Yoga For Leg Strength | Intense Leg Workout

  • This class is a hybrid between Vinyasa Yoga, and repetition style leg workout. It combines the fluid movement and sequencing of vinyasa, with repetitions of intense leg moves. You will fire up your muscles, and build strength in your legs!

    I love that you put up this video even though you weren't at your 'best' with some of the movements. So often videos are edited so much, and with so many takes, that it looks like the instructor is hitting every move and rep perfectly, when that's just not the case.

    I really love what you do. I look for movements that will help with my coordination and balance, but I also need the intensity in order to get the most out of my workout time.     I've been using this as a leg workout weekly for close to a year and I can say my legs are bigger and stronger than they have been in over a decade. I've slowly been increasing reps, and adding variations too. Great workout!

    Love the pace! For someone new to yoga and not very good at the meditative aspect, this was a perfect balance of intensity and flow.

    Every time i take your fitness classes i ended next day with a lot of growing pain… and that’s amazing!
    Question: you do another type of workout for get that fit chest and shoulders! O really love how you look.

    Nice intense workout! I started this when I was cold and unmotivated and I really wanted to go back to sleep. But by the end, I had a lot of energy and I felt so much warmer! Thank you, Josh!

    Today was my 6th repetition of this over 3 weeks. First week I could only do the first round with easier versions.
    Now can do full class with easier squat version, fast improvement. Thanks Josh.

    Loved the workout! And thanks so much for using original Sanskrit names and calling it whenever you deviate from the traditional yoga practice - that shows respect to the original form plus modifying is great because it lets us achieve other goals. Namaste!

    You're going a little too fast, otherwise the workout would've felt much better, I one was to feel the slower movement in transitions

    Thank you for this class, Josh. It was just what I needed. I've added it to my weekly watch list. I enjoyed the focus on the muscle fatigue combined with vinyasa. I would love more classes like this. 30-45 minutes is perfect. I can combine this with one of your core classes (something I do at least once a week, I love it so much) and still have time for my meditation time. I appreciate you and your family so much!     This was my first time doing yoga with you. I really like your style and it was a great workout with a stretch. The only thing I would like to add so you can help grow your channel is to get rid of the commercials. They are quite distracting and I am not always in a position to skip them while I’m doing some of the poses. I say this because I usually pick channels that don’t have commercials. Thanks so much for this yoga workout.

    Hello Josh! Thank you for a beatiful training. Ive been doing it for more than a week and my legs are much stronger. If you make the streching part longer, it can be even a better workout. Since we work on our legs intensely having longer streches may be healthier.

      Happy to help! Maybe skip those sun salutations then - do some jump squats, running in place, jacks or other leg moves to warm up.

    The vinyasa dramatically increases time-under-tension which really adds that burning oomph to the movements.

    I have been doing this for a month now every alternate day though.. I appreciate how beautiful this session is combined with non traditional exercises with yoga.     nutrition definitely....i do a lot of yoga and spinning and eat pretty well but to quote my partner....my legs are still 'wiggly' (!) would like more help with this for sure. Also nutrition based help for specific needs would be really helpful - i.e. great skin, metabolism boost, etc etc.
    Thank you for the video - hoping these will help my wiggly bits :D

    Thx Josh! this class has been challenging to me! It would be great some videos about the correct alineation of some postures, and for other side, I would like to know about the types of mats, I need some one new, but don´t know about materials or that things.
