    this is a great video, but you need to change the monetization settings so that the ads play before or after. getting blasted by an ad 5m into a yoga routine is not my idea of a good time. the workout is incredible though. its still in my list, but if it happens a couple more times i'll probably take it off my playlist and switch to something where the ads are configured more appropriately to the purpose.

    If I’ve just begun with yoga, it’s normal not to be able to do some poses and what counts is still trying and pushing yourself as much as you can..right? Because some poses are just harsh and I can be a little too judgy toward myself for that:( loved this video btw, I could follow your simple instructions even without peeking at the screen all the time :) x

      Hello Natalija, thank you for practicing with us and great questions! First off, replace your self-judgment with self-love!! You are doing a great job and know that the hardest part is getting started (so you're already well on your way). It is absolutely normal that certain poses are easier than others, but no - you don't need to push yourself as hard as you can. Listen to your body, be ok with what you're currently capable of, and view what's not yet accessible for you as a goal to work towards over time.

    This might be a strange/stupid question, but how can I tell the difference between any pain I'm feeling or if it’s just the burn?

      This is actually a great question! In yoga, teachers will often talk about 'the edge' - where you're challenging yourself but not pushing your body beyond it's limits (resulting in pain or risk of injury etc). So it becomes a practice of tuning into what your body is telling you. If you're challenging yourself and your muscles are working hard, that's ok! But if you're experiencing any pain or discomfort, that's your cue to back off. We hope that helps! Namaste

      Absolutely, Bharathi! Having a strong body helps support long hours of standing. It's also important to have a strong core and glutes to protect your low back from standing all day.
