As this chapter of GDELB closes, yet another chapter is opened. Welcome to the first instalment of the initial research phase of our approach to anaemic gaming. A field of study not yet explored for the first time by ANY other astro gamers.
But first, a brief foray into the minds of citizens back in the early 2021, the culture surrounding that year and the hardships of that year and it's citizens.

At first, I thought the longman was really spoiling us with two releases in a month. Then I remembered that GDELB is produced by Mooper, who is a totally different person that releases annual, in depth, celestial, epik game reviews….. in my opinion.

I loved the Fringy Song in the background, also I cant believe how well Mooper is able to string all these random nonsensical quotes together.
It's like watching a master artist purposely explore the depths of just how terrible the craft can be and emerge with something so lovecraftianly horrible that it makes you wonder just how high they could reach if they went in the opposite directions. These are great, though, I love them.
To me, it's a bit more like looking around and realising the crystals you sprinkled on your eggs at breakfast an hour ago weren't NACL but LSD.

My Dear MauLer; Usually, I am able to follow your well researched critical analysis of topics that are increasingly relevant, thought provoking and of earth shaking importance.
However, following this, my first foray into watching your acclaimed GDELB series, I've come to believe that either;
a. - I have not taken sufficient meds yet today
b. - I've taken far too many meds today, or
c. - I'm taking the wrong meds.
I've therefore elected to triple my dosage of meds (with higher active ingredients) prior to viewing future GDELB episodes and use Jameson Irish as chaser vice Jack Daniels.
I'm confident this will enhance my comprehension of episodes yet to be viewed.
Of course, liked and subscribed, in an effort to ensure I will still be able to find this channel, following consumption...

I find it incredibly interesting that someone who is so talented at and dedicated to logical analysis is able to toss it aside and make a video like this. At the least, it’s impressive. At the most, it’s pure magic. I wonder if it’s slightly cathartic. It can be exhausting to always be on.

I saw "Wandavision" and forgot what day it was, so I got my hopes up for a real Wandavision review.
Then I saw GDELB and remembered what day it was and got my hopes up again

The moviebob-formatted posters, the bell notification ding being 200% louder than everything else and Fringy doing the Scheming Weasel tune is all perfection. I'm disappointed he pronounced "sadism" correctly though, and not like "sad-ism".
IMMINENT DEATH over Hassan calmly eating his nuggie bowl also made me choke.
I can't believe Fringy was the one who composed and sang Sheeming Weasels.

Your idea that they will damage control in DS:MoM is based upon a faulty premise. That premise being assuming that the show runners think they did anything other than a stellar job in Wandavision. Its the same trap that people thinking the second season of the Wheel of Time tv series will course correct the problems with the first season.

Yeah, he said GDELB is no longer happening in one of the recent-ish EFAPs.
I always imagine someone watching GDELB without knowing anything about EFAP.
There's a chance they'd take it as the most insightful video essay they had ever watched.
That's me. I'm so confused right now aside from knowing that EFAP is a thing that exists.
I send these to my friends every now and then. They fear that Ive been diving deep into the weird parts of youtube again.
it happened last year with a video essay subreddit. they thought it was the greatest video essay of all time, until somebody pointed out to them who made it. after that it suddenly sucked. this was shown on an efap episode.
I have watched GDELB for, what? 5 years now, while only watching like, maybe 5 episodes of EFAP.
It isn't necessary, this one is I'd say ... more EFAP dependent than prior years, but anybody who has at least been around for the evolution of GDELB will still get it, in my opinion

The EFAP gang did a whole breakdown of the show! Very good episode, and I believe most of what Mauler and others wanted to say about the show was covered.

Madvocate has a fantastic video on it and the ECUM gang have also done some good work covering it, and the fandom menace gang has also covered it pretty extensively and that's worth a watch if you can handle the woke crying. As for Mauler I don't expect he will do a video on the show, from what I remember he doesn't want to touch the show more than they already have because he doesn't have the passion for it.

Nope! It was Ty's TV or something like that when they were reacting to Jay's take on Zack Synder saying all superheros are murderers and money launderers. That guy was also the origin of the "someone needs to find this kid and smack him in the mouth" and the "nice pink" I believe. Pretty sure EFAP covered that on the multimedia medley episode, in case you want to go find it!
