I've been playing the forged Mizuno M-Craft IV putter for a year and a half and have never been happier with a putter. Soft feel, but not mushy or inconsistent, great stability and looks amazing. These things are premium all the way. Maybe the best sleeper putters on the market.

Been using Mizuno MP-T101 & MP-T102 putters since 2011... over the years have changed the shafts (to try graphite/steel mix), grips (Superstroke) and headcovers. Still haven't found anything better (even Scotty Camerons). I found the M-Craft very similar to my old ones but wasn't massively compelled to swap -- although I think they had a slightly nicer finish and slightly softer feel off the face. Mizuno make great equipment.

Love the m craft type 1 with the steel shaft! Making long range putts now. Like using the weight kit to fine tune the feel of the putter, very beneficial, great putter overall!

I'm stoked you made this video, I've been using an M craft IV this year, the wide blade model. I think I found my lifetime putter

I only recently discovered we have a company here in Australia, DG golf, who make forged putters with milled faces for $299 Australian dollars or £150. They look really nice, including a blade very similar to the Mizuno. I have a TM hydroblast Del Monte which I only bought 2 months ago which I love but would probably have jumped at one of the DGs if I’d known.

Thanks for the review. I'm eyeing the 05 mainly for that center shaft which I love and the style of putter I've have been using for 27 years. The other thing is the weighting system. I also prefer a heavy puter and this looks great. Cheers

Great video Andy. I have a rife putter that has adjustable weights and also the lie angle. It's about time putters were more adjustable like the drivers. Half of the shots on the round are on greens.

I play the pervious model - m craft 2, it’s the best feeling putter I’ve ever had!! Love mizuno putters!!

I was hoping that Mizuno would release a center shafted mallet in the OMOI line, and the minute they did I order one. You’re 1000% correct on the feel, and I immediately went to the heaviest weights before my first putt with the putter. You are absolutely correct about the head cover, Mizuno really needs to pick up their game here, a Velcro closure, come on. Hopefully I’ll someday soon find a quality putter head cover that fits a small to midsize center shafted mallet head.

good video. I was messing around trying varios putters and picked up the Mizuno and immediately felt how soft the face is. Like you, the mallet style suits me. Waiting for some used to come on the market as the price is pretty rich for me.

2 weeks ago I bought the M-Craft OMOI 02 after a fitting. I struggled with super soft putters form other vendors and the weight always seemed wrong. My Mizuno has been wonderful. I feel like there is more "feeling" for where the putter head is.

Is this a new metal quality and forging they are using or do the existing putters in the range already use it? Very nice looking putters 🎉

totally agree with the head cover. although it looks great, it’s hard as a rock and uses a velcro enclosure instead of magnets. i ended buying a better cover.

I’ve never been much of a fan of the interchangeable weights. During the buying process, I imagine this might be useful so that one putter can be adjusted to fit the feel for more people, but I’ve never been a fan of the look after all that is said and done. However, I will say the rest of the putter looks very nice. One thing I’ve always been critical of SCs is they seem to out of their way to let everyone know it’s a Scotty from every angle. I much prefer the look of the Ping PLD line (their advertising on their PLD line looks much more elegant to me) and Mizuno has seem to captured that a bit better than SC with a much better price.
With that, how would you compare the PLD line with this Mizuno line as they seem to have a similar variety? It’s hard to tell from the video, but Mizuno’s milling pattern didn’t seem to be very deep, but it was hard to get a good look from the video. Also, I’m a big fan of the PLD head covers.
But from what I can see, it seems like Mizuno has brought out a very good looking putter line for a much better price than the PLDs and SCs. Despite having putters from both of those, I still putt better with my wife’s Fetch, plus it’s nice not to have to bend down to get the ball from the hole 😂

I got last years mizuno m craft blade putter and it’s been brilliant. Also use the mizuno pro 225 irons and now thinking about swapping the volky wedges for the mizuno t24 wedges. I just need to find the wedges to test.

Do it! I have the MP225 and T24 wedges. They are great. Need a Mizzy putter I think.

I swapped for the 3 gram weights in my No 1 model and love it… just seems like you can feel where the head is better. Definitely noticeable either way (+/-)

I have the M-craft 1 and 4, and love both of them! I switch out between the two and there is no difference between feel, just look. a standard blade or the wide, I like both and putt the same with them, the blue ion finish is the best looking putter I've ever seen!

I Just went on Mizuno's website. I would prefer the fanged 06 putter. First off, Mizuno doesn't offer it left handed. So, a no go for me. Also, they only offer 34 and 35 inch length shafts. I use a 32 inch stroke lab 7S putter. I'm not going to buy a putter to then have to have the shaft then cut down. I would think a factory option of 32 inches would mean that Mizuno has taken their time to make sure the balance is right. So, that's another no go.
    Not looking good, Andy.

I HATE super soft putters. I have had the same Ping for decades. It’s soft, but not too soft. I bought a Scotty putter with the softer stainless insert, and I hated it. It was so soft I could not control the distance. The Ping I had great distance control. So be careful what this salesman is trying to sell you on. Find a place to try one against your favorite putter and see how it goes. I am pretty sure I would hate it as I have seen what too soft of a putter does. Very inconsistent on distance control.

The head cover on the mallet is my favorite part about my putter. I think they’re the nicest head cover in the putter market
