PNSO 2021 Carcharodontosaurus “Gamba” Review!! Prehistoric Animal Models #50

- Опубликовано: 29 июн 2021
- 2021 is definitely the year of the #Carcharodontosaurus. It’s a species that’s been overshadowed by Giganotosaurus for far too long. Thankfully #PNSO has given us what most consider their definitive Carcharodontosaurus. Proportions, sculpting, and pose are great. My biggest issue is the paint. Too similar to their Allosaurus. And always wish it was a little bigger to scale with Wilson. Other than those small gripes another fine addition to your #dinosaur collection.

pnso has stated that the figure is part of the kem formation line of figures, meaning the figure depicts a C. iguidensis, the smaller species of carcharodontosaurus which only measured 11 metres long. So it’s actually perfectly sized
iv got alot of dinosaur books and the old ones do mention the 8m estimate which was since they were based on the first specimen which was probably a sub adult...
Ordered this beautiful man and Brian on Lana Time. Hope they come soon!
Well this was a great review on *Gamba* the Carcharodontosaurus.
Also I hope your day is going great.
This is a perfect maded animal. It looks like its alive. - Fantastic model. It cant be better. - Absolute beautiful.
Agreed, i have Gamba and he is one of my 3 favourite Pnso figures
My god it looks amazing! Would love to get this.
Looks awesome
So cool love it
Just a minor note but T. Rex, Giga and (maybe) Carcharodontosaurus all kind of range into the same maximum length - BUT T. Rex is a monster compared to both Giga and Carchy here in terms of sheer build - it's a much more powerfully, massively built animal and recent volume estimates place a the larger individual Rexes at a good ton or so heavier in mass than a Giganotosaurus despite their similar overall length and height, and this is owing to T. Rex having a much more massively built head and neck and well as torso - Giga is a lot more narrowly built while T. Rex is built like an absolute tank. As a paleontologist it's one of the things that annoys me about the media depictions of Giganotosaurus as being this massive beast that dwarfs T. Rex when, if anything, if push came to shove, T. Rex has more mass and for sure a far more devastating bite in its corner. Looking at you, Jurassic World: Dominion.
but it is still a huge beast...iv seen the skeleton and despite its flaws its still impressive...its not as narrow as you think ,most recent diagrams put them at the same size....t rex has larger specimens mostly based on the maxillia and isolated fragments ...
It looks beautiful Imma get 1
I just got this fig and I LOVE it
I'm planning to get him. He is my favourite dinosaur. I have the collecta one as well. He should be the male and gamba will be the female
Good plan but after 1 year. Do you get it?
@@Motivator-kh1 yeah I got it. It's actually my only PNSO figure. I mostly get figures I really like and this one is gorgeous. I think other PNSO figures are better but I like this one more myself.
Wow,nice😎🤩
Fatty-pig McFatty-pants LMAO! you crack me up brotherman. Wish I could afford all these, it kills me
You won my respect when you showed a carcharodontosaurus tooth replica. I've been debating what sort of tooth replica I've been wanting to buy.
I'm actually planning to get this figure because I have a real tooth that I want to be displayed together.
I've had a Carchy tooth for about 20 years (real one) and I'm a LITTLE tempted to get this so I finally have something to display with it BUT I feel like it's not high on my list just because it's kind of as you said too similar to their Allosaurus - which I have - even the stance is very similar - and I am starting to really wish they'd think their poses through a little more carefully as far as what can match up with what. For instance, Allosaurus and Stegosaurus in dynamic battle poses would make it much more interesting to pose them opposite each other since they ARE both Morrison formation taxa and they DID meet each other in life. I'd love, for the same reason, an Albertosaurus to go with the Centrosaurus.
BOOK! BOOK! BOOK!
Thanks for the video!! See you later;! Stay safe.😉
Idk but in my opinion it just giving me safari Ltd giganotosaurs vibes i am not saying it's an bad figure but still i like it might buy it a 50/50 for me
who is the dinosaur #47?
This thing would have been a 10/10 if it had lips and no overbite.
But all theropods have overbite... That's how their jaws work
Lips is one thing. But overbite? That’s how theropods are built lol
the carcharodontosaurus size next to wilson is good for either a small sized adult/big subadult C. saharicus or a fully grown C. iguidensis
Yes and pnso has stated that the figure is part of the kem formation line of figures, meaning the figure depicts a c iguidensis. So yeah it’s pretty perfectly sized
@@Strayavenator7460 oh ok didnt know that
Lo si è chiamato Gamba? Mi viene un' altro Gamba: ahr, ahr, ahr!!!
It is a gorgeous Carchar but if only it was the same size as the Eofauna Giga. It would have been perfect.
It could just an average sized individual smaller than the maximum size
The figure depicts the smaller species of carcharodontosaurus called carcharodontosaurus iguidensis, which was only 11 metres long.
The name is pronounced Car-caro-donto-saurus.
6.5/10
I can see why your name is master cap
@@thedapperdibble3622 Cause i know when people are capping. :)
Why is that
@@theacro3472 Above avg
this must mean the collecta one would have to be like a 2 right 😵
