Bbrrrrrooooo, I had mine connected Wrong for a week now and I was having troubles😢😢😢 the bike was in storage for 2 years so I thought that was whyyyyy. I'm an idiot! Thank you! I hope this fixes the starting problem!!
This cable can be used to jump start the bike? I have a powerful, luxury, high end Scooter the AK 550 and you have to take the wind shield off and another cover off to get to the battery if the battery is dead. So I need to hook something up and route it through the glove box in order to eliminate the need to take so much stuff off the bike for a charge or jump start.

What is the proper procedure for attaching and removing positive and negative battery charger cables for a Lithium-Ion motorcycle battery ?
Do I connect or disconnect positive or negative first?
Always Negative FIRST to disconnect and last to reconnect if you can. What you want to avoid is grounding the positive terminal against the frame with your wrench or screwdriver. If the negative is connected to the battery that is a possibility.
Should the NEG be connected to grounded metal and not battery?
No the charger is low amperage so you wont to minimize resistance.
@@RodRidesWrenches That's what I was thinking but when I looked it up in the owners guide it says to do it that way. Maybe its just for cars?
@@lollipopjuggs can be ground or straight to negative is the same.

The motorcycle’s battery terminal lead needs to be on the bottom and the battery tender cable lead needs to be on top, closest to the screw that keeps them in place.
