about 7-8 handicap (public course 🤣) 10-12 handicap (country club 🤣). I was thinking of picking these up in hope they don’t dig and more of a sweeper. Please let me know your thoughts? Thanks.
Luv your video! I currently have 5 hybrids in my set make up. 3-8 handicapper depending on the day. 75 years old,
but in excellence health. When do you think these Eleven irons will be available in the States?
They are able to be purchased and shipped to the States. If you contact Richard at Eleven Golf and mention my name and my review, he'll do the best price possible in getting them to you 👍🏻
I am seriously thinking about ordering these clubs....i like hitting hybrids so these might suit me perfectly....i am a 7 handicap at 58 years old...alot of arthritis...so these would make the game sustainable for me i think....what do you think Jay ?...great review your awesome....cheers from Vulcan Canada
If its arthritis in the hands or arm joints then with the TGI graphite shaft it'll go a good way to minimising unwanted vibration and the heads are just so stable.
I know that Eleven are getting very good now at getting their shopping rates extremely low even for sending them across the pond.
If you have any queries by all means reach out to Richard at Eleven Golf and give me a mention, he'll absolutely do his best he can for you 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut thx a bunch....the arthritis is my Hands / shoulders /hips / knees
Mine shipped today….soon to be 69 y/o with a few health issues….in 60 years of golf, played plenty of great looking blades….I am more results oriented and like playing hybrids…can’t wait!
@@rustystokes1404 awesome enjoy cheers
Would like to see a comparison of these against the 923HL/TM HD. My guess is it won't be fair.
My guess you'll be absolutely correct, against 2 flat faced irons it's just not a fair fight in design. 😊
Don't forget to subscribe and share the channel to all your fellow golfers 👍
Hi-ons ! Fun video Jay 😂👍🏻
I thought hybrids were already hybrids blending irons and woods...... Now we have Hi-ons blending irons and hybrids 😂😂
I believe every beginner should start with a set of hybrids. I believe most amateurs should play a set of hybrids. They just make the game more fun. In no other sport do amatuers choose equipment that makes the game harder. But in golf they do.
I bet that the bulge and roll was confusing the monitor's cameras when it was set as an iron. Hence the open face readings on shots that went straight.
This could be true of there was greater radius off the toe than heel as the HMT dots were placed geometrically either side of centre. Quad doesn't see a 3d plane, only a straight line between vector points. So yes with a larger toe radius, this would be possible 👍🏻
Thank you for your amazing videos. When you talked about Tokomo irons, I was convinced that that might be my next set until I saw this video. My driver club speed is now 95mph, and now, being over 50, it is going downhill. I have been pondering what my next set would be. Tokomo 101, Eleven, or something like Wilson Launchpad. My handicap is 14 on good days. Your video on 7 irons 150 yards has convinced me to avoid regular irons. I have owned a Ping G25 for eight years and have had no issues. Do you have any thoughts on iron reliability for these DTC clubs? Do you have any ideas on my next set of irons/hybrids?
I'm a new golfer and after 3-4 years of lessons/range practice i have concluded that I'll never be able to hit irons. I also suck with hybrids but can at least make contact. Think I'm going to buy a 7hybrid to start and go from there😅
That's a shame that you think you'll never get better... I haven't found a swing yet that I haven't been able to turn around and set on the roadway to improvement.
They are possibly the best option out there for high handicap golfers or golfers who just want a boat load extra help 👍🏻
I'll consider it. I've done clinics, have had several coaches for months, tried all of the drills, had practice schedules/routines, etc. After 3 years of effort and no results I have to stop trying to keep my sanity@@AskGolfNut . Compression just wasn't meant for me lol
For someone who hits the iron woods off the heel, how can you hit blades better? Always amused by “pros” saying these aren’t for me even though they seem to work for you! I hope when you get older, your ego will change and you will remember these boring clubs. Thanks for at least reviewing them even if they aren’t for you. Perhaps a normal golfer should review them as well.
Hi James. The point in reviewing them is to showcase who they are for and to show how forgiving the club is. Personally I have too high a club speed to use the hybrid set and I normally hit the middle of the face enough to give me the option to play a different type of iron. These are for the golfer that struggles with head speed or launch angle and needs help with miss hits from all over the face.
Generally I'm single digit mm miss from geometric middle with my set of blades so I don't require the forgiveness.
Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
These clips make golf so easy. Lazus mskes a great set also
Everyone needs to pay equipment that allows them to enjoy the game as much as they can, if that's mainly due to the blade looking good clubs they play regardless of the results of scores, or the golfer that wants to make the game as easy as possible and score the lowest they can buy using Hybrid Iron heads such as these from Eleven... Either way as long as golfers are enjoying themselves, that's the main thing 👍🏻
If I didn't just by a new set of PXGs and Calloway woods, I would've bought these
I love mine.. 😎
Great to hear, everyone loves being a boring golfer 🙂🙂🙂
I’m sure my dad once told me Lee Trevino used to have a full set of woods . Don’t quote me .
I suspect that the one down side for these will be that they are a bit one dimensional. They hit the ball high and straight, that is it - limited ability to shot shape or to hit low ones. But given their target market I do not see that as a down side.
Not yet at an age where I need this sort of help, but when I get there Eleven would be a serious option
Hi Justin, if you are really trying to move them in different directions then they will curve the ball but it's more about the stability of the head when you miss hit with that roll and bulge on the face.
I did a video specifically showing the myth surrounding "workability" if you wanted to watch it, here's the link.....
ruclips.net/video/4m7d8hm5UFg/видео.html
I play in many amateur tournaments with all sorts of golfers from 30 to scratch, and have yet to see anyone who can work the ball like the pros, even though they think they can.
@@keithpanco I have never had a problem working the ball especially left to right off the tee...it is stopping the ball goin left to right which is the problem!
I think that the problem with the higher hybrids is that you can't open the clubface without the back of it interfering
@burmeister5 that is a good point and I think that's why they don't make it in any higher loft than the PW. Although apart from a bunker most high handicap golfers would do well not over complicating their shots with the addition of loft by shaft axis twist.
I'm a great fan of the old term 'keep it simple stupid - KISS' 😊😊👍🏻👍🏻
I'm currently hitting a 2 year old set of Sub70 799 irons....I was down to 5.4 a week or so ago(6.0 currently)....I've no problem using the larger headed clubs. These looks interesting to me.....just a quick look online and it looks like Sub70 is the distributor for these clubs in the UK? I've basically been using 7 iron - 58 degree wedge and everything else is either a wood or hybrid anyway.
Hi, yes 2 different companies however they are housed out of the same building. The HQ is a fitting centre for SUB70 and also a fabrication HQ and distributes Eleven Hybrids to multiple countries 👍🏻
WORKS. Let me say this. I am 70 years old and a fair golfer. I have great clubs, Mizuno 923 Hot Metal Irons, Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Max Fast Irons, Ping G430 Max 10K Driver, Titleist TSR 2 woods & Hybrid, and Calaway Paradym AI Smoke Max Fast Woods and an AI Smoke Hybrid. So with all of those why did I tray an ELEVEN Iron? Just for fun. I wanted to get a driving iron so I ordered the ELEVEN Hybrid 3 Iron. Got it and took it to the range. WOW! whether I put it flush on the fairway or slightly teed it up. BOOM. It was like I launched a missile. I was SOLD and now have ordered the whole set of their Hybrid Irons and Wedges. I will continue to play with my other club sets. These are my retirement toys. TRY THEM and see for yourself.
I shared your comment with Eleven Golf and they are really happy that you are pleased with your purchase 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks and I ordered their 10.5 driver too which I eagerly await!
@billydelashmutt5000 did you use my discount code for the Driver? 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut no but that's OK.
Nice video Jay! Hey, as the clubs progress from 4 to PW, does the face offset too? I personally don’t like when a lofted fairway wood or hybrid tends to offset the face to the left (right hand clubs). My mind wants to see a straight in-line face to shaft, does that make sense? Thanks!
As the loft comes off they go less on set bit off set. So with the PW for example the loft looks on set. As the loft comes off it moves more into in line face to shaft relationship 👍🏻
Thoughts on not having grooves across the whole face Jay? I would think that would be useful in wet/grassy lies, especially on the higher lofted “scoring” clubs
Interesting point Cam. I've hit them a few times outside especially with the PW out of the cabbage, haven't seen any concerning spin reductions so far but that could well be due to the design on the large sole hybrid splaying the grass out of the way into impact 🤷🤔
Clearly these perform in terms of distance, height, descent angle and bulge and roll forgiveness. But how do they feel? Do they fell light and alive? The reason I ask is today at the indoor range with launch monitor I compared my 34 degree forged blade 7 iron with the 87.5 gram Nippon NS Pro Zelos 8 stiff shaft against a Ping G430 7 hybrid with 34 degree loft. It had a 70 gram regular flex shaft. The Ping hybrid felt heavy and dead. It actually performed worse than my 7 iron, though of course that might mainly have been errors in my swing. But one of the club demonstrators at the store also hit it and had the same reaction to it. Having an active, light crisp feel like my 9 wood would be very important.
Hi John, the Ping heads can be built to certain swing weights and also you can opt for the lighter HL head which would liven the head up no end in terms of swingweight. To me the Eleven Hybrids feel a touch light but that, due to me normally playing standard weighted heads in a 120gram tell shaft. 👍🏻
I've had a few people try them and they always seem to grab a few extra mph head speed which I believe is down to the lighter nature of the clubs 👍🏻👍🏻
Would these be a good buy for a person just starting 2 weeks ago after not playing for almost 25yrs as an 11yr old kid. Just want to play casually but eventually play regularly with fun and consistency being my priority. Of course i would pair them with a different set of wedges and driver
Why not, if it's enjoyment you want from golf and you want as much help from the club as, possible then yes you'll be hard pressed to find something more forgiving and easier to hit than these 👍
Has any 20 to 25 handcapa used the Hybrid Iron club
What is the game of golf about? Lowest score you can shoot per hole? Per round?
Enjoyment, and we all gain that from different things, although the biggest one would be shooting lower scores and for that alone you are bang on correct 👍
what are they like around the green, as far as chipping and pitching ? can you hit a flop shot with the wedge ?
I wouldn't use a PW to do a flip shot as the irons go down to PW. They do however make higher lofted wedges to compliment the set of irons. May well be reviewing them very soon, so keep an eye on the channel for that 👍🏻
Would you say these are easier to hit than the jpx Fli-hi hybrids, look quite similar but cheaper
I would say they are as near as possible identical, it's really only a shame that they do them 4 - 7 rather than full set. A shame really as, Mizuno HL have been doing really well and having the Fli-Hi in full set hybrid would really finish off the range completely.
Are the Eleven hybrid irons the only ones with faces that have bulge and roll? It looks like other hybrid irons all have flat iron faces. Also the Eleven irons are made in the UK. I will email them to see if they ship to the USA. The email address of their club builder looks like he is linked to Sub 70, which also makes hybrids in the US, but with lofts only up to 27 degrees. All things considered, it looks like the Eleven hybrid irons are nearly unique.
If you speak to Richard and say you watched my review, I'm absolutely sure he'll do the best possible deal for you with shipping.... I know he has shipped quite a few sets of the Eleven Hybrids over to America 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello I would love to. tried the eleven hybrid golf clubs as a senior player it would be great but do not know how to ordered them also had a couple of strokes on my left side
If you reach out to Richard at Eleven Golf, he is ever so helpful and will be able to happily answer any logistics questions you have. 👍🏻
Around 20 years ago I gamed a set of Ping G2 wood set all the way done to the L wood with stiff shafts. Got a lot of negative comments unit I started to hit them. They were very consistent in length and straight as an arrow. No bending was possible. Driver was at 8.5* and long. Not happy if it didn't drive 290 yards. Longest was 326yards-drove that par 4 to the fringe.
All good things come to an end though. Got injured and had to quit golf for a couple of years. After that I couldn't swing stiff shafts anymore an sold them-for almost what I paid for them!
time to put these in the bag and get into Open Qualifying! 😂
Now only got to work on the rest of the clubs in the bag 😊
Why be a golf snob and worry about the look and the sound. The most important thing is do they work and they certainly do. I'll be in the market for them.
I wonder what would happen with half shots, knockdowns, and flighting the ball.
All depending on the golfers ability to control dynamic loft. Personally I haven't got any issues whatsoever control trajectory if required, but I really like the option to hit it high with the forgiveness that most amateurs could very much do with 👍🏻
you still have to swing the club back and through. don't see how how they can correct a bad golf swing
They can't, no one can, but if your poor golf swing also has poor striking then this is where clubs like this work wonders. It makes the strikes much more consistent..... The bad swing part is always up to the golfer 👍🏻
These would be amazing for the retired gals at my club. Wow.
Absolutely, most ladies that don't swing as hard as they'd like would do very well using a product such as this..... They help with launch and distance and are more forgiving of miss hits due to the hybrid designs 👍🏻
Yes, I shot 4 under par but I don't like the look of them so I won't play them! 🤣🤣🤣
Golfers are very fickle 😂
I wonder if prople are still going to buy blades after this review.
I hope only if they can use them, have a fast enough swing to use the traditional smaller gapped lofts and hit close enough to effective middle to not need too much in the way of forgiveness. In reality I think more golfers really would enjoy golf far more if they used something like these Eleven Hybrids 👍
Hi Jay, new subscriber, very much enjoying the videos. I have a set of the previous iteration of Eleven hybrids and wondered if you could help. Should the smash factor be similar for each of these or us there a progression club by club? I feel I may need to make a new purchase after seeing this review.
Hi Gordon, great to have you as a new subscriber, you caught me just at the right time for me to reply 👍
Normally smash factor or efficiency, increases with loft reducing and decreases with loft increasing. So the efficiency could be around 1.00 with a high lofted wedge, to around 1.34 with an average 7 iron. To 1.47 with a well hit driver (this is very much so launch monitor dependant as they measure at different points so return slightly different measurements).
The fun thing about these clubs is that they are extremely forgiving and fun to use. They are obviously not blades so suffer in the aesthetics department but on balance they are absolutely what I would put in the hands of a beginner golfer and one that suffers from common miss hits 👍
Normally I operate weekly live streams so would be great to have you along for those if you wanted to ask me any questions directly for a more concise answer 👍
Thanks for subscribing 👌
@@AskGolfNutCheers, I shall look out for the live streams.

@AskGolfNut Excellent, thanks. I shall be there.
2 of my friends have the Lazrus hybrid irons and their misses are way better! I might even lose our soda bet eventually!
Anything like this design is definitely going to help golfers that naturally struggle with certain parts of the their game, launch etc 👍🏻
@AskGolfNut Hey Jay, how would these compare to the Cleveland Launcher XL Halos and Cobra T-Rails?
Just got agreements with both of those companies so soon I'll be able to answer this for you 👍
@@AskGolfNut Would definitely like to see that. I'm fine with the looks, so any playing negatives for this style of "iron"? No need to "work" the ball. Just straight and high. I just want to make iron play as easy and forgiving as possible. I have average speed, 78-80mph 7 iron. My problem with irons is my low point control. I know, lessons, lessons. I am. I am currently using older Cleveland Launcher HB irons because the wider sole minimizes the chunks I get with a traditional iron sole. Also, I don't "compress" the ball very well and these hybrid style irons help get the ball up higher and with more spin.
Compare against the Lazus hybrid set please
@@nickmillar9651I tried the Lazrus hybrids. They felt clunky. Not alive.
Jay…what are the head weights and are you hitting your normal length clubs ?
Not sure on the 1st one as they haven't supplied head only weight info, but on the 2nd one, I think they run half inch over what I see as my normal. 37.5" 7 iron in this set is the same as my 6 iron in my set. Although normally very sensitive to length change, I can feel the difference straight away, but with these, possibly due to them looking like hybrids, it didn't feel long at all 🤔
If your normal 6i is 37.5”, most likely the Hybrid heads maybe a tad lighter, but shaft weights were lighter than your std 120g shafts as I recall. My other guess is the lie* are more upright than Miz std 7i lie of 61.5*..if that’s what your spec is, thus a few pulls…Interesting concept.
@sloswingspeed9535 I'm normally 37" at 63.5 👍
Oops..asked before and you answered before😂
You have to take them to the course at least once.
Play only them, no woods, just the hybrids/irons/hybrids/irons 😊 and a putter 😊
Head weights ???
I think circa D2 🤔
you probably accept changes in stuff on a daily basis, no one is forcing you to play these clubs, us older player appreciate that the club manufactures are looking to make the game more enjoyable to us, i personally chose the Cobra option, and my scores have stopped deteriating, lets be honest its about the game and the comradeship in golf!
Lowest score is all that matters !
Would help your game
Anything that makes the game more enjoyable the better 👍🏻

Iron lofted hybrids...
Absolutely the way forward for golfers that struggle with strike, club head speed, getting the ball up in the air and also help stopping on the green.
They are clubs that honestly maybe 50% of golfers would benefit using if they could get over the looks and ego from using Hybrid heads 👍🏻
Do you think the onset leading edge and the roll and bulge could have been giving a missread to the face angle number? It's unlike you to hit every shot with a 3° open face and surely a face open that much is going to fade especially combined with a heel strike?
Hi Robert, I specifically moved the dots closer to geometric centre to avoid any issues with roll and bulge miss reads, but you are thinking on the right level, as when I started getting the face go catch up it did hit straighter so I'm sure the read was right. What is more interesting and more difficult to ascertain is the actual CG of the head and therefore the degree that horizontal gearing would have around the unknown true CG. 👍
I just couldn't.....i just couldn't. Lots of us should but i just couldn't
Maybe paint them chrome 😊

I am ready to take the plunge. I am not the greatest player, but I am around a 12 without playing a lot. I lose confidence with my mizuno blades at the 8 iron 😂😂😂. I have a women’s Calloway 5 hybrid I hit for almost everything. 9-60degrees gimme blades, everything else gimme the hybrid.
I might try the #3
Throw your irons out. Better yet, sell them to a sucker who is stuck in the blade paradigm.
Ego is so detrimental isn't it...
Can be to raw scoring potential, golfers get enjoyment form many things, scoring well is one, and also using equipment that they like it's another. Everyone is different for sure, so if getting more out of your shots and using more forgiving equipment is the way to enjoy the game more, then you can't go wrong with these types of iron designs 👍🏻
Stop stammering and stuttering.
Who and when?
My clubs don't look as good when I'm in the bushes looking for my ball.... Again.... Love my Mizuno MX900's from about 2007, but if these make golf easier screm it!!!
They definitely make the miss hits much more manageable especially with the roll and bulge of the faces. If you are a keen ball striker and fast swing speed then these may not be what that golfer may need. But most golfers don't have a very fast swing and definitely don't hit the middle of the club everytime so these will help the vast majority of golfers 👍🏻
@@AskGolfNut I have a random swing, zero consistency - used to play of a solid 21 but not played regularly for years so it's all over the place now!
I fancy trying these! 🐊🏌⛳️🦅🇺🇸❤️
Speak to Richard at Eleven Golf, he's getting quite good now at arranging extremely favourable shipping pricing to America 👍🏻👍🏻
