  • With tickets finally back on sale and events taking place, it's important to pay attention to three major things before you go ahead and start buying those tickets!
Ticket Manifests - as events take place, seats need to be confirmed by the event organizer through what is called a ticket manifest. Essentially, this is a ledger of all tickets that are available within the venue and will clearly identify which seats are able to be sold. These manifests are still constantly changing based on the rules and restrictions taking place, so make sure you pay attention to your seat locations both when purchasing tickets and also before you actually attend your event. Some venues/events are actually cancelling tickets and re-issuing new events because they are in a constant state of flux. MLB had this problem at the onset of the MLB season, cancelling and re-issuing tickets across multiple platforms. Stay informed!
Entrance Restrictions - every single venue has a different requirement on how to enter venues. Some require negative PCR testing, others are simply questionnaires to fill out, and even others may have mask or other type of requirements. Be sure that you are aware of what you need done before getting arriving at the gate so you aren't denied entry! Some seats may also have special restrictions depending on where they are located within the venue so be sure to do your due diligence prior to arrival.
Ticket Transferability - some venues/events/teams are restricting the ability to transfer tickets which can lead to potential issues down the road if you are no longer able to attend your event/one of your friends are late. Be sure to double-check if there are any transfer restrictions prior to purchasing your tickets to make sure that your tickets won't go to waste!

Hey man, just was watching your older vids for ticketmaster presales and I gotta say it has helped me out sooo much with this morning's presale with the Genesis MSG show. Got in there smooth sailing and got out smooth sailing thanks to you! Got them at a really great price and now im looking at prices and they have skyrocketed about 4x the amount for what they were worth in my section and about 10x the amount for front row. Thanks again for your help my man!

Great to you back making new content. On ticket transferability here in NY state we have a law in place where if for any reason mobile tickets cant be transferred then actual hard tickets must be an option. However even though this law is on the books at the Bills playoff games the covid restrictions overruled the law and there was a big article on ticket news.com... so we will see as the ticket landscape is changing rapidly.

Very interesting! I knew vaguely about the transferability requirements in NY, but that’s definitely an interesting one. I think with smaller venues the law doesn’t apply as well (sub 500 capacity or so).

I just bought some tickets in Stubhub and I’m nervous. Its for Rammstein tour in North America, at Los Ángeles. The tickets state the row and everything but I’m still nervous about it. It’s my first time buying tickets online. Is there a risk that I should be concerned about?
    Tickets are mobile transfer

That tour went on sale over a year ago and has been rescheduled, so pretty much all tickets that are listed online are going to be valid and you should have nothing to worry about! Mobile tickets are some of the safest tickets around since once they get transferred over to you and you accept the transfer, they will always be valid. Enjoy the show once it finally takes place! 😁🙌🏽

@@thumbsuprun i just got my tickets transferred to my Ticketmaster account, is that a good sign? Even though it said they would be ready until a couple days before the event

Yep that’s excellent news! Most sellers will list the latest possible date for delivery to give them time in case there is a delivery delay. Sellers will deliver earlier though when they will be paid on delivery by the exchange. Accept your transferred tickets and you’re set!
