She breaks down the move step by step, which is really a combination of a plank, a push-up, a squat, and a jump. Charlee guides us through form cues on every part of the move, and give us some great modifications. Watch now to up your burpee game, or to learn how to do it! #burpees #howtodoaburpee #wellandgood
    Burpee Breakdown:
    1. Wide knees for a strong jump
    2. Jump and land softly into a squat
    3. Squat with your head in line with your tailbone, and chest up
    4. Place your hands down with your knees wider than your elbows
    5. Keep a flat back and jump your feet back so that you land into a plank
    6. Plank with your shoulders over your wrists, and a straight line from your head to heels
    7. Lower your plank into a push-up keeping the straight line from your head to your heels
    8. Jump your knees to the outsides of your elbows

actually it's 5 exercises: jump, squat, plank, push-up and crunch - you need to drag your legs forward from the push-up position using your abs. Otherwise you will compensate with hip flexors and get them tight. Also before you do the next rep, right after standing up, take one extra breath to exhale CO2 buildup. Only this increased my in a row burpees count by 10.

Just started. Keeping a 15 per day target for a week and then planning on upping the by 5 every week. I'm posting this for 2 reasons. I'll be more committed if I tell people what I'm doing and 2: to find out if this even a good plan 🤔

Mam I really need to comment on this that after watching your video I am really relieved to do Burpees now but the modification part 1 😅. I could not do even a single Burpee . Thanks a lot mam for providing such a helpful video and for the clarification.

A great efficient workout is 100 full pushup burpees broken up into 10 sets of 10. Then you follow up with some strict pullups after, and you're good to go. 💪

Like are you reading this comment now? I am doing this in the comments on 19th and from 20th I am starting this workout. For the whole 1 month I follow this workout to see if my stomach is reduced or not because my son has also passed out a little bit which is making my body saves useless. So, after following this workout, I will comment back after a month and tell you how I feel about the kick. Thank you!

I'm 57 , worked out my whole like but starting get a little creaky and slow so I'm adding more calisthenics lately. My biggest obstacle is my hips don't want to open on things like squats and burpees but I'll bet it worked out . In meantime I do them but slow and careful

Just for clarification, this is a Crossfit burpee, the original burpee, has no push up, nor does it have a jump, from the start this has been a variation. The original is as follows
Move into a squat position with your hands on the ground.
Kick your feet back into an extended plank position, while keeping your arms extended.
Immediately return your feet into squat position.
Stand up from the squat position.
