    *@**0:44** ~ It seems like the doors lock indication color should be the opposite of what it is on this aircraft. Red should mean that it’s locked, and green should mean that it’s unlocked. But it’s not that way on this plane.*
    I understand The reasoning of having it the way it is. When the doors unlocked they have it is red because it’s a warning that there is a potential problem with safety because the door is unlocked. The color red is telling you to stop and inspect the door more. But it seems so unnatural. And this is even worse on a big airplane that may have a automatically inflated slide for the passengers to go down. The color scheme just doesn’t seem very natural to me.

      And I think this is why the Caravelle wasn’t a success. Also French, anything ok had a red light in the cockpit and anything of concern was illuminated green.

      It’s a status indicator I work as cabin crew on these aircraft green means it’s ok red means it’s not ok you don’t have red traffic lights for go and green for stop it’s the same principle.

      how ironic, but it will abruptly stall if it passes through an single cloud on one of its wings.

      Yes because I recently worked a flight on an atr where the service door seal was so badly worn the light was coming through I wouldn’t say it’s better💀

      Dragan Beljan modern versions of the ATR don’t have that mechanism now... it’s rather ancient.

    1:12 isn't it weird that on one side the handrail is automatically deployed while on the other side you have to install it manually?

    • @HS-PGX
      @HS-PGX 2 года назад +1

      Nowadays it is deployed automatically. Maybe they just designed it differently back then.

    • @HS-PGX
      @HS-PGX 2 года назад +2

      Just did some research, apparently it was designed like that so that in an emergency, passengers can evacuate more quickly, by jumping out of the sides.
