This guy is a lot more entertaining than most YT golfers. Has the right mix of explanation and humor. Not too long and not too short … which is a super difficult skill … planning or editing. Hes a solid golfer too (except putting)😂
Had a set of Elevens 4-PW for about 6 months now. I’m 68 and these have got to be the easiest clubs to use ever. The 9 & PW look crazy to begin with then you start to pepper the pin and the love begins Think the guys at Eleven need to add a couple fairways and a Driver and I’m good to go!! ❤❤
I have neoprene headcovers for my Taylormade irons. They are chrome so as I like to keep em that way the headcovers are ideal. No banging together and an added bonus is when the wet stuff comes down the water doesn't go down from the heads into the bag and the grips stay relatively dry.
I’ve been playing golf for a year and I am highly considering adding a few of these clubs into the bag. I currently play off 20hcp and have average club head speed. Why I am considering these? Make the game easier. In most other sports technology and equipment that makes the game easier is considered good. But for some reason golfers seem to be against equipment that can help be better for less effort. I already have the Cobra OL 4h and 5h replacing my 4i and 5i so I am seriously considering picking up the Eleven 6h and maybe even 7h. No shame or pride about it. My best irons are pw-8i, after that I have trouble, why not get clubs that can help? I use game improvement wedges as well. Make the game easier and more fun. Life is too short for a golfer who plays twice a month to not consider game improvement clubs.
Yeah, some golfers really get their head up their ass about embracing technology. I prefer to play with the traditional equipment(golf is a very traditional game and I think that’s where it comes from technology in golf has seriously been an argument since the days of wooden shafted clubs becoming steel traditionalists really had a fit about that one back in the day) but there is a place for equipment like this that just makes the game easier and fun the only time It matters what someone else is hitting is if it’s an illegal club in a sanctioned tournament other than that smack whatever club you got
I have a full set of ELEVEN Hybrid irons. My go to club is the #6. Everybody, or most everybody, has that one club that they can pretty much count on for consistent strikes. For me it's the #6. Maybe because I have always hit a regular 6 iron pretty well.
Hi Alex Great video, I’ve just ordered the 6 and 8 hybrid to try. I’m now looking at their wedges and I’ve decided to buy the sandblaster. Who are their HS CnC milled wedges aimed at, high, mid or low handicapper?
I have a left-handed hybrid putter! It is for putting over some obstacle such as when there is a kidney-shaped green with semi-rough preventing a straight putt.
About a decade ago I had a full set of FORGAN Hybrids. It was before I started taking lessons. I absolutely loved them but eventually learned how to hit irons. It is an interesting shot with a hybrid SW out of a bunker but it can be done. For high handicappers, something to seriously consider.
I used to teach juniors and these would be perfect for young kids just starting out. For anyone that wants to bring their kids out to the course with them and wants their kids to have fun and keep up, these are great alternatives to conventional irons. Of course anyone can play them. This is just where I see them making the most positive impact.
You are the most fun golf youtuber! Though your game currently seems formidable, I can't help but think how dominant you could be if you improved that putting stroke! 🐯
used to use all hybrid cobra now i’m back to forged irons mizuno jpx923 and so far it’s working. i guess it all boils down to the players ease of swing
I've got covers for mine but for two reasons, 1 they are the most expensive ones I've ever bought and the only time I've been fitted so I want to look after them, and 2 they also tell me which clubs I hit or don't use, in case I want to change a club. So sometimes there's tactics involved
Hey Alex, great review on the Eleven Hybrids… I just ordered 3w through pw, looking forward to saying goodbye to my mid to long irons… 9.6 index and trying to maintain it into my late 50’s! (I’ll reference the Gents @ Eleven) Cheers!
Hi hope all is well Question for you i am looking for a more forgiving club that my stealth irons i hit them good but is am slowing down in swing speed will be 60 next March so i wanna get some irons that will age with me I have narrowed it down to 2 sets Takomo 101's and Eleven's hybrid irons i know its apples to oranges but which did you find easier to hit and more forgiving ? 3-pw in the Eleven's is 1225 ( Canadian ) 4-pw in the Takomo's 101 are 850 ( Canadian ) i got my handicap down to 6.5 but i wanna make golf as easy as possible what are your thoughts ? both are straight to consumer so i can not try them thx i look forward to your thoughts cheers from Canada
I would put a 7 hybrid in my bag just for chips and if my ball is buried in 6" of rough. Chipping could become automatic 3'-5' from anywhere around the green and save 2-3 shots a round
Low handicap friend of mine plays the Mazakis, looks so easy, I am getting on a bit so I bought 3 and 4 from Eleven to replace my TM M3 hybrids with a view to moving to a full set, but I just couldn't get them to work no matter what. Lost at least 2 clubs worth of distance. Could be user error but I am a 5 hc! Very confused and dissappointed.
What’s the difference between these and Wazaki, or Forgan or Lazrus or Cleveland or Wilson sets? Quality, price, performance? Is it the hybrid theory itself or is it the brand of the club? Please review. Thank you.
I’ve seen the full hybrid sets tested. But rarely do any of those reviews test them out of the roughs or sand traps. How do various brands respond out of the round and bunkers?
Coming at ya... I used to be like that about headcovers for irons but I found out they sell for more with no bag chatter when I decide that it's the club's fault for my bad play and get new ones. I mean, when you drop over a grand for irons, you gotta recoup a little more than what trade in will get you after a year or two
Ive not played for 20 years, visited the company, spent an hour on their simulator, and was hitting the ball far better than I could have hoped. Bought myself a half set to see how I go
They can joke all they want you’re playing golf and getting the results you want you’re seem to be getting the process down. I’ve been through the same thing when I play my hickory shafted clubs people literally seeing me roll up to the first tea with clubs older than most of there their grandfathers some people give me the who’s this joker we got paired with looks until I literally hit 80 to 100 year-old golf clubs better than they hit their modern clubs then the holy shit looks start to come but 90% of people think it’s cool as hell before I’ve even hit a shot. If it’s not an illegal club in a sanctioned tournament who cares what club/clubs the guy next to you is hitting
If you can afford it, check out the women's Maverik Max hybrids (up to 36 degree) and the new Reva hybrids (up to 41 degree). Game changing amazing clubs. Now if someone would only make these same lofts in a fairway wood I'd be in heaven. Yes, I know a couple of smaller companies make them, but they are heavy heads (Trust me, I bought them) and don't hit that hard if you're used to high end clubs.
I laughed hard at that putting example of Northern Irish greens, in winter mode punched greens. Our joke name for them is Windows Safe Mode .( you can try but the green has limited performance). Great example of the beauty of Hybrid clubs, easy to hit great for slow swing speed hitters. Bonkers when you push the performance out of them.
I've been playing with hybrids for years. I prefer it over irons. I can hit them longer and love them . Always looking for new legit ones being the ones I have are clones. But hey Alex if you dont want them I can take them off your hands.
That was a very interesting review especially as I was watching your putting stroke and it's clear that you need something like a Scotty Cameron del Mar it's not moi that's your problem it's that the flow of the putter you're using is wrong
I had a golf fitting for the 1st time in my life at Club Champion (WORTH EVERY PENNY) and I found I cant hit a hybrid to save my life no matter the shaft or the brand. Turns out I can hit a wood without thinking (got a 7 wood now) and my irons are good. So this bag would UNDENIABLY make me i capable of playing golf 😂
Have these, so so so easy to hit. I went from old Ping Eye 2 irons to these, it was like going from the first motor car ever to driving a Porsche. I don’t have time to practice or play often and these are perfect for that lifestyle.
Ya know Al, when you get tired of playing crappy golf, you should think about STAND-UP COMEDY. I think you missed your calling. Oh, and yes, I have iron covers. I dont like the bag clatter and resale value is much better without all the dents and dings. Great video big guy 😊
I would be so bad with these I have no idea what it is about hybrids but I can’t hit them to save my life so I have to stick to normal irons I wish I could hit a hybrid tho would bridge a nice gap for me from 4 iron to 1 iron
Me too! I thought it was just because I had a cheapo set in regular flex totally not suited to me... but then I had a professional fitting at Club Champion. $1500 setups with the most top tier shafts and every brand head imaginable... nothing same shank everytime. The fitter then gave me a 7 wood, and I striped the cover off that ball lol. That day I found out I should just forget hybrids exist at all 😂 Im all woods now to my irons.
I have Cleveland Launcher HP’s, it’s time for something more traditional looking, I don’t feel comfortable hitting them anymore. I seen covers on irons once, got shivers down my spine and stayed away from that person. 😂 Guy Canada 🇨🇦
I hate that something that calls itself a wedge is 43°. At this point, I feel like we need to bring back the 10 iron and then we make the pitching wedge wear strong A wedges are and then you can still have an approach wedge that's in the low 50°. I feel like nobody questions it that most sets now have a gap wedge and now a low 50s wedge and then a sand wedge. I'm aware how old I sound, but I was born in the mid '90s. And yes my current said is strong lofted
I have head covers on all my clubs, but while I'm playing my driver stays uncovered, because it gets used a lot and it's a pain in the ass to get on and off.
People with iron covers also have to brush their irons after every shot. It gets really tedious to wait for them to brush the iron and replace the cover after every shot. Also, they are completely oblivious as to how they are slowing play while they go through their routine after every shot.
Al, would recommend sticking the Wilson 8802 putter back in the back...I mean...if you are going to putt that badly you might as well look good doing it....🤣🤣
My iron covers protect my hard earned investment as I don't get handed irons to put into my bag several times per year. Nothing worse than looking down at nice irons with horrible bag clatter dents everywhere
I’m visiting the company in a couple of weeks to test them. Returning to golf after 20 years,I want an easy pier return Not looking to win the Open, just enjoy my golf
Took my cobra forged tec irons out and replaced them with the Cleveland Launcher Halo irons...no regrets what so ever and my bad shots are stull in play most of the timem Pride does not help on the scorecard.
Perfect for shanking golfers....like me who even off 4 handicap went into shank everything 3 years ago....soul destroyed. Instead of losing all plot, i got not 11 but the Japanese wazaki all hybrids.....you can't shank them....never looked back 😊 best £350 ive ever spent
This guy is a lot more entertaining than most YT golfers. Has the right mix of explanation and humor. Not too long and not too short … which is a super difficult skill … planning or editing. Hes a solid golfer too (except putting)😂
Im a 5 handicap and i would absolutely play these clubs
My handicap is my golf game, and I regret not buying a full set of hybrids for my first set
Had a set of Elevens 4-PW for about 6 months now. I’m 68 and these have got to be the easiest clubs to use ever.
The 9 & PW look crazy to begin with then you start to pepper the pin and the love begins
Think the guys at Eleven need to add a couple fairways and a Driver and I’m good to go!! ❤❤
Switched from regular irons to TM Stealth HD and it 100% improved my ball striking and distance.
I just bought that exact set.
Love your stuff. Keep up the great content

The health kick is working, looking good mate.
I took my cobra forge tec irons out my golf bag and put set of hybrid irons in. I play so well with them. But they are awful into wind.
Played some of my best golf with Cobra T rail irons.
Hi Alex
Great video, I’ve just ordered the 6 and 8 hybrid to try. I’m now looking at their wedges and I’ve decided to buy the sandblaster. Who are their HS CnC milled wedges aimed at, high, mid or low handicapper?
Got the Cleveland halo and mad a difference
I did too be they seem to hit the ball too high?
Love the content Al. Keep up the great work.
Tried these. Love them.
I've got Adams 6 through 3 hybrids in my bag and love them.
I have a left-handed hybrid putter! It is for putting over some obstacle such as when there is a kidney-shaped green with semi-rough preventing a straight putt.
I started playing Lazrus hybrid irons another direct to consumer brand.
Ralphy is about to hop on a flight and fight you over that headcover comment. Hahaha. Class vid. What a set of clubs, very interesting.
About a decade ago I had a full set of FORGAN Hybrids. It was before I started taking lessons. I absolutely loved them but eventually learned how to hit irons. It is an interesting shot with a hybrid SW out of a bunker but it can be done. For high handicappers, something to seriously consider.
Since you asked, I have head covers on my AS-1 irons. Can't talk me out of that.
I have headcovers for my forged Japanese Honma irons. They're beautiful. I don't care. Don't at me.
Me too, for my Miura irons.
😂😂👍
Me too for my Mizuno Pro 221 blades 😊
Me too, for my Donnay slammers
Me too for my TM P7TW
i have used these eleven hybrid irons through 2023 and have come down from 15 to 11 i would recommmed them.
From 15 to 11' that's really impressive
Fun to watch as usual!
Thanks Roy!
Awesome looking set. Pinhawk has also a full hybrid set from 4 to LW. Me and hybrids unfortunately do not get along well. 😂🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
He needs more collabs
Magic. Just need jumbo max grips on.

I Will say this was your most unexpected and fabulous review ever Al!!!
I had some Cobra hybrid irons. Very straight and high, but very short.
I have the elevens that also replaced a few cobras. I have gained yardage with these vs lost yardage with my old cobras. Well worth the money.
I play a full set of fairway woods 4 - PW. This year will be trying a few hybrids.
Hahaha I never liked headcovers on my irons until I got me new ones 😂 at 3k I figured they were worth protecting even if I get judged
I've got covers for mine but for two reasons, 1 they are the most expensive ones I've ever bought and the only time I've been fitted so I want to look after them, and 2 they also tell me which clubs I hit or don't use, in case I want to change a club. So sometimes there's tactics involved

Would it be possible for you to review the Lazrus hybrids ?
Love the videos Alex! How do they do in a bunker?
Full course vlog coming up with a giveaway! Sure we will find a bunker 😜
William Jamieson a friend of mine at Liberton Golf Club in Edinburgh had a full set of spalding irons which were all hybrids 40 odd years ago.
You should try Lazrus Fairways woods. Like 11, except different brand. Love a comparison.
*GREAT review Alex & good entertainment!*
Any chance you’re going to play a full 9 or 18 with these?? Would love to see how low you could go with these???
I will be 👍
Hi Al, as I may have mentioned before, I have iron covers to protect myself from industrial deafness.
Iron covers are coming back baby!
Hit some on the gcquad . I’m curious about green holding spin

Ben Sayers did a full set of woods (hybrids weren't thought of then) to replace irons about 30 years ago.
Do u have a link to his channel ?
I bought my wife a set of used Powerbilt Ex-550 hybrid irons. Not as high of quality as Eleven I'm sure, but they were $150 for an 8 iron set (4-SW).
Coujd you review the Lazus hybird iron set 4 -ow 399
I can see a set like this in my future...
You need to do a retro review of OG full hybrid set, Wilson Turfrider hollowbacks from the 80s, full hybrid set before hybrid was a golf term
What’s the difference between these and Wazaki, or Forgan or Lazrus or Cleveland or Wilson sets?
Quality, price, performance?
Is it the hybrid theory itself or is it the brand of the club?
Please review.
Thank you.

On that course you should have been teeing of with 8 and 9 irons so you had some full shots on approach instead of 4 hybrid and PW partial shots.
Ive not played for 20 years, visited the company, spent an hour on their simulator, and was hitting the ball far better than I could have hoped.
Bought myself a half set to see how I go
I use 3-6 hybrids in my bag. Love the easy hitting qualities of them. I get kidded by my more skilled friends but I enjoy the results.
They can joke all they want you’re playing golf and getting the results you want you’re seem to be getting the process down. It would help if the greens were actually flat instead of whatever knobbly BS this was lol wtf it doesnt track at all....
Just got a new set of Callaway irons. Fighting the strong urge to put covers on them....
if i get all hybrids, will my friends make fun of me for not having a pair where it matters ?
When you beat them, tell them they can borrow yours
Can’t play them but if I were a senior sign me up great review
I had a golf fitting for the 1st time in my life at Club Champion (WORTH EVERY PENNY) and I found I cant hit a hybrid to save my life no matter the shaft or the brand. Turns out I can hit a wood without thinking (got a 7 wood now) and my irons are good. So this bag would UNDENIABLY make me i capable of playing golf 😂
The PW is a good sand wedge
How you didn't trip up over your laces is amazing! 😂
$2700 for my irons in aus. Yes I’m using covers
Which club is better, the eleven hybrid or Wilson launch pad ?
Both really good. Can’t really go wrong with either but Eleven is more specialised in that area
@@alexetchesgolf thank u
If u could only choose one which would u pick? Which one is more giving or which one is easier to hit?
Hybrid irons are nice if you like a longer shaft with more loft as apposed to a short shaft and a scary steep face
Soooo....big question. These or Celeveland Halos as a set? Cleveland have flat faces, do the Elevens have roll and bulge?
Or Wilson Launchpads. I think Al has even reviewed those too.
I play 3-8 in Callaway rogue st os hybrids and eleven 9 & pw hybrid not sure I will ever go back to irons play off 9
Have these, so so so easy to hit. I went from old Ping Eye 2 irons to these, it was like going from the first motor car ever to driving a Porsche. I don’t have time to practice or play often and these are perfect for that lifestyle.
Head covers help resale value for forged irons. However, I don’t used them on the course-only for traveling purposes. But you know, you do you.
20 years away from the game, a lot older, these are for me.
I’m trying 6 and 8 iron at the moment and finding it hard to hit a really bad shot.
Ya know Al, when you get tired of playing crappy golf, you should think about STAND-UP COMEDY. I think you missed your calling.
Oh, and yes, I have iron covers. I dont like the bag clatter and resale value is much better without all the dents and dings.
Great video big guy 😊
I'd be interested to give these a hit, just for funsies

I hate that something that calls itself a wedge is 43°. At this point, I feel like we need to bring back the 10 iron and then we make the pitching wedge wear strong A wedges are and then you can still have an approach wedge that's in the low 50°. I'm aware how old I sound, but I was born in the mid '90s. And yes my current said is strong lofted
3 handicap and carry 7 hybrid hit it 175
I have head covers on all my clubs, but while I'm playing my driver stays uncovered, because it gets used a lot and it's a pain in the ass to get on and off.
Putter? Used more than driver, most of the time, by double or more.
I paused it at 00:43 just to let you know I have covers on all of my irons and wedges. Every club. Come at me!
Now, back to the show 😅
People with iron covers also have to brush their irons after every shot. It gets really tedious to wait for them to brush the iron and replace the cover after every shot. Also, they are completely oblivious as to how they are slowing play while they go through their routine after every shot.
Mizuno blades deserve that honour ... in fact, all blades. Lol.😂 it's a respect thing.😊
Al, would recommend sticking the Wilson 8802 putter back in the back...I mean...if you are going to putt that badly you might as well look good doing it....🤣🤣
I agree. He was 1-2 feet left on every first putt.
You want to try spa golf club ?
They’re hybrid covers
My iron covers protect my hard earned investment as I don't get handed irons to put into my bag several times per year. Nothing worse than looking down at nice irons with horrible bag clatter dents everywhere
I’m visiting the company in a couple of weeks to test them.
Returning to golf after 20 years,I want an easy pier return
Not looking to win the Open, just enjoy my golf
Lovely mate! Well tell them you saw the video! 👍 they will look after you
Took my cobra forged tec irons out and replaced them with the Cleveland Launcher Halo irons...no regrets what so ever and my bad shots are stull in play most of the timem Pride does not help on the scorecard.
I bought the Cleveland hibore turbos years ago, still in the bag, best golf investment I ever made. 60 years old still playing off 5
How much does it cost they must be high cost
Perfect for shanking golfers....like me who even off 4 handicap went into shank everything 3 years ago....soul destroyed. Instead of losing all plot, i got not 11 but the Japanese wazaki all hybrids.....you can't shank them....never looked back 😊 best £350 ive ever spent
I have covers for my Mizunos
So where is the hybrid putter? 😊
Im just here, in a video about a full set of hybrids, to tell everyone i play miura blades and use iron headcovers 😂
Considering jacked lofts...
As for head covers, I have just spent £500 on new COBRA irons in gun metal with graphite shafts, I use head covers to protect my investment,
😂🤣🤣
Hybrids hey...
You know what I find interesting about a bag full of Hybrids?
They confirm my suspicious you can't get a suntan in Ireland 🤣⛳️🇦🇺
