  • For a Smoother Steering Performance. Driving with a worn drag link assembly can affect your Jeep Wrangler JK’s steering, so it’s a good idea to replace your damaged component with this RedRock Drag Link Assembly. This high-quality component is made to strengthen the link between your vehicle’s pitman arm and tie rod, so you can steer your vehicle properly no matter where your drives take you. It also prevents uneven tire wear, keeping your rides smooth and stable as a result.
Heavy-Duty Construction. Crafted from high-quality steel, this drag link assembly boasts an incredible toughness that can handle years of abuse. It also comes covered in a resilient powder coating that protects it from rust and corrosion. With this drag link assembly, steering your Jeep Wrangler will be a breeze even when you’re out hitting the rugged off-road terrains.
Straightforward Installation. This drag link assembly is designed to fit your Jeep’s specifications, so it installs just like your vehicle’s stock drag link assembly. However, to ensure a proper installation, the task must be done by someone with moderate mechanical skill or higher. If you have no experience installing a drag link assembly, it’s in your best interest to let a qualified mechanic install it for you.
Application. This RedRock Drag Link Assembly fits all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.

I was in the same situation on the pitman arm, I had to cut it off with an angle grinder.

Is this a factory replacement,? Will it be good with a lifted 4” lift?

This will work with lifted Wranglers. That is a more aggressive lift height which may wear on this option faster than expected because of the harsher angle. I would recommend to look into drag link flip kits or drag links that are specifically for 4 inches of lift for the best performance. -Merideth

Measure them next to the ones you took off to get the correct length.
Why are they not Castle nuts with the new unit ? I would not be comfortable with vinyl nuts.

Take the screw off completely first, then put back on, so you get it by those rusted threads, else it will spin once you knock it out, and you will not be able to get that Alan wrench in the rusted top of that screw.
