I saw this tour when it came to Dallas. 6th row center. Back in those days people would not rush the stage or mosh, or anything disrespectful to the other fans. Great vibes and unity.
I was 15, and this show changed my life…opened my heart and soul to different to real rock. I’ve seen Page 4 times. Always leave with a big grin that stays for days. Seen Plant many times, and you feel it in your every bit of your being.

My opinion & many many others say he’s the greatest guitarist, all 4 are the GOATS of their individual crafts, & the GODS of ROCK BLUES & other genres. You can’t go wrong with any of their songs, it’s harder to pick your favorites, because whichever one you are listening to usually is. More blues type, I can’t quit you baby* the lemon song* when the levee breaks* bring it on home. Excellent songs, dazed & confused* in my time of dying* the rain song* Achilles last stand* Kashmir* all of my love* ten years gone. I could keep listing them, but these can get you started.

When I talked about him being underrated, I meant underrated by me. I've seen him get love all over, but it wasn't until I started actually doing Zeppelin reactions that I understood why.

Led Zeppelin’s first 2 albums are on the blues rock side, these guys love the blues, & was their biggest influences. Jimmy has solos in just about every song, though John Bonham & John Paul Jones have their solos too. These guys blend so well together, their live performances Jimmy & or Robert love to improvise, & the others meld right into it. Every live performance is different, same song same venue, just a different nights performance. Don’t wait so long to delve into more, you’ve missed out for to long already.

In my opinion, their best blues song is Tea For One, but you'll have to listen to the studio because they never played it live. Another style you may not have heard from Zeppelin are ballads. In my opinion, The Rain Song is their best and I would again recommend the studio because, while they did play it live, I don't think it fully captures the subtle nuances like the studio does.

I'll have to take your word for it for how Jimmy is offstage, because on stage he seems far from shy and introverted lol. I can definitely see why he would say he goes into a trance because you can easily see how into the performance he is.

@@NavyDoc5184Reacts I think he’s really only comfortable, when he’s got a guitar in his hands, on interviews he seems on the shy side. When playing, you can see his passion, it’s like he’s making love to the guitar.

@@NavyDoc5184Reacts Ha yep indeed his charisma & his passion come out big time on stage & i will have to totally agree with @sicotshit7068 bout the makin luv to his guitar he even said it to an audience once "I'd like to introduce you to my Mistress" then went & got his guitar & i only know he is shy & introverted again like @sicotshit7068 said by seeing him in interviews & in one interview i saw he actually said it himself anyway hope ya will enjoy your musical journey!

How you doing Doc?, USMC '76-'92.
You're a young man, if you were an old fart like me you'd have a different opinion. I've been listening to Jimmy since his Yardbirds days back in the sixties.
Listen to "The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song" from this same show. Gotta do both together, it's a 14 minute masterpiece.
