*The Hidden Secrets of Taur-en-Morvith's Enchanted Glades*
Taur-en-Morvith lies in the southern reaches of the great forest of Greenwood the Great, a land that has borne many names and faced countless perils throughout the ages. Long before the rise of Dol Guldur, the region was known for its serene beauty, where golden sunlight filtered through the ancient canopy, and clear streams wove their way through moss-covered stones. Its name, Taur-en-Morvith, signifies the Forest of Black Shadows, a title given in darker days, when the Necromancer's stronghold arose in the south and cast its malign influence upon the surrounding lands.
The geography of Taur-en-Morvith is both a blessing and a curse to those who traverse it. Towering oaks and beeches dominate the landscape, their roots entwined with the earth in a vast, labyrinthine network that makes large-scale movement perilous. The forest floor is uneven, dotted with rocky outcroppings and shallow depressions that flood during the rains, creating treacherous marshes. Hidden glades and clearings are scattered throughout, providing both refuge and ambush points for those who know the lay of the land. To the north, the trees thin into rolling hills, while the southern border is marked by a deep ravine, a natural barrier that once served as a defense against marauding orcs.
In the time of the Woodland Realm's height, Taur-en-Morvith was an integral part of the Elves' dominion, a place of peace and harmony. The Elves, skilled in the arts of healing and preservation, tended to the forest with great care, ensuring its vitality and balance. They built no great halls here, preferring to dwell among the trees in harmony with their surroundings. The songs of the Eldar echoed through the woods, a music that seemed to blend with the rustling leaves and murmuring brooks.
However, the coming of Dol Guldur to the south changed the fate of Taur-en-Morvith. The forest became a battleground, its glades and clearings marred by the footprints of war. The shadow of the Necromancer brought with it foul creatures-spiders of monstrous size, packs of wargs, and marauding bands of orcs who sought to carve a path through the woodland. The once-peaceful streams ran dark with the blood of skirmishes, and the forest's green glory seemed to fade beneath the pall of war.
Taur-en-Morvith's strategic value lies not only in its natural defenses but also in its position as a gateway to the Woodland Realm. It stands as a bulwark against the forces of Dol Guldur, a vital shield protecting the Elves' stronghold further north. For the servants of Sauron, the conquest of Taur-en-Morvith would open a path to deeper incursions into the forest, threatening the heart of the Woodland Realm itself. Thus, the Elves have fought tirelessly to defend this land, their determination rooted not only in duty but in love for the woods that have sheltered them for countless ages.
The tales of Taur-en-Morvith are many, woven with threads of valor and sacrifice. Here, the Elves have waged their war not only with the strength of arms but with the cunning and wisdom born of centuries. They have laid traps for their foes, turned the terrain to their advantage, and employed the forest itself as an ally. In these woods, a single archer might fell a score of orcs, and a hidden glade could turn into a deadly ambush. The Elves' intimate knowledge of the land has been their greatest strength, allowing them to hold Taur-en-Morvith even in the face of overwhelming odds.
Yet, the cost of this defense has been great. The forest bears scars of battle, its trees charred and felled, its streams sullied. The songs of the Eldar are now tinged with sorrow, a lament for the beauty that has been lost. Still, the spirit of Taur-en-Morvith endures, a testament to the resilience of the Firstborn and their unyielding resolve to stand against the darkness.
In the annals of the Woodland Realm, Taur-en-Morvith is remembered as a place where light and shadow perpetually clash, a land that has withstood the malice of Dol Guldur and remains a beacon of hope amid the encroaching dark. Those who tread its paths do so with reverence, for they walk on ground consecrated by the courage and sacrifice of the Eldar, who have fought to preserve the beauty and sanctity of the forest for generations to come.

Do you use Steam lossless scaling frame generation to get a higher refresh rate in these matches? Or is this 30 fps?

I do not use the Lossless Scaling utility on Steam, AMD Fluid Motion Frames, or any other similar real-time method of frame generation. The games are hard-coded to run at 30 FPS, and so strictly speaking I play and record them at 30 FPS. I then use a technique called optical flow frame generation during post production to bring the final product up to 60 FPS.
