*The Enigmatic Forest Border of Fangorn* At the threshold of Fangorn Forest lies a region both storied and perilous, known as the Eaves of Fangorn. This liminal space marks the meeting of open plains and ancient woods, a place where the light of the sun gives way to the twilight of towering boughs. Fangorn Forest itself, vast and impenetrable, is steeped in legend, home to the Ents and haunted by the memories of ages long past. Yet it is at the eaves where its mysteries first begin to whisper, drawing both the wary and the bold to its shadowed edge. The Eaves of Fangorn stretch along the northwestern bounds of the forest, where the plains of Rohan ascend into gentle hills and rocky outcrops. Here, the land grows wild and untamed, a stark contrast to the tended fields and homesteads of the Riddermark. The trees, though sparse at first, rise abruptly in stature, their trunks wide and gnarled, their leaves forming a canopy that casts a greenish gloom even at midday. It is said that these trees are but the outliers of Fangorn, scouts of a forest that watches and remembers. The strategic significance of the Eaves cannot be overstated. For the people of Rohan, it is a boundary of their realm, a natural barrier against foes from the north and east. For Saruman, ensconced in Orthanc, it represents a potential highway for his legions, as well as a source of timber for his war machines. And for the Elves, it is a reminder of their diminishing presence in Middle-earth, a place both sacred and sorrowful. Many a patrol of the Galadhrim has ventured here, seeking to safeguard the ancient woods from the encroachment of industry and malice. Historically, the Eaves of Fangorn have been the site of numerous skirmishes and tales. During the War of the Ring, it was here that Merry and Pippin first encountered Treebeard, leading to the awakening of the Ents against Saruman’s machinations. Yet other stories, less widely known, speak of battles fought in the shadow of the trees, where the forces of light and darkness vied for control of this pivotal ground. The very earth here seems imbued with the echoes of conflict, the roots of the forest drinking deep of both rain and blood. The flora and fauna of the Eaves are unique, blending the familiar with the uncanny. Hardy grasses and wildflowers grow alongside creeping vines that twist unnaturally, as though reaching for unseen prey. Birds sing here, but their melodies are tinged with an edge of warning, and the rustle of leaves often seems to carry a voice not entirely of nature. Travelers speak of unseen eyes watching from the shadows, of a presence that seems to weigh upon the spirit. Whether these tales are truth or merely the imaginings of weary minds, none can say for certain. The Eaves of Fangorn stand as a testament to the enduring power of the natural world in Middle-earth, a place where time seems to slow and the cares of the modern age are held at bay. Yet it is also a place of danger, where the unwary may find themselves ensnared by forces both mortal and magical. To journey here is to walk the line between light and shadow, to feel the pull of both hope and despair. It is a place where the fate of Middle-earth has been, and will yet be, decided.
Hey man! Just been watching this video and wanted to share a helpful tip: The upgrades you can cast from the Hidden Sanctum can affect more than one battalion! If you clump them together in one spot, I think you can affect 3 or 4 battalions, even. 👍 Anyways, liking your style! Been doing a few vids on Lothlorien myself. I normally don't play with 4k start, but your video is encouraging me to try it again. Thanks for the content!
@@LetsBFME For sure. I just played Lothlorien again and it really does work like that! Very cool feature. I've noticed that the spell for Rohan, the one that turns your troops into cavalry, works the same. Quite good fun having a small force of cav at your disposal when you didn't a moment before!

I'll try that next time, but the description suggests that that is not what is intended. We'll see what happens I guess!
