Very informative and straight forward. I bought a cb performance maxi 30 pump, so I am not required to plug the pump. However this helped me understand how to run the oil lines. I went with a 30 mm pump, because I would like to tee off of the take off plate to the filter, which will then connect to an auxiliary cooler. The other branch off of the tee will go to an oil restrictor, which will then, in turn feed a turbo. The bigger pump should give me a little extra oil pressure to feed all of my...accessories.
Yea, I was curious why he says 3/8" is best for flow, which is a much smaller ID than pump in/out holes. He also says 3/8" = AN10, which is not correct, should be AN6. I'm going with AN8 (0.5" Hose OD and 0.45" ID) using an IN/OUT pump faceplate.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, I AM BUILDING A 1776 now and needed to make sure I was headed in the proper direction!

Bruce Wayne had an amazing butler and a decent mechanic at that 👌🏽
Very useful video with detailed instructions.. good work chap!
did you ever get around to placing the AN fitting on the return? Run into any issues?
Thanks for your Video, VERY HELPFUL. Thanks Happy Holidays
Nice video, thanks for the info and adding the tools you used. IMHO 15.5 mm hole is way to big. Should be 9/16”(or 14.5mm) for a 3/8-18 npt.
Straight to the point and well explained. Thank you
what's the reason for mixing bsp and npt, instead of sticking to just one? also, how do avoid getting swarf in the oil gallery when drilling the hole?
Not bad for a pom - nice video no fluff or BS - just straight to the point
Nice Video well presented And Verry Informative , Im Going to Do this Mod Too Bess
How do you keep from getting metal fillings from getting inside the engine?
Fill holes with grease and suck out the grease when done. .you must be very careful not to get any ANY, filings into galleries
What's the hole below the hole for?
My exact question
Hi, I have a question, can I make this modification to my 1600cc engine with factory camshaft ????
Yes. I did the modification to my 1600cc about 5years ago. Works good has more oil capacity and runs a little cooler.
Very helpful... Thank you
Cheers mate
case inlet too small-should be same size as pump outlet

Where do you expect Americans to find BSP?
