Hi guys, we've been to the restaurant you recommended in Catania (La Pentolaccia) and this one in Palermo. We absolutely loved them both! In fact, we mentioned to the owners from La Galleria today that we went there through your recommendation. They were surprised and happy to learn their restaurant was mentioned in your video. Bravo e grazie mille. ❤
How amazing!! Glad we were able share good tips and help those businesses. The food was incredible, so they deserve it 🙌 Hope you had a great time in Sicily! PS: not sure how I totally missed this comment for so long, but thanks so much for sharing!
Palermo looks like such a fun, happy, interesting place to visit - I wanna go there right now! Thank you for sharing such a great video with us - LOVED it!! 💕💕
Hi! Excuse me, I'm a teacher in high school, my mother and her parents were born in Palermo and I want thank you for your beautiful video about my charming city , but...let me give you some clarifications that you can easily find in Wikipedia: Bourbons are NOT from Kentucky: the House of Bourbon is an ancient French dynasty. About Swabians: the name derives from the medieval Duchy of Swabia (in the south of modern Germany). The Hohenstaufen dynasty ruled the Duchy of Swabia for centuries: in 1186 Henry VI Hohenstaufen (son of the more famous Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa) married Constance, posthumous daughter of Roger II Hauteville, the last Norman king of Sicily. The son of Henry and Constance was the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II Hohenstaufen, also King of Sicily, King of Germany, King of Italy and King of Jerusalem, now buried in Palermo, his favourite city. So, for few years, Palermo was the most important city of Europe!
hahaha thanks guys! Likewise. We watched a couple of your videos a few days ago and LOVED them. So much hard work and detailed info. And we both have the love for Turkey in common. We watched on TV and couldn't comment, but seriously great stuff! We subscribed ❤️
Thanks so much for watching! ❤️ We're not filming this time in Turkey 🙈 It's been more of a work trip this time. But we have plenty of old Turkey videos. I think 45 or so hahaha however, they are not our best work 😂 Sending big hugs back 🥰
Aww, man, the food in this video looked awesome. And what's with the poor dude with the arrows in him?! Another great video, and it's great to see you back. 💛
Palermo has epic street food! The gelato in a brioche really needs to make its way to other parts of the world - it's a game changer 😎 and apparently San Sebastiano was the fall guy for whatever happened in that story...
Palermo is amazing , as the entire Sicily , hope they realize that a clean environment means business and prosperity , they deserve it after many decades of decadence , the south of Italy have a lot to offer , love from le Marche 🎉❤
Hi! We were in Palermo November 14 - 20. And in Sicily through early December. We had some cool(ish) days and a tiny bit of rain, but it was gorgeous for the most part. You're going to love it 😎
How great you are going to Italy! Most of our Italy videos have PDFs with links to a custom Google Map that includes some accommodation recommendations and a link to the Airbnb we stayed at 😉
Hi! I want to start by saying that my girlfriend and I are huge fans of your videos! We’d love to invite you to visit Tbilisi, Georgia. We think you’ll absolutely love it ! We’re currently studying here and would be thrilled to show you around or recommend places for you to visit. 😊
HI! thanks for the invite 😃 we would love to visit Georgia, but I think it will be some time until we head back to Europe. We'll let you know if we're ever headed in that direction! Cheers 🍻
@waysoftheworld_ Hey! Sorry for the super late reply, it's been a busy couple of months. Thanks for getting back to me! Whenever you're ready to explore Tbilisi, just let us know... we’d love to show you around and share some hidden gems here. Take care and safe travels until then! 😊
I just returned from Palermo and had a very different experience. The city is filthy, garbage and trash everywhere. Motorbike will run wild with no rulesm crossing a street or walking down a narrow street is an adventure. Your head has to be on a swivel. Flights from cities into Palermo charge outrageous fees for baggage a $100 flight can turn into $500.
Sicily's cities are chaotic, and we love it. And yea, there is trash - which they could do better with - but it's all what you choose to focus on. Palermo, Napoli and Catania were the cities we thought had the most soul. Also, the luggage charge really has nothing to do with the city itself.
Hey Justin, we are doing fine. We were/are busy working on some things in the background to help supplement our RUclips income. While YT is growing, it's still a bit of a financial struggle. So unfortunately that has meant not posting for some time. We will be back on RUclips in a few weeks, thanks for reaching out and being patient with us 🙏
All that matters is that your both okay and I understand about the struggle and never to this day understood the RUclips algorithm whatsoever sometimes it's nice to people and most of the time it is not but I can't wait to watch more videos in the future @@waysoftheworld_

Italian food is best
It's amazing, you really don't have to overthink Italy... Aperol Spritz -> Food -> Repeat 😂 I don't know if it gets any better!
Palermo for sure has a lot of energy! Fantastic video. I also like the nature that surrounds Palermo. The hills & mountains are very picturesque!

My Grandparents came from Palermo on my dad side in the early 1920s
Cool! I hope you get to go (if you haven't already). Palermo was one of our favorite cities that we visited in Italy 😎
Thanks for this great video. It brings up so much memories from Palermo . Such a lively and yummy city but sadly not very clean .
That would be toooo much

Super lively! It's cool to see how different the energy is in different parts of Italy. We loved how warm the Sicilians were 😎
Well done! Cool video!

How can it not be fun , when you are eating rice balls and ice cream. 😂
Loving your work guys! Just wondering what dates you were there please, as I’m going in December this year too.
Cheers from Australia

Hi. Great video. Thank you.
Thanks, Hyde! Hope you're doing well 😎
I really like your videos...heading to Italy in the late fall...it would be great if you had some recommendations about accommodations.
How great you are going to Italy! Most of our Italy videos have PDFs with links to a custom Google Map that includes some accommodation recommendations and a link to the Airbnb we stayed at 😉
When we visited our relatives in Sicily in 2000 we traveled all over but we didn't go to Palermo. When we asked why, they said, Mafia! 😮

Everyone waxes lyrical about Sicily but I lived there a year and the mafia suck
Hmmm awful breakfast brioche w gelato that for dessert
Where is all the garbage on the streets? You are giving a false view of the reality of Palermo.
Correct - Palermo is full of grit - recently invented by the Americans!
